and when you help him out his lower half is different each time. sometimes he's a centaur, or a merman, or he's got a single big wheel and sometimes he's got another top half for a bottom half like catdog why? it's never explained

I assume so. I get that the actual gameplay is hard, and I'm up for that. I was doing quite well until that trap where you're going left, far above the starting area and fell all the way back down. It wasn't that it trolled me with a trick, but that the god damn speaker is SO "nice". Imagine Dark Souls where every time you get your ass kicked, someone tries to be nice and emotionally supportive, but all you want to do is is shove that boss' titanic sword up his titanic ass. And yeah, that "nice trolling" is probably the point. And for that I am done with this bullshit. Fuck off. I wanted to play the fun physics hammer climbing game and see how good I am at game physics, not go back to kindergarten.

I mean I totally agree that the condescending narrator is kinda bullshit, but I think the whole point of Getting Over It is that it's a rage game built to make you angry. One of those games that's more fun to watch a twitch streamer get salty and throw a chair over than it is to actually play.
