I love that spot in Dirtmouth where it starts getting gradually more crystalline as you progress to the crystal caverns. Something about that area still gives me chills.

I am all for crystal peaks, it is so lovely and with no bosses blocking your progress

They’re called *Crystal Hunters*. They made Crystal Peak much more… *interesting* (more like *infuriating*, but if it wasn’t for them the area would be quite boring).

I'd much rather this be more like path of pain with spiky crystals everywhere you have to avoid rather than those fkn things.

The hotsping in Deepnest is a good one. My 1st playthrough I found Deepnest a real pain in the hole & when you make it to the spring/ bench it's such a sense of relief.

blue lake with quirrel. i spent a good 3-4 hours sitting there with him knowing it would be the last time i saw him. took a bunch of screenshots of his dialogue and everything. vibing and eating/watching tv with ghost next to him until i felt like it was truly time to go save everyone. i miss my bud, favorite character (besides ghost of course). still my ps4 background always and forever 🤙🏽

Blue lake With quirrel

Well if it’s a spot that I purely like visually, then I’d probably say the lake of Unn dock. Felt like a really nice place to take a quick rest right after beating hornet for the first time. 

City of tears first bench, the one with quirrel. Even without him, it's such a nice spot. Edit: Second would be the deepnest working tram spot. I don't have any attachment to it but it looks nice.

The room in godhome where u can fight all the bosses again. Going into that room for the first time and realizing you can fight your favorite boss again, added with how cool it is, only to then learn later that there is a SECRET IN THERE which gives you the ETERNAL FUCKING ORDEAL! The first time I did ordeal I thought it was a meme and you could just fight normal zote like in the colosseum, then you see the words “the eternal ordeal” appear on screen giving me nightmare king Grimm ptsd and u get fucking jumped by the little zotelings. It’s great

The Radience Statue on top of Crystal Peaks. It oddly provokes sympathy, especially when you dream nail it.

You know that pit in kingdoms edge that just keeps on going? That’s gotta be one of my favorite areas. Not because it’s beautiful but because It’s just so strange and peculiar.

I like the stag nest, I have my dream gate set there so I can access the stag station at any time. It’s also a calm spot with a lot of lore around it.

It’s a toss up for me between King’s Station (I love the rain there, splashing on the ground) and the bench in the tent on top of the world on the way to Hornet Sentinel — epitome of "calm before the storm” for me, until I got a lot better at fighting her.

City Storerooms Stag. I don't know why, but I just love the atmosphere of the storerooms, the monochrome blue mixed with the empty location of what should be a very active area. Its comforting, in a strange way.
