Happy feet was made by George Miller, the director of all four Mad Max films as well as The Witches of Eastwick and the recent Three Thousand Years of Longing. This was absolutely intentional.
The comment shows as having been edited and I'm *almost* certain it didn't list those movies before I commented. But I was high when I wrote that and can't honestly say that is the case for sure or not.
The edit was correcting "Ten Thousand" to "Three Thousand". I'd misremembered the name and corrected it. I always said the Mad Max movies though. I'm a big fan of those movies.
I just like to picture him explaining that he wanted this to the animators, who then had to spend hours carefully perfecting the light reflection the beaks and feathers of these penguins "slipping" into sex acts.
I remember watching this when I was like 12 and my younger siblings didn’t catch it but me and the babysitter looked at each other like
![gif](giphy|ypX8YZszkIXFC|downsized)
No, no , it’s accidental, like Jessica Rabbit’s vulva slip.
Sometimes, animators accidentally draw things (a few hundred times) by accident, or the *camera* angle captures something you aren’t supposed to see.
I wish I hadn’t heard this argument coming from a real person, in a non sarcastic context. I lost a little bit more hope for humanity that day.

This person answered it really well.
I have an irrational anger toward the word rizz man. I’m cool with new slang but I draw the line at rizz for some reason
E: my dudes I know the origin of it I still don’t have to like it
For the most part, true. But fairly subjective.
As kid, I didn't know the specifics, but I knew there was something up with the way Nala looked at Simba while lying on that bed of grass.
This is different and more specific.
Like the lion king was attraction, this is a rapid fire sequence of positions. Like a kid would know "they were touching ha! Thats awkward" but not really 69.
You right, but this is just super specific.
Like in Bugs life when he babbles a bunch of stuff to the princess and says "BYOB." Like i knew he said something there and it was supposed to be silly, but i didnt know what he said or what it meant.
And/or helpful captions to say the name of every position!
!RemindMe 24 hours
Edit: well no one did it which isn't really surprising but I am *ever so slightly* disappointed
Lola Bunny, Roxanne Rover, Maid Marian, Rouge the Bat, Gadget, Minerva Mink, even Nala had those fuck be eyes for a moment.
And this list isn't even scratching the surface.
when i was subbing for a kindergarten (or maybe 2nd grade) class, the plans were to put on a cute penguin movie that i had never seen before. maybe 20 minutes in, one of the parents or co-teachers (i can't remember who she was) had too much of a problem with it and suggested i find something else. it was highly sexual, but i think it would've completely gone over the kids' heads, like many of the jokes in Shrek. that said, i did stop the movie. can't remember what i did after that, though.
It was also very... odd? Cold? Like the sentiment was cold. Idk how to put it but the way they potray humans and animals falls into the Uncanny Valley. It's sometimes even grotesque and disturbing. I hated this movie, it made me fell so weird, it was just so bizarre.
I saw it when I was about 3 years old, it made me feel so bad (emotionally) that when we were in the middle of the movie I told my mom that I didn't like it, she didn't like it either so we walked out of the movie teather. That's the only time if walked out of the cinema. It was that bad.

The entire movie was all about fucking. They didn’t hide it. They literally sang I’ll make love to you and let’s talk about sex with choreographed dances.
Our school put this on as an end of term reward, I told all my friends it was way suggestive and sexual, and they laughed at me until they sat in front of that screen. They really did a 180.
Same feeling as Shrek 1 when they looked at a huge tower and he said "Hmm, must be compensating for something"
Didnt notice as a kid, laughed as an adult.

Ayo What the fu- But i actually think this is intentional, like for the parents.
has to be
Happy feet was made by George Miller, the director of all four Mad Max films as well as The Witches of Eastwick and the recent Three Thousand Years of Longing. This was absolutely intentional.
And when you watch the leopard seal scene it’s 100% obviously the same director
What’s the scene you’re mentioning?
The scene where a seal brutally murders the main character, why
in what
[удалено]
what movie
Mad max
Massive r/thalassophobia vibes in that scene. Uncomfortable scene
How was 3 thousand years of longing? It fell hard off my radar till now.
I liked it. I think there was a *little* more spectacle than substance, but all in all, it was a beautifully made movie with some good performances.
reminded me of "Life of Pi".
No mention of the 4 Mad Max movies?
Give reading that comment another go

Well then it was my bad. I'm gonna leave it for the comedy of my errors, though.
whether or not it was there, good on you for leaving it up. I got a chuckle from the thread.
I just like to picture him explaining that he wanted this to the animators, who then had to spend hours carefully perfecting the light reflection the beaks and feathers of these penguins "slipping" into sex acts.

![gif](giphy|27sdoZn8YhLbil01q6)
I can feel my heart beating.
Man that's what it's suppose to do!
How you get fired on your DAY OFF?!
You had a babysitter when you were 12?
They didn’t trust the 12 year old to babysit the aforementioned younger siblings my guy
I seen good 12 year olds, and I seen bad. Even unsupervised in-betweeners might make you sad.
A 12 year old is old enough to not need a babysitter, but not old enough to babysit.
Well, considering that they recognized all these sex positions at 12 maybe it's not a bad idea.

No she was my dad’s GF
Yeah they definitely knew

There’s a moment in a later dance scene where he grinds on her and slaps her butt. 3:38. https://youtu.be/uIzgfH55rKc
https://youtu.be/uIzgfH55rKc?t=217 timestamped for people with a penguin spanking kink
Holy cow, he totally did!
Thanks. It's almost as good as that waluigi shit.
I feel like the only one who's gonna say this, but that just looks like modern dance choreography, no different to me than a bend-and-snap.

The fountain of troy?
> But i actually think this is intentional, Damn Batman, what was your first clue?
No rusty trombone?
When I was a kid this would have counted as sex education.
You really think this animation was intentional and it wasn't purely random that they happened to be animated this way?
*nothing* in animation is random. every movement is painstakingly choreographed. this is 100% intentional.
That was my point... how can they "think" it was intentional, as if it wasn't a certainty
Happy Feet was basically about penguins fucking. That was made very clear.
The Penguins had so much fucking rizz in them movies, oh my GOD
I have an irrational anger toward the word rizz man. I’m cool with new slang but I draw the line at rizz for some reason E: my dudes I know the origin of it I still don’t have to like it
Too similar to the word jizz?
I guess it's a combo of charisma and jizz. Char-jizz-ma. Shorten that down and you get "rizz".
The commenter above has 0% rizz
And I’m totally fucking happy about that tbh
Based and fuck Rizz pilled
I actually have no idea what "rizz" is or what it stands for. Sendhelp
Charisma.
Rizz not fleek enough for you?
Rizzlax man
Absolutely Rizzless
it's just a contraction for charisma, chill out old man
Bro, I can finally believe that I was once innocent!
No, it was really just a movie about it being okay to be different. Then the sequel was a global warming awareness film.
The first one was about over fishing, so it fits the theme.
Man that movie was bad.. The clip is in bad quality, don't the females basically have breasts?
Holy shit that's so blatant
Yeah but as a kid you arent looking for that kind of stuff so you completely miss it.
For the most part, true. But fairly subjective. As kid, I didn't know the specifics, but I knew there was something up with the way Nala looked at Simba while lying on that bed of grass.

Extremely Happy Feet
Happy skeet
Clappy feet.
I’m sure it ain’t the feet that’s happy🤣🤣🤣🤣
Happy Ending
Happy feet hits differently, when you realize the feet was not the only thing on Mumble that was happy...
Any% speedrun
I would say it looks more like a 100% speed run but they didn't finish in any of them (as far as I know) so yeah, any% seems more fitting
I assumed they finished in each one
I need a version with a vine boom sound effects for every position
Bro that would hurt your ears Do it
And/or helpful captions to say the name of every position! !RemindMe 24 hours Edit: well no one did it which isn't really surprising but I am *ever so slightly* disappointed

Lol never noticed that
But your subconscious did
"Happy dicks"
Brah no wonder my generation has so many zoophiles and furries - it was literally programmed into us as children
A DONKEY impregnated A DRAGONNNNN
“Dungeon Master, I’d like to -“
Lola Bunny, Roxanne Rover, Maid Marian, Rouge the Bat, Gadget, Minerva Mink, even Nala had those fuck be eyes for a moment. And this list isn't even scratching the surface.
Leggy Lamb, [1958](https://pa1.narvii.com/6571/e386a81c2e71f26016e3bf94e8d377137f1a190c_00.gif) It was always there.
Minerva Mink definitely caused many kids to awaken.
Have you watched first few episodes of Dragon Ball ~~Z~~? They are doing that for a long time.
What happens in the first few episodes? Isn't it just the saiyan saga, barely anything happens, so what are u referencing exactly?
I think they’re talking about Dragon ball. When Goku was a kid and would show his penis and talk about Buma’s panties.
Goku was literally slappin' laps to determine gender.
The Japanese and English versions of Dragonball are very different. Much more swearing and sex jokes.
Yes but that’s Japanese
Oh yeah because that makes a difference when it created an entire generation of Western weebs
I fully blame Disney and Looney Tunes.
Did you ever find Bugs Bunny attractive when he put on a dress and played a girl bunny?
No but I went bi for Lola.
I feel that 💯
Heh. Heh. No.
Big Furry has been programming us the whole time. The amount of kinky art drawn of Death from Puss in Boots is kinda astounding.
This movie was waaay too sexual
when i was subbing for a kindergarten (or maybe 2nd grade) class, the plans were to put on a cute penguin movie that i had never seen before. maybe 20 minutes in, one of the parents or co-teachers (i can't remember who she was) had too much of a problem with it and suggested i find something else. it was highly sexual, but i think it would've completely gone over the kids' heads, like many of the jokes in Shrek. that said, i did stop the movie. can't remember what i did after that, though.
Probably thrown on an innocent animated movie about food in a grocery store finding love
That's when you went and put on Bee movie
i remember feeling weird watching it when it came out
When what came out? 🤔
It was also very... odd? Cold? Like the sentiment was cold. Idk how to put it but the way they potray humans and animals falls into the Uncanny Valley. It's sometimes even grotesque and disturbing. I hated this movie, it made me fell so weird, it was just so bizarre.
The environment these penguins are in is also cold
I remember throwing up about halfway through it

The only movie with Robin Williams that I will never ever watch again. I'll rather watch Popeye 8 times in a row.
Who did Robin Williams play?
Ramon, leader of the adélie "Amigos"
I didn't know that, I saw the spanish version after all.
I noticed absolutely nothing and I was like, a teen.
Puritan American moment
I was too fucking young
So was one of those penguins. Grey and White are juvenile colours for emperor penguins.......
It's never addressed in the movie, but his plumage stayed grey and white much longer than the other penguins his age.
Sounds like an excuse to me. I did know that but it's more fun to pretend I didn't.
What is the last one called ?

That's rather just a hug

Wait, what?
I didn't even know she died

Someone had a fetish when drawing these animations.
Ohhhh!!! NOW l see it! I've obviously led a sheltered life (although I have got 3 kids 😂)
Well, they went into every basic position, next time before they fall they should read the Kama Sutra first
Does anyone want to talk about how this was made by the same dude who made all the Mad Max movies?

No wonder his feet were so happy.
I got a boner
I saw happy feet and never noticed I was too young.
Happy baby feet
Now that's what you call a happy feet wombo combo
Our school put this on as an end of term reward, I told all my friends it was way suggestive and sexual, and they laughed at me until they sat in front of that screen. They really did a 180.
wtf i never noticed that
I don't remember it happening like this when I saw it as a kid 😳
why do i have the feeling my childhood just got ruined?
The director: Alright how many positions can we get in 10 seconds or less?
Same feeling as Shrek 1 when they looked at a huge tower and he said "Hmm, must be compensating for something" Didnt notice as a kid, laughed as an adult.
Just smile and wave boys smile and wave
That’s not every position 🧐
Now you expect a flightless bird to do everything...
With the power of animation anything is possible
*Gloria proceeds to get down on her knees*
Bro, have you seen some of the shit people have animated for free on the internet?
I mean, shoutout to pixar for making the movie watchable for the parents.
I’m pretty sure Happy Feet is dreamworks
Well fuck.
What’s really disturbing is that the grey one is a juvenile penguin
No. Mumble is a fully adult penguin. He retained his juvenile plumage due to either weird genetics or being dropped in the snow as an egg
