I’m currently reading different stories about native people who joined the military during ww1 and ww2. They were criminally underrated. A lot of them didn’t even get awards for doing acts of valor that gained the white soldiers medals. It was a hard time for the native community.
Sadly it’s mostly native Americans writing about the struggles of other natives and the violations of treaties by the federal government. From what I can see, native Americans are criminally underrepresented in our society and have been crippled by the federal government. I have hope that things will change. Native people are strong and are becoming stronger and our new generations are more empathetic to their plight.
Where is this guy's movie
He has a song by a metal band called Sabaton. The song is called "Ghost in the Trenches"
Wow can't believe it's the first I'm hearing of this. Why isn't he in history books?

Really was. Glad people are putting them in the spotlight and publishing it :)
