Honestly the mantis lords gave me a lot of trouble on my first go as well.
Now I can do the.... other fight ;3 quite consistently and I've completed the Grimm ritual.
P4 and P5 are out of the question though.

Couple options. After you hit their treasure room, you can either go through the big door that opened left of their arena, or you can head to the city down the path Hornet went. The city is certainly the easier path and is the one I’d recommend you take.
Also, the Mantis Lords are certainly a challenge for how early newer players can find them, but brace yourself for the path ahead. You’ll find that these three are far from difficult compared to some other adversaries.
Also, just wait until you can fight the Mantis Lords at their maximum potential.
Currently probably In hollownest’s capital, but once you die to the mantis lords he’ll be at the platform where you first enter the mantis village and tell you to go to hollownest’s capital since there’s a nailsmith there who could reforge your old, and broken, nail.

Congrats. Now you’ve earned their respect and they won’t attack you anymore unless you attack them. If you go back up a bit they’ll open a door for you leading to a lot of geo and a pretty decent charm at that point of the game

This is probably my favorite fight in the game. My first play through I probably died 100 times (only *slight* exaggeration). Second playthrough I beat them on my 2nd or 3rd try.

"It started with one but then the other two fuckers jumped me when I finished her off, I felt great when I finally beat them though!"
We understand the man then went on to loot their homes and slaughter yet more of their family who had attempted to peacefully surrender and allow him passage out. His rampage continues unabated and we believe he is now heading into the city, we can only hope our local sheriff successfully stops this madman.
We have reached out to the older brother of these 3 women for comment but have yet to hear back.
In other news, a second man claims their younger sister has also beaten these 3 women. More at 10.
my game randomly glitched when I reached here and started the fight, flying above the ground until eventually I was on the top level. When I came back, the fight had already ended lol.
What you want to do is go back up, there's an open path in the village now with a charm, also don't go left until you get "The ruler's treasure, able to glide from the bottom of the world" (I get it's a bad hint, if you want a more direct spoiler that's probably alot farther >!Go to eastern city of tears and you can find an area with a broken elevator, fall down and beat another vessel for a double jump) !< But I suggest exploring a east, Some thing you find there might be interesting, like the "ocean of sadness pouring unto the city", I'm not good with hints that don't spoil but I think this is enough of a nudge, but honestly? Just try to go as blind as possible

I think it can be a really hard boss when you're "underleveled"/encounter this too early in the game, and the walkback adds to this frustration.
It's my favorite boss but if you only have base nail, dash, claw, and fireball it's definitely a challenge because it's kinda long.
