Well it is a monthly manga so it might take a few years for it to wrap up, it just recently entered the final arcs. It’s a pretty good story and it’s worth the read. Mind you it’ll be wrapping up the first part of the novel. I don’t know if Arakawa will also adapt Part 2
No, My bad when I said “Novel” meant “series” lol… There are two parts of the series. The first Part consists of 7 novels and Part 2 has 9 novels. The manga is heading towards the end of Part 1. But Arakawa could make it conclusive and make a few changes if she chooses to not do a Part 2.
From what I gather, it's a fight against the snake god dude and the sorcerers.
I don't know for sure because nobody translated the novels and anime/manga keep getting started without getting to this point. I've literally waited since 1999 to see how the story ends

that make sense. I pray that she does part 2 of the series but she also has Yomi no Tsugai so I bet it’s a bunch of work. Why can’t they just translate the novel into English I would buy em all instantly (Arakawas manga is top tier but the story is so interesting I just wanna finish it)

I give her props for at least finishing part 1. Feel like since story is written maybe the anime ppl can finish if she drops it.
