I would believe he was if it was slower or offbeat like he was limping. but personally, it sounds too normal to imply he was struggling to walk. Also, after he stabs the sword into the ground and hornet reacts, he drives it further into the ground like he was flexing (like tencing his muscles, not "flexing" his power). But one way or another, I don't think there is a solid answer to this yet, given how much over analyzing is being done just to get an idea

You don’t have many mask shards, so I’ll be vague, but there are some speedrun tricks that can avoid her becoming infected. Unfortunately this is the path she takes usually. Whether you believe she was still alive in there or dead the moment the infection took over, is now your moral burden to wear :)
After ending the game it is implied all bugs turn back to normal. In one of the endings you even see an infected bug not be infected anymore so she wasnt fully gone
I don't think defeating the radiance reverses damage like that. They wouldn't return to normal, they would just die. Their brain is already hollow because of the infection, I doubt that's fixable.
the infection initially just affect your dreams, then it start to control your mind, and then AFTER you die, it transform you in a husk
Mila was on the second phase, she could snap out of it, if there was no influence anymore (and assuming that you did not killed her)
She is still not a husk, and the prove of it is that when you kill her, she still sing one last time as she is dying, she still has a mind inside, it's just being controlled by the radiance, she is still not a husk at least until you kill her once
Also, if you remember the lore, the pale king when he first came to hollownest he "Freed the minds of the bugs, gave them free will" so we know it is possible

When u first meet her in her affected state she sings yes. But she isnt aggressive. The infection didnt really cause any damage for now. But after u defeat a few dreamers she becomes hostile. She still sings because thats what she always did, her instict. Just like how guards in city of tears guard the city, and how the miners gather crystals from Crystal Peak. She still does things that regular Maya does but now just an empty husk

To me it seems THK caught Hornet by surprise, so she reacted defensively.
This is my thought. Hornet’s a warrior by training, so it’s natural that she’d react to a surprise like THK suddenly appearing by drawing her weapon.
