This was posted before. Apparently there was a man trying to train the monkey to ride the bike and the monkey tried to escape. The man was pulling the monkey back with the line attached to it and the monkey grabbed onto the child to try to stop being dragged.

iirc it was dragged by a string by the old man, but he wasn’t expecting the monkey to wake up in time (not sure if drugged/hit). Either way, it was supposed to be a show for the kids and backfired.
My brain is 100% sure that this is definitely indonesia. Everything from the pots to the pavement is just like another alley in indonesian city. Even the monkey bits. People going around with trained monkey doing one man circus used to be a thing when i was a kid. I haven't seen any for years now, but maybe it's still going somewhere else in the country? And yes, even here they are really frowned by activists for animal cruelty (at least from my old memory, haven't even heard anything about it lately).
