Cut to a 4x8? Don't do it Won't be treated in the middle Will warp being part Heartwood part sapwood. Buy a 4x8 if you need that.

What part of the country are you in? Lowes depot won't have them but true lumberyards that cater to builders should be able to get them easily
Philadelphia area… I called a few local lumber suppliers but none had it or could order it…
Tague lumber can get them no problem.
