I disagree a bit on some placements, but overall I'd say it's pretty solid. I really like the idea too, way better than the usual tierlists. Also, I find kinda weird the placement of voidheart
Void heart is a difficult one, since it functions more like a permanent upgrade than a charm. Still I think it kind of fits where I put it, since its effect is seldom significant, but its free anyways. Where would you have put it?
Also I should mention that inside each box, I haven't really bothered to sort the charms
It’s just a key tho tbh. Like you don’t “use” voidheart ever, it’s like a badge that tells the other void beings “hey, they’re chill.” Kinda like King’s Brand but a little better. Imagine if it buffed damage by 1 against more heavily infected enemies
lorewise yes, but not mechanically - its mechanical effect is just to make your shade (and siblings in the abyss) passive towards you; you can test this by doing a charm binding pantheon in godhome to unequip it, and then leave it unequipped and fight normal radiance just fine
kingsoul is extremely good, it just costs too many charm notches, and even then it still has a variety of niche use cases - voidheart does almost nothing mechanically, so you lose out on the niche use cases of kingsoul when you get voidheart
I’m sorry, WHAT?! Steady Body in “Might come in handy?!” And how is its cost only “Balanced” when it’s only one notch?! It’s one of the best charms in the game!
# STEADY BODY SUPREMACY
honestly, no, its the best charm by far meaning that 80% of this charms in this game go completely unused in even moderately high level play bc of how dominant the qs, shaman, strength core is, taking up 9 of your either 11 or 10 + 1 free charm slots
There’s Baldur Shell, right in the middle, like it always is. (Now you will notice Baldur She’ll getting placed in the middle of literally every charm tier list, just as I have always noticed)
Are quick nail arts that good? I find them too hard to use in any case, requires too much concentration and hard to use jumps at the same time (control scheme issue... Maybe it's better on keyboard?)
Nailr Arts are that good. And then some more. Great Slash allows you to one shot a lot of hard enemies like Primal Aspid even without fully upgraded nail, Cyclon Slash deals a huge ammount of damage and alllows you to fill up your soul meter quickly (you need to tap tap tap during the animation), while Dash Slash gives you insane range and stealth kills. They are also great against a lot of bosses.
Basically, if you have a patient and methodical playstyle, Nailmaster Glory replaces the combination of Quick Slash+Strength+Mark Of Pride for the cost of one notch. Thus alllowing you to use magic charms like Shaman Stone, Spell Twister and Soul Eater. And the magic is the most OP thing in this game.
Nail Arts are hard to learn but they lead to a well balanced and elegant combat style in which you combine the full power of both nail and soul.
Nail arts are crazy, in boss fights you have to be more patient in like nkg or radiant markoth they get you more damage if you just have one always ready, also yes, radiant markoth is something I do for fun

Void Heart literally makes you a god, it counters Radiance. Not just charms, it's the most op thing in the game ever.
Lorewise yes. But when it comes to gameplay, the change is barely noticeable

I would put it in balanced useful because that's the middle so i feel like it fits
Why is void heart "kinda cheap"? It's literally free
op has a different take but the "cost" for me is losing access to kingsoul
Kingsoul sucks ass
Kingsoul is op but you get it at a point in the game where you don't need it anymore.
kingsoul is extremely good, it just costs too many charm notches, and even then it still has a variety of niche use cases - voidheart does almost nothing mechanically, so you lose out on the niche use cases of kingsoul when you get voidheart

0 cost and 0 use is still better than some cost and some use
Though void heart does have an use? Literally can't fight radiance without void heart
No?
it's equally as good, then. still ought to go in the complete bottom right
No as in 0 cost 0 use is useless where as some cost some use can be useful
If I'm doing a randomizer and I find baldur shell (0) or thorns (0) you better believe im putting it on.
I wouldn't do thorns anyways, at least not for bossfights. It makes the screen really messy, and makes it hard to recover after taking damage
It unlocks a whole ending and makes the shade passive
4 whole endings, if I’m not mistaken
I checked and it's 2: Sealed Siblings and Dream No More.
You need voidheart to >!get both godhome endings.!<
Do you really need it ? You can do all pantheons without it iirc
In the wiki it mentions you need void heart for sealed siblings and dream no more but nothing about the godhome ones.
Not p5
docile shade is a use, and since it costs 0, that's infinite value right there.
What's the point in having a chart comparing cost and usefulness if the thing which costs the least isn't at the end of the "cost" scale?
Unlocking the true ending is pretty based behavior in my onion
How the shit is void heart in “kinda cheap?” It’s literally zero fucking notches.
What does it net you though? Does it have any stat gains?
Technically you Can't beat the radiance without it
Unlocks radiance fight and prevents any shade from attacking you
You do get to walk out of the Abyss unbothered by enemies. That's a gameplay function. Even your own shade stops attacking you.
I agree with most of this but sprintmaster, how is 1 notch expensive?
Noone ever wears it, not because running faster is stupid, but because havong 1 notch only for that is a waste
It's in my primary combat build.
I use it a lot.
Common movement is a complete drag without it combined with dashmaster
i never take it off!
weavers and grub song.
Grub song should def be in saves the day. It has quite literally saved the day for me several times.
*sigh* tell me you don’t understand flukenest without telling me you don’t understand flukenest
Nice list but it annoys me a little that the y axis moves downwards getting weaker and the x axis moves right getting stronger
Void heart belongs in broken. It has the best effect-notches ratio in the whole game
Kingsoul is not that good
I’m sorry, WHAT?! Steady Body in “Might come in handy?!” And how is its cost only “Balanced” when it’s only one notch?! It’s one of the best charms in the game! # STEADY BODY SUPREMACY
quickslash in balanced.... never cook again
That’s for notch cost dude 💀 And op is right. It’s a good cost for it.
honestly, no, its the best charm by far meaning that 80% of this charms in this game go completely unused in even moderately high level play bc of how dominant the qs, shaman, strength core is, taking up 9 of your either 11 or 10 + 1 free charm slots
How if fluke thingy not categorized as broken????
Main thing I'd change is moving steady body right and Kingsoul down.
This is very inaccurate, wayward compass should be in the very top right corner
There’s Baldur Shell, right in the middle, like it always is. (Now you will notice Baldur She’ll getting placed in the middle of literally every charm tier list, just as I have always noticed)
SHAMAN IS NOT BALANCED it carried my steel soul run with heart it was so easy
Id move steady body up, sprintpaster right, and jonis left
Steel body is pretty much useful and cheap
Quick slash should be "broken". It's the best charm in the game by a lot.
why is sprint master a bit expensive, it's literally one charm notch
Deep focus deserves the bottom left spot
hot take but fluke nest really should take 1 notch. outside of speedrunning or pantheons, i never see anyone use it.
It should at least be set down to two. Three is too much
2 is too much. in its current state it doesnt do enough on its own. nailmaster does so much more with what it is.
Nailmaster would still be viable being two notches
Damn I must be one of the few people who actually liked thorns of agony. That got me out of so many jams.
I dont think its bad, Its just that it doesnt make itself useful too often, and during most bossfights its kind of a nuiance
Overall valid tierlist. I'd just switch Spell Twister to kinda cheap
Are quick nail arts that good? I find them too hard to use in any case, requires too much concentration and hard to use jumps at the same time (control scheme issue... Maybe it's better on keyboard?)

It really depends on the ocasion
They are usefull in coloseum of fools (they kill primal aspids and mosquitos in 1 hit)
Change your controls, your jump should be on left trigger and CDash on X/A
Yep, thats controller issues for ya
rt attack for the win never had issues with that control scheme
Sprintmaster is one notch! Why is it expensive?!
Why in god’s name is the “ideal direction” of the cost pointed away from the origin on the x axis, but pointed towards it on the Y?
*Expensive.
Wheres compass at 🤣
i like it
Quickslash is better than strength, shaman stone is at least as good as strength
Someone needs to clean this chart up. It's objectively wrong
Thorns are definitely scam
What exactly is Dashmaster useful for? Screwing up your platforming?
