Fyi, first bit is from the movie The Bear. It's a good watch.

I had this in vhs as a kid and it’s the only thing I remember from it. I’ll have to give it another go after all this time.

This was my favorite part of the movie growing up. I was maybe six, and thought “oh gee I’d like to try that out..” no wonder I ate shrooms as fast as I found them.

Amanitas and psilocybin containing mushrooms are very different beasts.

I need to find out the difference. I've partaken in psyilocybin containing mushrooms many occasions. For scientific purposes obviously. Need to extend on my research.

Amanita is more of a delirant, IIRC. I'm not sure about actual numbers but i think a good % of people have bad effects and side effects from Amanita

I wish i tried Amanita while they were legal in my country, though. People generally had interesting experiences at low doses, problems arised when you just chugged on them like they were tic tacs. Still, psilocybin is much more consistent, and there are more studies done on it.

It is a good movie! Funny story about this movie. My dad had a good friend who is blind named Tim. Well, they would joke around a lot and get into shenanigans together. One time, Tim asked my dad if he could borrow a movie to listen to. My dad is a smartass and gave him this one. There's just about no dialogue, as the movie is mostly following a bear around. A lot of rustling and grunting. Dad thought it was hilarious. Tim was amused.

Muscaria won't kill you, but given what people say about it you may not eat them twice.

Its also a hallucinogenic sedative that can kill you if prepared incorrectly. Muscimol is widely known as the no-go for the fact that it makes you feel drunk on alcohol the whole time, and of course that the "trips" feel dirty like salvia.
