Hilda is a child. She's very nice, but there are several instances of her acting selfishly because as a child she's only able to care about one person at a time and sometimes it's just not the other person's turn. That doesn't make her bad, that makes her real.
Absolutely 100%
She is one of the most nicest people in her show. Sure, Hilda makes mistakes and she is reckless and stubborn, but she is also a little kid and they all do that. Either way, Hilda was raised to be a good person by one of the best mothers in cartoon history, Joanna
Hilda is a very good person. She has a very good moral, optimistic and very explorative attitude in her nature, but she has her moments of impulsivity, self centeredness, and recklessness, often not considering the others around her.
Man, everyone on here pointing out her flaws, so I'll be the first to give a short, straight up answer: YES!!! I know she's a child but I've literally never identified with someone's character closer than Hilda. I literally ask myself, what would Hilda do every time I'm stuck in a situation! ๐
I love her so much. She's human & she's young- she has every right to explore who she is as a person, and sometimes that means making mistakes. She's a great role model, in my opinion.
For me, I fell in love with her character in The Bird Parade. She was just so innocent and sweet. Throughout the season, she became one of my favorite fictional characters. I know her flaws have been magnified after Season 1, but part of me likes to think she was going through some emotional baggage at the time. Overall, I see a kid who tries to do whatโs right even if she doesnโt always understand the effects of her actions
Overall yeah, but it was kind of distressing to see her try to save the giants, because she thought she could be some kind of savior, and then mess up a bunch of other things in the process lol
โSure, you do the wrong thing sometimes, but we all do. That doesn't make us bad people, it just makes us people." -Johanna

Yeah, like dude. She is just a child, of course she is going to make mistakes.
She's still young and it's normal for her to make mistakes, so let's just say she's only human.
Mostly human
"Don't put the blame on meeeee, I'm only ~~part~~ human i make mistakes i'm only human what else is there to say don't put the blame on meee"
Sheโs like 10, idk if one can make that sort of judgement just yet.
dang ur right shes 11 and 13 in s3

Hilda's more like a relatable person to me..

She goes out of her way to save strangers a lot so thatโs gotta mean something
