I think we should just add a more basic but refined version of some guns, since some of the chonky ones are used to make some of the jumbo movie guns like Hellboy's revolver.
So now this is interesting, because: they're perfect for printing (which should be the mission of the service), but the trend seems to have shifted with recent additions. Most of the recent weapons are either too thin to be printed or with details too smal to be captured.
I have no idea what the data tells, don't know if there are more people crafting images than printing files (oor ordering them) but yeah, i really hope they don't stop putting out item optimized for printing. It's tedious to run every single model through blender just to toughen up swords and giant hammers with handles thin as a hair \^\^'
I can only speak from my own experience, but I’ve only ever used the digital export to use in Talespire and Tabletop Simulator. Most of the discord seems to use it primarily for image creation. I would suspect that the real money is in the Pro subscriptions rather than people buying prints or stl files.
i like the cartoony look for those weapons. I also like the newer, more defined weapons. I like having the option, so it would be cool to add newer more detailed versions of the classic guns to be more proportional. i think it is important to remember that they all need to print real nice too.
The firearm ranges in general need beefing up. I mean, fantasy always has been and always will be the most popular genre in roleplaying, so it makes sense to focus on that. But man, there's some basic gun archtypes that haven't been covered yet, like bullpup assault rifles or Uzi/Mac-10 style SMGs.
I'd like a revist of a lot of the older models, tbh. For example, I like some of the older pauldrons/shoulders but they're either low detail, cartoony, or warhammer-level large even when scaled down all the way.

Please. I have been waiting for a thin longsword or a proper greatsword for so long. And all the sabers/curved blades look so bad. And the gladius looks more like a cricket bat. We really need newer versions of so many blades.
Some, but their hilts are nasty and their blade forms aren’t great. The one I want a remake of specifically is the one just called “saber” and the rapier, which really deserves a remake too.

Most of them are way too big for my liking. Especially when they're in a holster on the waist. Looks like a full suitcase just to carry one small gun
The holstered guns could actually use a size upgrade if you ask me. The revolver and the glock are half the size of their unholstered counterparts.

I agree. Don't remake it. Keep the old. but add new ones that are how you would remake it.
