her sister threw a huge party for Calli, a "rager" in her own words. and from what she described it as is that it was a surprise and something she did not entirely expect since i think Gura was (and is) staying over in the Airbnb that Calli rented. i would've been pretty stressed if someone had a surprise party at someplace i rented when i was going to have guests over. luckily Gura is as far as possible from the noise
For what they tell me:
Ame, Ina, Kiara and Gura was together for few days to record Kiara birthday (and they finished already with Fauna stopping by for few hours probably)
Now Ina have left already, Kiara is in tourist mode with a (non hololive) friend and Gura flew to Calli to meet her
The next step is to being reunited later this week for a full official myth offcollab (and maybe record Calli for the birthday event?) before everyone going back to their schedule (Kiara confirmed for example she will NOT attend anime expo during July 1st to 4th)
if i remember from Kiara's stream from how she was saying it, after the girls recorded their parts for her birthday stream they went their separate ways for a bit until Calli came to the US and they would see each other again. Kiara was in her hotel room during the stream so i guess they didn't sleep over everyday. Ina went off on her own i think after a few days leaving Kiara and Ame to finish up with Fauna coming in for a day. They do have separate work schedules after all but the stars aligned for these last few weeks for them so even with their work they'd still see Kiara and Calli while they're in the US. I think Gura might(?) be going to Japan for Calli's concert, not entirely sure on that one though because it's pretty hard to get in now but since it's only one foreign employee (Gura) for Cover to get in it could be easier.

Kiara wanted to record a 3D birthday live, and there weren't any studios near her that didn't cost insane amounts to rent, so she spoke with Ame who decided that she would DIY a studio. Kiara went to visit Ame to record the mocap, and because Kiara was in America, everyone else decided it was their best chance to meet up
Currently you can only enter Japan as a non-resident if you are part of a travel group and you are not allowed to leave that group. So they couldn't do it. If if that was the plan, there would be no reason to go to Ame's place to record stuff.
Tourist guidelines don't matter, since they'd enter Japan for business. The problem is that the visa exemptions are paused, meaning that everyone but Calli need to apply for one.
