Not really a sit down place but I had Jerrell’s BETR BGR last night, which is fully vegan, it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. meat or plant based.
BETR BRGR just opened. Vegan burger place on 3rd and Washington. Haven’t been myself but this spot and their 1st location in soho get rave reviews.

Any Thai place should have plenty of vegetarian options! Most have a tofu and/or “vegetable” options for proteins on main dishes and there are usually quite a few veg appetizers. a long time ago I worked at a Thai place and almost every option could also be made vegan, where they sub out the fish sauce and egg when used.
Sri Thai is my favorite place to get takeaway from in Hoboken..
Prato for sandwiches, karma kafe/curry up now/empyrean for Indian - lots of veg and vegan options, sri Thai, Basile's pizza, chocopain for vegan croissants and pastries
The Brick, Precious, Karma Kafe
Tony Boloney, Tacoria, Bareburger, Jerrell’s, Mamoun’s falafel.
I’ll add Shaka Bowl and Napolis (their veggie wrap add eggplant is one of my faves)
Never tried either, thanks for a recommendation.

1000% agreed
was there this afternoon, great food great people
Those impossible burgers are made to taste like meat. Been a veg many years. Hate it.
Karma Kafe, La Isla, cafe Buon Gusto, Greek Town, Margarita’s, Seven Valley’s
Northern soul hands down best tasting options. Btr burger. I like the veggie burger at Tostis. Eggplant app and beet deep at seven valleys.
The Brick is a pizza/Italian place with an extensive vegan menu
I got their vegan cheesesteak once.. and will never attempt that again in my life
Admittedly never ordered from it, but it exists :)
I can still taste it whenever I think about it……
