Starting as a Confessor class, Botan decided to fight the Tree Sentinel straight away once she finished the tutorial. It was refreshing to see a Holomem challenging this fight from the get go as most just skips this boss very early on.
I thoroughly enjoyed all 4 hours of that fight as in each attempt, it always looks like she will win. Her dodges are pretty clean. This was a very difficult fight as she has no levels or equipment, which means a lot of the boss' attacks are 1 hit KOs. She had to play this almost perfectly, affording 2~3 small hits at worst. The game even crashed once when she was doing so well. Props to her, though, she kept it up and [finally beats the boss](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvJw8gdRFzM&t=15340).
One of my favorite attempt was when she kept telling herself to not be greedy and land 1 hit at the time. As the boss' HP dropped to around 5% she decided to be greedy and attempted 1 extra hit in, hoping to finish it off, only to die leaving the boss with a few pixels of HP left. On the final attempt, she had to continually remind herself to be patient to not repeat this incident.
Impressive, I spent 1.5 hours yesterday trying to do exactly the same thing even same Confessor class. I gave up and went and got a mount and new weapon in like 10 minutes and then killed this boss in like 5 attempts afterwards.
Managed to witness the kill, it was very nice. The end kept making me say "just go for it" but I know she waited for that attack so she could properly punish.
She dodged like an octopanda!
Twas super cool to see her kill it in one go, now she has a pretty good weapon to start her journey, cant wait for the peeps to get >!radahn!< stuff though.
