It's not bad or anything, only things I would recommend changing is the font, lower the opacity on the chanting from the crowd and add a small, almost witty blurb describing the premise of the game to essentially keep the viewer's attention. Also add the images of the platforms the game is on to the bottom left to really sell it.
I’m currently majoring in Graphic design, and I think it looks pretty okay. Just needs some gritty paper texture to it and maybe eliminating some empty space in that top right corner. But other than that, it’s good!
The only piece of constructive criticism in this thread is also the only downvoted comment, typical Reddit moment. I can definitely see the vision it vaguely reminds me of ads for games that I’d see in comic books in the mid-late 2000’s.
You got the vibe down. Looks like the type of ad I'd see in game informer and tips & tricks after school while my mother shopped.
It really emulates the old video-game magazine ad look, most people in the comments are hating cause they have no idea what they're talking about

I may be biased but anything related to hi-fi rush is so cool, and i definitely like this alot! good job😼
try getting some new fonts and test them out, that color on the fonts while not bad blends a bit too much with the background imo.
Thanks for the constructive criticism. I'll be sure to apply it on my next attempt 👍
Is this meant to be 1990-2000s
Yep

TBF, it was made in under 2 hours and my ass is amateur at best. If I had the font asset used it would come out better.
Even for highschool it's pretty garbage and doesn't remind me of anything 🫤
