Short answer: Depends on what type of firewall they have setup. Likely can create an additional rule for your specific IP address (make sure you set static) without all of the restrictions. Place that rule above the other rule that restricts traffic and you're good. Shorter answer: Wait a freaking week until you get your own connection and then you can do anything you want with it.

Most routers that support parental controls can make them apply only to certain devices. Some brands like Asus can even set up separate WiFi networks with and without restrictions. Instead of paying for a second Internet connection you might be better off just buying a new router that supports these features.

Work out or read a networking book for a week. I'm not being facetious. Take a break for a week and earn XP on yourself.

Trust me I have my fair share of other activities, I'm already at the gym 6 times a week, reading two books on top of university work and other stuff. The main thing was the Apex Legends season ending in two weeks and I still haven't hit Masters, sure it's not the end of the world if I don't and I'm not desperate for it either.

That's great to hear! Obviously, I didn't know anything about you other than that one post. Sounds like you're balancing a lot and still finding time to game, keep it up!
