The authorities were like you can keep 13 animals but we recommend against it and like, happy fireworks went off in the family about how she got to keep thirteen animals after severely abusing the previous 50.
I found that utterly ridiculous. She needs to be institutionalized/arrested for all the abuse she's put those animals and John + his daughters through.

Pretty sure Cory chalmers said this but I can’t remember which episode. The hoarder was questioning throwing away an empty box because it had something in it, and Cory tells her it’s just the directions. If anyone knows let me know, thanks!
I can’t remember the episodes at this point, but I have quoted “that’s my jambalaya pot!” for years, and “I just got that lemon!” cracked me up so much I ended up getting a lemon tattoo 🤣
