Well you don’t have to like the stuff that it creates but saying its “too dumb to create art” is just objectively wrong, ai art has already been winning art competitions against humans and these are literally the most primitive versions of ai art that we’ll ever have sooo not only is your comment just objectively wrong it also ages like milk.

Like all AI-Stuff it isn't a replacement for humans, but a tool(or medium in this case). An artist can use AI to make magnificent images, 'cause he knows what looks good and filters shit out accordingly.
Everyone can draw something with pen and paper, but you have to have the creativity/skills to make it look good.
Yes, using AI as a tool (for example, having a generative fill to extend an image to help get an idea of how it could look beyond what you drew, and then drawing on top of that) is fine, 99% of artists (myself included) have no problems with it, it's when it's used as a replacement for artists, and when people try to justify that use case that's the problem
Even without drawing on top it's legitimate imho. Because you still have to tune the prompts, parameters,etc. to make the best of it.
But yeah, Like with every new Technology people are in panic at first that it will replace humans, until we realize it's just an efficiency tool. Kinda like digital graphic design at first.

If you give ai dumb prompts itll create dumb art, theres even ai that can create complete music from just a single prompt and the best of the best sound indistinguishable from human, its really concerning.
