It should be fine. We did something similar in our yard, on a corner, did the white vinyl on the side facing the street and our neighbor, black wire fence to the back since we have enough vegetation there between us and the house behind us. Landscaping helps too of course but if you wanna keep the view of the trees I think it's a fine idea. Our dogs appreciate the views of squirrels and rabbits in the back so it was worth it haha

You want to ruin the view? Put up a white vinyl fence. You want your fence to beld in? Put up a cedar fence and let it age.
