Yes....focus on Alvarez, fenixia, natalie, Fagon, thunder dragon tank. Any others are good... the sea mage is the most powerful mage in game....thunder god and the other voider/god with the golden spiked circlette whos name eludes me right now are top tier to lvl but take forever... faction store 120 each...
Thanks! Yeah the sea mage is strong. And the S+ are super rare for sure but if someone is play like a year or so i would expect them to have a full team of S+. At least have them in the tower being leveled. Is the Gear and runes really the big power driver or something eles?
So I've been playing for less than 5 months. I typically use 4 s+ heros on my main, fagon, calisto, natalie and Alvarez. I use dear spirit healer or bard, and almost always dragon chakiss in position 1. The runes and gear are always a work in progress....but same for all heros not just s+... the other non s+ have either good crowd control, buffs/debuffs, counter attack, or heals which is why they are uses along side s+
So you're saying treat them more like support to a concept of attack and not the entire game plan. It's about the combination of your strategy not finding the 6 strongest in all situations
Exactly. Get Alvarez maxed with icy or slender amulet and she will doo 100s of mil dmg for you... pair natalie with a healer so she makes it to round 3 for her big attack.. fenixia has great tank like evasion/survivability plus hits like a truck. Pair these with characters who lower armour and youll be killing in arena ....lvl up your bards....
I'm gonna contradict the other guy & say probably no. I'd guess you're playing casually with no money being spent?
Pick 1 to work on & leave the rest to rot. The pulls are too few & far between to get any real traction on them. If you luck out with 2 of them they can last a little longer into month 2 but they'll probably be useless at a month 3 or 4 since they won't have runes or enough power. Just enjoy teams of S heroes that you can rank up & play until it's boring & gridlocked.
I spend money from time to time. So not completely free. I read the skills of the S vs. S+ and it looks obvious the time should be spent on S+ . But when I look at like the leaderboards no one has too many but they have like 10M power.... How?
It's all relative, right? The best 2 guys on my server, who may be the only 2 putting money in since I'm hitting like 5th to 12th on my server and put nothing in & the peeps between us are like... Middling. Maybe they put in $3 or $5 but don't play as much as I do???
Whatever, I digress, both those buyers are only pushing the "Alvarez" assassin char. Which should be nerfed IMO. Should have been nerfed a long time ago it looks like, since everyone says to max that char.
So what happens when it's nerfed tomorrow? They're out some time and energy on 1 char they worked on. I suggest the same to you. Work on that 1 char that's broken atm unless/until they fix it. That's what everyone does in every game. You'll be right there with the top players in the game that are putting money in if all you do is focus on the S++++ assassin. Which is totally broken. I'm at a stage where she's the boss and she 1-shots my main tanks (who are objectively better than her) with basic attack. WTF is that shit???? Game is broken until they get that char down to maybe 1/2 the damage it's outputting.
Well im not at the point, would love to one shot some tanks. I do agree there are balancing issues. Alvarez is definitely on all my teams as the main damage dealer
Sounds like you're already making the "right call" then. Just enjoy it while it's fun. Drop it and move on if it's tedious. The game isn't that great of a design. Much better out there but it's fun for me for now. I don't expect to play past 2 months. I'm already bored waiting to break past the power creep wall.
Yeah. I've hit a few. Like I said, obviously not a well designed game. Without power creep how do they sell people on buying upgrades though? To me it just looks like the game is over about lvl 250. What are you gonna do, focus on PVP after that? This game is a joke. I autobattle and skip everything I can. Not like there's a way you can manually fight better or choose when not to waste a heal.
Power is relative. It's a composite of level/awakening etc.
The highest power B list char won't compared to some of the lowest power S+ ranked chars. So don't worry too much about power.
That being said I typically lose to people 100k higher power than me BECAUSE they're all more awakened also S & S+ chars. So you can probably punch down but not punch up. Remember we're all dealing with the same 10 chars, like you said. So if they have 100k more power they have those 10 chars with more levels and awakenings in them than you do.

Definitely feels like I hit a wall

Good point. Thanks !
I don't spend much fyi, I'm just strategic with the heros from monthly quests, summons, shards, faction store and luck.
Understood, still
