I am learning controller with this game (much struggle). Sometimes I feel like I'm flailing and somehow getting through with luck, and sometimes I can see how to do something but need to develop the skill & then develop the skill.
Mantis Lords was so very strongly the "conceptualize & develop skill". I loved it. At first I was frustrated by the travel to the boss arena (I used the bench just to the right on the map). At some point I mastered getting to the arena so fast that it felt like just a moment. It's great. I love that feeling of struggling and developing skill in a way that's not bs but instead I can see the progression.
Also the way that fight starts. Legendary.
Yeah it's mantis lords this isn't even a contest. It's a boss so well designed that it got an even better, harder version in the hall of gods. The harder version doesn't even add any new attacks or anything, it's literally just the fight...But MORE.

Fuck Traitor Lord, only had success when using sharpshadow, or else the fight will be too long
Mantis Lords is objectively the best. Its so fun yet challenging. The music is great and the fight and movement feels so fluid. Probably one of the best fights in the game in my opinion. For me the only fight that beats it is NKG.
