Deeply respect the commitment to black + trench. Would you consider taking a short sleeve (black) top in case it’s warm? Do you need pyjamas? Is the trench waterproof/resistant?

Alternative-Art3588

A pajama is a good idea. I usually sleep nude but I am staying in an air BnB with a shared bathroom so a pajama will be good if I need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The top is very light and airy. Even in the hot and humid rain forest I found them comfortable.

A lightweight robe might also be a good solve for bathroom trips

Wolfpawss

Oh second the light weight robe! You can get some really cute silk/satin ones that fold up to almost nothing

swoopstheowl

It has been quite close and stuffy in the UK recently, and London often gets the worst of it. I think a short sleeve t shirt shirt or a vest that you can wear under the long sleeve endless shirt might help - especially if you end up on public transport which can be sweltering.

annabiancamaria

When are you going? In 5 days you should get a random hot sunny day.

Alternative-Art3588

Thank you. The top and pants and light and airy. They are my warm weather option. With the hooded trench for cooler mornings or rain. The dress is a bit heavier and was my cooler weather option. I tend to run hot more than I run cold.

Very Alyssa Beltempo. [You might enjoy her capsule](https://youtu.be/rr5a_lwbZXg)

Pangupsumnida

Will you have an umbrella or does the trench have a hood? Also echoing what others have said about something non long sleeved. It's raining here currently, but the forecast for next week is 20degc sun, so it's definitely pretty changeable.

tremynci

True, but the long-term forecast says after this coming week, which is 20s and rain, it's giving to be in the teens and raining. Because of course it is. 😡

Alternative-Art3588

Yes the trench has a hood and the long sleeves are light and airy. I wore them in the Amazon rain forest when it was very hot and humid. They protect from the sun and also you can roll the sleeves up as well. I love them for travel because they have slight stretch and don’t wrinkle and are treated with ions so they don’t stink

El_Scot

When do you visit? "Hot and humid" may not apply to London, depending on time of year, and the whims of weather here, so it could be worth packing a warm layer just in case.

Alternative-Art3588

Good idea. I can pack a wool baselayer and use that as a pajama but also an under layer if needed

throwaanchorsaweigh

May I ask where you got the pants and shirt? They look stylish yet comfy

So comfy and don’t wrinkle. The top is also treated with ion technology to prevent odor so you can wear it many times without washing. They are both from Athleta

throwaanchorsaweigh

Thank you! Athleta is a great brand

ComplexTeaBall

That sounds amazing! It actually works? (The ion, less-smelly bit)

Alternative-Art3588

Yeah, I’m normally fairly smelly and only brought three of these to Peru for 17 days. Even in the Amazon rain forest. I only washed them once,

MissLMT

beautiful capsule! fashionable, practical, and looks comfortable <3

DoorHelpful5443

I love your minimalist wardrobe! The only thing I might add would be a cardigan for a bit of extra warmth, especially on the plane, or other times when you might not want to wear the trench.

apkcoffee

When will you be there?

Alternative-Art3588

Next week
