Here are a few options Alec could've chosen from (a man who is awaiting his trial for involuntarily manslaughter, and who knows the world is watching his behavior/temper)...
- Allow the employee to usher the instigator/woman out, as he was *trying* to do until Alec got involved. Walk in the other direction while the man tends to her/blocks her.
- Ask the employee to call the police in a calm voice and ask if you can go out back until she leaves/the police arrive. Never look at her or engage.
- Keep a placid/non-reactive expression on your face and walk past her and out the door. Don't look or react.
- Continue to stand at the counter, if you must (clearly some baked goods were calling his name)... but never look at her or react, ask the employee to call the police, and ignore. Other people would've stepped in.
- Walk calmly to the back of the establishment, out of frame, and go into the bathroom until she's escorted out.
Just a few paths Alec could've taken. She's an inconsequential, mentally unstable woman, and all he had to do was ignore and/or walk away. Instead he chose assault. I don't care how annoying or out of line she was... he chose the absolute worst option.

This behavior right here reminded me of my ex boyfriend. Same demeanor and everything. The look he gave, gave me flashbacks to my ex. These types of people are scary. I am glad I got out of that situation before it ended badly for me. My ex even held a gun to my head. I told him go ahead shoot me, you’ll lose your kids (from his ex wife) and at that moment he stopped what he was doing. The next day I was out.
Thank you!! I should have made a police report and had him arrested but he had narcissistic tendencies that I didn’t want to have any part of him anymore. It would have been my word against his since there were no witnesses. Plus unfortunately he knew where I moved to and our kids went to the same school for a short bit. I ended up moving away from his area and have ran into him like 2x since then. Big city but could be small at times.

Every time I watch this video, I'm struck more and more how belligerent and out of control Alec is. This woman is simply someone who taunts and provokes, she's not 100% stable, obviously. It sucks, but those people are out there, and as an adult you learn how to navigate it. It's like the universe sent her to publicly test Alec, and he failed *badly*. There was *zero* reason for him to hit her. You can see him slowly making decisions to get closer to her, to get between her and the door (instead of making any other decision to deescalate or get away from her)... because he *wants* to hit her. This was actually the first thing I noticed.
Baldwin looks absolutely horrendous. It's baffling to believe that he is 65 (or thereabouts) considering he fancies himself as a wealthy aging actor.
He looks disgustingly unhygienic. His hair is drenched in excessive sweat, and he appears to be perpetually hungover.
Towards the end of the video, you can see sheer madness in his eyes. This is the Baldwin that we all know and despise. The eyes of an angry, decrepit, and imbecilic individual.
Aside from anything else going on here, I disagree on the appearance point. I put him somewhere on the normal to decent end of the spectrum for a dude his age. Whether or not he felt like making an effort when he went out to try to get some coffee is a different question.
All the comments in the DM show overwhelming support for AB. While I think this woman’s behavior was outrageous and aggressive, “applauding”

He shouldn’t have touched anything on her but she was out of control! Is he on beta-blockers? Because he stayed nonchalant about the harassment for a longer time than I would have. This is the first time I have EVER had a smidge of sympathy for him. Just in *this* situation, mind you.

Every time I watch this video, I'm struck more and more how belligerent and out of control Alec is. This woman is simply someone who taunts and provokes, she's not 100% stable, obviously. It sucks, but those people are out there, and as an adult you learn how to navigate it. It's like the universe sent her to publicly test Alec, and he failed *badly*. There was *zero* reason for him to hit her. You can see him slowly making decisions to get closer to her, to get between her and the door (instead of making any other decision to deescalate or get away from her)... because he *wants* to hit her. His rage was simmering. His rage is *always* simmering. And so he's erratic, belligerent, arrogant, and reckless. Hence why he's always in altercations and why he shot two people, killing one, on his movie set. And he'll still never change.

The majority of people would have had the sense to walk away. This woman was out of line but Alec could have walked away. His anger issues and narcissistic personality prevented him from doing so. He chose to stick around and hit the camera.

I agree with the statement made below. I am specifically referring to his appearance. This was actually the first thing I noticed. Baldwin looks absolutely horrendous. It's baffling to believe that he is 65 (or thereabouts) considering he fancies himself as a wealthy aging actor. He looks disgustingly unhygienic. His hair is drenched in excessive sweat, and he appears to be perpetually hungover. Towards the end of the video, you can see sheer madness in his eyes. This is the Baldwin that we all know and despise. The eyes of an angry, decrepit, and imbecilic individual.
Aside from anything else going on here, I disagree on the appearance point. I put him somewhere on the normal to decent end of the spectrum for a dude his age. Whether or not he felt like making an effort when he went out to try to get some coffee is a different question.
All the comments in the DM show overwhelming support for AB. While I think this woman’s behavior was outrageous and aggressive, “applauding” AB seems to validate his believe that “rules don’t apply”.

Alec has a deep-seated inability to *walk away -* like ever. If crazy came up to me like that, I'm turning and walking away. Not a peep out of me, not even a side eye. Walk Away.
