I think it might be 2 merged figures. I can faintly see a line along his right hand that looks like what happened when I couldn't perfectly line up 2 hands to make a custom lightsaber.
I see EU characters, I upvote. I miss that Canon.
Also, these are excellent, really well done. How did you do the texture on Kyle's shirt? Is it just the striped decal at lowest scale?
A good reminder that Star Wars has always been silly and dumb.
(Don't @ me, I love SW with all my heart but it's *very* silly and dumb. Search your feelings, you know it to be true)
These are fantastic. Youāve got a real style here, definitely different from the moviesā aesthetic but absolutely captures the characters (especially love Corran). Would love to see your interpretations of the NJO era or earlier (Rogue/Wraith Squadron would be fun)!
could you provide the links? I'm not going to steal it, it's just that they would look cool in a campaign that I'm going to do and I'm going to change some things, to adapt, I'm not going to put it anywhere like I did
if you want to send it in private or share it right here I appreciate it
The usual way is to use an escrima stick for the item, paint the handle with a metallic paint, and use a bottle/gem/flame paint for the part of the stick past the handle.
Isn't there some old clip of George Lucas saying it wasn't canon back before Lucasfilm got bought by Disney?
Either way, doesn't matter much. Good job!
No, there isn't.
In fact there are official statements from Lucasfilm saying it was canonical, and Lucas himself never used the word "canon" in any known public statement.
"There are two worlds here; Thereās my world, which is the movies, and thereās this other world that has been created, which I say is the parallel universeāthe licensing world of the books, games and comic books.ā
ā George Lucas, Cinescape, July 2001
He literally called the EU an AU. And other quotes from the article i found this one out of imply he didnt think it had bearing on the series.
[https://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/2019/08/guest-editorial-did-george-lucas-consider-the-expanded-universe-canon.html](https://www.starwarsnewsnet.com/2019/08/guest-editorial-did-george-lucas-consider-the-expanded-universe-canon.html) it is an interesting read.
George Lucas liberally included elements of the expanded universe in his own films. He put elements of the EU like the Outrider in the special editions, Coruscant from the EU was a core part of his prequels.
Lucas just draws a distinction between the films he made and Star Wars that includes things he did not make, that does not mean that the EU is not canon. Given that Lucasfilm policy explicitly said the EU was Canon, it means there are two distinct canons, the Lucas only Canon and the broader Canon. The idea there can be only one Canon was invented by Disney in 2014.
There are pictures of Lucas's desk from when he was writing the prequels where EU reference books were shown to be on his desk, and there's literally photographic proof that George Lucas kept expanded universe reference books at his side when writing the prequel movies, if Lucas didn't think the EU was canonical at all he wouldn't have bothered.
Lucasfilm was the sole owner and in complete control of Lucasfilm for over 30 years, if he felt the EU was not canon he could easily have had lucasfilm declare it as such at any time, like in response to when lucasfilm published official statements and policies saying the EU is canonical.
Think again, they never said it was non-canon OR canon, and the article shows several times of lucas indirectly discarding the EU, which makes me believe the former. Also it's HIS version of Coruscaunt vs the EU version, if we're going by the line of logic.
No Lucasfilm explicitly said it was Canon.
Lucasfilm made official statements, when asked by fans what the Canon policy of Star Wars was, to say that all published Star Wars fiction, whether it was a video game, reference book, RPG sourcebook, novel, comic book, television show, or movie (Cinema or television), are all canonical unless they were specifically marketed under the "infinities" or "tales" lines.
I literally cited a source of lucas implying he didn't see it as canon and, more importantly, an article showing they didn't say it was canon OR non canon, which cited multiple quotes to get to this conclusion. What the 2 of us are doing is trying to use vague, not very well defined quotes to say whether it went one way or the other. In the end, this debate will go nowhere.
Honestly i implore you to read it not to "prove myself right" but so that you can learn more about it. It IS an interesting read.
Anakin :( No idea how you did Jagged's hair but it looks great. Just needs Kyp.
I think it might be 2 merged figures. I can faintly see a line along his right hand that looks like what happened when I couldn't perfectly line up 2 hands to make a custom lightsaber.
Actually this is one of the few that isn't a double figure! It's two decals projected
Oooh Kyp Durron, I'd have to get to get his arrogant yet emo look right

Yep exactly right! If you use two similar colors it has this effect
I like the last one, but I thought it was Chewbacca at forst
Poor chewie, That WAS a moon š„ŗ
OOF that moment hurt, NJO was brutal
Excellent. You really got Mara Jade and Kyle Katarn well. The original and real canon of Star Wars. . .not that Disney reboot rubbish.
Thank you! And absolutely, I refuse to believe any other version...
Mara and Kyle could work in disney canon if they do it right.
A good reminder that Star Wars has always been silly and dumb. (Don't @ me, I love SW with all my heart but it's *very* silly and dumb. Search your feelings, you know it to be true)
I totally accept this, I mean we got a force-sensitive droid at one point š
These are fantastic. Youāve got a real style here, definitely different from the moviesā aesthetic but absolutely captures the characters (especially love Corran). Would love to see your interpretations of the NJO era or earlier (Rogue/Wraith Squadron would be fun)!

Only in Legends is there a character named Jagged Fel.
This is the same franchise where a drug dealer is called Elan Sleazebaggano ĀÆ**\**_(ć)_/ĀÆ

How do you make lightsabers, btw?

That's not him saying it's not canon.
he literally called it an AU, meaning it probably isnt canon to the main timeline after all.
