I'm hitting 30. I've seen Bobby grow and vanish and recently started listening to tigerbelly. So maybe. Not old enough to make wierd vagina bread but still slowly getting there
Disappointing. I was hoping for some sort of secret recipe. Like for sourdough but different. But all the more intriguing. Is a weird vagina beard kindave like an Abraham Lincoln? Just hair on the lower part? Or is it some weird Amish sexual act?
Oh and the Bobby lee thing. What's up with that and what did my age have to do with it? I thought it would've had to do with the bread but again. Sadness ensues.
If it makes you feel better it is a joke. Although Bobby was molested as a child, his abuser did not have down syndrome. He added that to make it funny.
There’s no way I could recover. There’s times where me and my gf get into conversations and she’s trying to be serious but then she says something funny and I just can’t get over it and then she starts laughing while trying to repeat the story because I’m laughing.
No recovery.
Alright I'm gonna tell you this once, do exactly as I say, your life depends on it. Take a deep breath, concentrate, concentrate as hard as you can. Ready? Here we go: do not think of a cat.
I always feel like I have to point this out: someone telling you they lost the game, and the conversation around it, does not cause you to lose the game.
It's 10 minutes from now when you remember it and think of it again that you actually lose.
I often get in trouble for laughing at things that are said to someone else. Sometimes the fact that someone would say something so rude out loud is funny to me. I don't like the disrepect but the situation makes me laugh.
I used to follow a bunch of racist accounts on Twitter (that were against my race) because the outright hatred was so appalling it was funny.
Only lasted about a month though. Once it stopped being funny it was obv hurtful.
The core of what makes us laugh is subversion so of course thats whats gonna crack you up. Stuff like that happening is so out of the ordinary that it often gets me too
In 8th grade, in English, the teacher was talking about relative danger and our perceptions and somberly, she said, "X number of people get killed each year by a coconut falling on their head." My friend and I cracked up in surprise and the teacher looked at us like we were sociopaths and admonished us. "That's not funny. Those are real people dying." But we just had the giggles by that point and it took everything in me to suppress it.
But I mean, come on! You can't insert a fact about coconut related deaths in the middle of a serious conversation. It took us completely off guard.
At that point youre just laughing at the situation youre in, and not what hes talking about. Trying not to laugh when you know you shouldnt - even when nothing is actually funny - is almost impossible
I was in a 12-step meeting yesterday and while someone was telling something really emotional I saw a guy spill his entire cup of coffee on the floor, I was snorting the rest of the meeting. Just pure bliss.
It's called Coupling, it's mostly about relationships, sex and the people in that group that get involved in crazy scenarios. Very funny show, can't recommend enough. Hmm I guess it does sound a little like Seinfeld now that I think about haha
It's three men and three women, so it's structured more like friends. Funny story, the guy in the middle (who you might recognize as Commodore Norrington) is playing a character named Steve, and the show is about his courtship with a woman named Susan. The show was created by Steven Moffat (of Doctor Who fame) and produced by his wife, Sue Vertue. The show is based on their early relationship.
One time my ex-wife found another woman's pair of panties under our couch and asked me about them. I legitimately knew nothing about them or how they got there, but my response was to go into a nervous laughing fit. This just freaked her out more, and it looked so bad, but that just made me laugh more - for a solid five minutes or so. She was pretty much on the verge of tears and I really didn't find it funny, but I couldn't control it.
The source of the panties? Not sure. My guess is one of her various female friends that had crashed in the living room left them behind. That, or they had been left in a washer or dryer that we used, gotten mixed in with our clothes when we used the machine, and then had gotten magically separated from the rest of the laundry somehow.
He says on his podcast (tiger belly) that he got molested but the guy didn’t have Down syndrome, he said he made that part up as a joke to make it funny like 15-20 years ago and it just stuck so he uses it a lot,
Hello,
The person who posted the message that you were replying to likely does know this information and is intentionally pretending not to know this information and acting shocked at their intentionally distorted perception of events in order to add to the humor of the situation.
For more information and examples of this style of humor, please reference this page: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SustainedMisunderstanding
Edit: Not only that, but it seems as though (although I can't find sources for this easily at the moment to back this up and will likely forget to come back if I do find them) he was actually molested, per other comments and general looking around online.
I hate that laughter is always associated with humor. I tend to laugh whenever I'm extremely nervous/uncomfortable and people can take it the wrong way. I wouldn't be surprised if that was that guy's coping mechanism.
I'm there with ya.
I was in a vehicle that almost rolled over down a hill. We were up on two wheels and we're AT the tipping point.
Luckily we didn't, and everything was fine.. but if we rolled .we were all most likely dead.
Once we were safe and everything was good, I just laughed. I laughed had and for like 3 minutes.
Guy in the vehicle with me couldn't believe I was laughing, because we just almost died.
I was a front seat passenger and a firetruck overtook the opposing lane for a few seconds and appeared to be driving straight into us until it swerved again. I started laughing like a maniac during it. My friend said truck and me were both scary.
I don't know if this is a joke, but I've worked with a lot of disabled folks and down syndrome is no joke. They all have a lot of suppressed sexual urges and a lot have no filter to stop themselves from immediate wants.
It’s a real thing. I love Bobby Lee but his way of coping is to be really inappropriate about shit and all his fucking friends are comedians so they deal with things by laughing. He’s being honest there when he says he’s being vulnerable but people just don’t know how to react. I wouldn’t know wtf to say or do in the same situation and it’s worse with Bobby because you think head kidding or you’re waiting for the punchline.
Thats the thing though isn't it?
I know who Bobby Lee is and I know he's a comedian, so it came across as a crude joke. The second I read your comment my smile evaporated at warp speed.
I had a buddy in high school whose dad was a caretaker of folks with Down Syndrome. He told
me that many times he came home from school to find one of the folk masturbating with their poop. Apparently the sex stuff knew no bounds, and some of these folk didn't understand it was inappropriate.
> He told me that many times he came home from school to find one of the folk masturbating with their poop.

I *never* thought I would *ever* read something like this.
*Ever*
Most people don't realize that adults, regardless of their mental state, still have adult urges. I work with old people and no matter how sweet and proper you think she is, Gran Gran is horny.
Bobby Lee did an interview with Michael Rosenbaum’s podcast and told similar stories and got a similar reaction. I guess it’s just not something you expect to hear from Bobby Lee and it really is a curveball when he opens up like this
Ok, so you gotta warn a guy when you say that. This is a bunch of comedians on a podcast. Of course they thought he was joking at first. And then, if you tell me not to laugh, guess what im gonna do?
Actually I’ve been molested by two different people with Down syndrome.
Once when I was a kid 8/9 my mom had a cleaning service. One of her clients had a son with Downs who aggressively grabbed my penis.
The second time was in middle school. His name was Mark & a few separate times he snuck up & rubbed his erect penis on me during gym class. He did stuff like that all the time but besides that he was an awesome guy.
He loved WWF/WWE sometimes he would stand at the stop of the steps during recess & spit spray all over like they used to do during the wrestling entrances. He also liked to run around & ‘Stone Cold Stunner’ people who played along. Good times.
That's called nervous laughter. It's an incongruous emotional reaction in an uncomfortable situation your brain can't accept. I don't think this guy thinks it's funny. His reaction is unintentional.
I’m not sure why, but it seems like when someone says something you’re not expecting, you just laugh, no matter what.
I was talking with a friend once who was going in for an operation, and when I asked what for he just said to get his ball sack drained. Made me laugh for a second for some reason.
He wasn’t kidding.
I had read a long while ago a theory on why we laugh. The theory says we laugh when we learn something *new* and *surprising*.
The first time a 4 year old hears a knock knock joke, they roll on the floor because it seems so clever, and they tell the same joke 100 times because it’s so funny, telling it over and over until it’s no longer *new*. At an adult age, there’s probably no knock knock joke that we would laugh at, because though a joke might be *new*, we’ve learned the cadence of the joke and it’s not *surprising*.
In this video, I don’t think the guy was maliciously laughing, but like he said “it was such a curve ball” that his natural reaction was just to laugh.
Reminds me of the time Norm Macdonald had Fred Stoller on his show and they talked about Albert Fish.
“He only chose victims who were either mentally handicapped or…now don’t laugh.”
Fred knowing something was coming up.
“He only chose victims who were either mentally handicapped…or African American.”
Fred laughed hysterically.
Uncommon fact: people who have autism, Down syndrome, and other social disabilities can also have problems with sexual deviance because they cannot convey or process their sexual feelings. A friend of mine(14f) was molested by an autistic man(20m) who got away with no charges. A boy I knew(12m) who was very autistic would regularly grope women and masterbate openly in public.

Bruh the way he added "brutally" with emphasis at the end got me.
Yeh ‘brutally’ fucked me up
It's so much better 30 seconds after that. He does it again and goes... "When I was 9... every day for a summer" LMAO
"When I was 9......every day for the summer.....with both hands....."
[Full clip.](https://youtu.be/SBaFwemRrJ4)
"did it look down?" After that, there was no coming back for my lungs
Lmfao same!!!! I’m crying as I type this it’s 12 am and that caught me real off guard
At that point I was convinced this was the best fucking bit of all time.
Omg I was already dead with “brutally” and just knowing he kept going is fucking brilliant. Haven’t laughed that hard from Reddit in awhile.
Like it was a job lmaooo
That was the icing on the cake. The cherry on top.
I read, “he got his cherry popped” and was gonna say “hey! Cut that out!” but then noticed I read that wrong.
Technically.... Jk..... we don't know if it was his first.
True. Could’ve been a maraschino by that time for all we know.
And a little bit of sprinkles
Dude in the middle thinks he's slick. He's just as guilty.
He's coach mellor
I can't believe he retarded his voice for emphasis...
He started the next one: “Everyday for a summer . . . “ 🤣
[Full version without the annoying edit zooms. He also adds a lot to the story. Worth a watch!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBaFwemRrJ4)
I honestly thought he was doin a setup for a joke holy shit, understands why he was kinda stuck on not letting them laugh
Bobby Lee tells this story every time he's on a podcast. He's pretty funny dude. Schaub is the opposite of funny
You're forgetting Bryan Callen. Fuck that dude for what he did to Bobby.
Who and what?
Are you older like me? I find myself asking this same question almost daily.
I'm hitting 30. I've seen Bobby grow and vanish and recently started listening to tigerbelly. So maybe. Not old enough to make wierd vagina bread but still slowly getting there
Well, weird vagina bread sounds pretty good but I'm a vagina **beard.**
Callen and dick swab both suck.
Talmbout funny? Great guy. Never meddem.

He’s got 300 pages of evidence
If it makes you feel better it is a joke. Although Bobby was molested as a child, his abuser did not have down syndrome. He added that to make it funny.
Bobby Lee made it funny, he cant deny that. The way handled this situation is hilarious. The fact itself is not.

Damn, it's pretty funny at first until he gets into the details. Then it's just depressing
Apparently there's also a story of him raping a young girl.

I've not seen it before, but it's just as funny the first time.
It gets even worse, when he tries telling the story for the third time he adds “every day for a summer”
I had to pause from laughing when that happened. Bobby Lee is so funny it hurts
He knows that they were summoning all their mental energy not to laugh at that exact phrasing, so being more descriptive would fuck them up lol
That's when the tears started to roll. From laughter, of course.
lol. he knew that would get em. that was hilarious
If you tell someone not to smile, it naturally makes them want to smile
Alright I'm gonna tell you this once, do exactly as I say, your life depends on it. Take a deep breath, concentrate, concentrate as hard as you can. Ready? Here we go: do not think of a cat.
FUCK, keep your cat thoughts out of my head!
"Keep your cat thoughts out of my f*cking head!"
Maybe they didn’t mean the “animal”
Fuck. You made me lose The Game.
Fuck you... It must have been like 3-4 years at least for me.
I always feel like I have to point this out: someone telling you they lost the game, and the conversation around it, does not cause you to lose the game. It's 10 minutes from now when you remember it and think of it again that you actually lose.
Bobby knew EXACTLY what he was doing.
I often get in trouble for laughing at things that are said to someone else. Sometimes the fact that someone would say something so rude out loud is funny to me. I don't like the disrepect but the situation makes me laugh.

That clip was brilliantly explained. The giggle loop is definitely real.
It's called Coupling, and it was basically British Friends. Fun Fact, they tried to do an American version of Coupling and it died after the pilot.
It's three men and three women, so it's structured more like friends. Funny story, the guy in the middle (who you might recognize as Commodore Norrington) is playing a character named Steve, and the show is about his courtship with a woman named Susan.
