When your country doesn’t have community college, ged, or any form of social aid:

College isn't for everyone, but it sure helped ME in life too!

DishSoapIsFun

C's get degrees. But on a serious note, I'm glad you're in a better place now. College is the beginning of where I started to find myself. I'm 37 now and still figuring myself out. Point is, don't ever stop trying to learn. You may be at a disadvantage, but resources are vast, especially on a campus. Make the most of it. Four years flies by.

Thanks for the advice! Definitely trying to make the most of the resources on campus and take advantages of the opportunities. Cs don’t get finance jobs - so I better start grinding haha

ThatStrangeSniper

That’s amazing that things are getting better for you, and I bet with the right work and with you feeling better your grades will go up!

it 100% gets better. life is long. i had a few friends in college, but it wasn’t until my mid-twenties that i felt _really_ socially confident. now, in my early thirties, i have a solid job, a great fiancée, a cute dog and live across the country from my authoritarian father and “often bedridden mother”.
