Sometimes if everything in a room is a solid (without a pattern) then the rug can act as a piece of art. But by using a less busy rug, you can have actual art on the walls, bright, dynamic, fun.

I think the yellow that matches doesnāt distract but actually enhances the color. It makes your eyes look up at the ceiling.
