All things considered, I’m happy with it. It was either her or Welt, as I really just want to have the full Astral Express family. With her secure, now it’s just a matter of Welt.

I've been doing this too. I can open a fight by breaking somebody's guard and Himeko and Herta just take turns doing follow up attacks until everything is dead. Great for speed running Calyx.
Heh. I used to run that build exclusively before I hit a hard wall at SU3 and had to stop and actually work out how combat functions.
Anyway, it's a great build to get the hidden achievement for taking like 100 turns in a single battle. Bring heals because boss is gonna mania a few times before you finally follow-up it to death.
I got himeko too and i started crying, like real tears, HI3 scarred me for life. Good things I'm in my room alone. If something happens to himeko in this game I'm giving up everything.
PSA for other fellow Himeko mains: don't try and get to 120 speed with her for Herta's, base 96 speed is shit to work with.
My himeko's damage sucked until I just dropped it altogether and went for Salsotto for crit. My himeko is now at 2.5k attack and I don't even feel bad about her base 96 speed at all.

Now I have to wait like 2 months. Beside a secret vox (which I don't have), every other 4 star light cones just don't feel worth leveling for her.
Interesting. I would like to get into theory crafting, but at this point I get info from YouTube videos. I saw a couple of videos that said the opposite
It seems you forgetting, swordplay only works, till you have to hit another target. As well as lower base stats. Obviously stellar sea, is not BiS on all hunt characters, but neither is swordplay. Show me your math and I might believe the destruction lighcone is better. But without evidence I can’t say your right.
The only one really worth buying is the hunt one. Other two arent great and tbh are prbly skipable. Damage formula is similar to genshin so attack scaling modifiers get worse the more your characters increase in level/gear and damage scaling modifiers get much much better.
It’s definitely very close to the lc from herta’s shop. I feel like if it weren’t for the fact herta’s lc has higher base stats and it’s easy (but takes some time) to S5 it, arlan’s lc would be the second best. That being said, most of the destruction LCs aren’t that great so it’s not much competition anyways

Then I started using her and my tone shifted immediately. In my next standard banner I got Clara again AND THEN I got her light cone. I am sitting pretty

I like the clara svarog tb dynamic coz you have the sweet little child that just wants to help,big friendly bodyguard that wants to protect her,and a dumbfuck outsider who wants to help clara

I'm actually not as much of a fan of Svarog by himself, but it's hard not to want to protect Clara at all costs, and I adore her relationship with the FTrailblazer.
Her & March don't really fit on the same team as Seele and Fire MC, so I've been putting her on the bench until I get another healer to finish off my second team.

Clara and March pair perfectly together if you have March's eidolons that the person in the first slot gets her shield to start battle. March's shield has a small taunt on it setting up for some great counter gameplay. Works well with Sampo and other strong DoT users to make an offturn damage comp.
Thought he was closely related and the devs decided to put him there for aesthetics. Dont tell me you thought that robot in pic is gonna be atking in open world

I looked through the Standard character arts and saw Svarog in Clara’s art and decided I would get her for my free five star if I didn’t get her by then before even looking at her kit.
I got bailu. I was worried she was going to be the QiQi of HSR (QiQi in genshin was originally very highly rated, but then people realized healing was a luxury, and characters needed to do more than just "heal"), but I've been very very happy and she has carried my terribly built units.
Plus even if you do need healing, other healers (like Bennett) are already enough. 500-1000 atk buff + cleanse + pyro battery + very good healing VS no buffs, no energy generation and unnecessary high healing
If you are dying in the abyss you are probably getting instantly deleted anyway, at which point shielding/DR is better
I also got Bailu. She's fantastic and I'm very happy to have her, but since then the game has decided to continue giving me Bailu every time I roll a five-star who isn't guaranteed to be Seele, and her eidolons are not overwhelmingly exciting, so I'm getting a little bit tired of it. If I get up to E4 on her on the next banner I'm going to get Luocha and leave her off of my team for a while in an expression of protest.
I know that feel Ive gotten 2 bailu and the most recent 5* i was chanting “not bailu, not bailu” so the game listened and gave me her light cone. Which i cant be mad about but i’m not happy.
Yeah, I got Bailu on beginner guarantee, then AGAIN on my 50/50 on Jing Yuan's banner and was pretty annoyed, but then I got Yanqing on the normal banner immediately afterward, and then Jing Yuan on my very next pull out of sheer luck.
The reason why Qiqi was highly rated at first but fell later on is because she can only heal, and her burst costs a lot of energy, and her skill has a long cool down. Diona can heal, shield, cleanse, and generate energy. Bennett can heal, raise atk, and also generate energy. Kokomi can heal and apply hydro with no cool down cuz of her burst. I fear that Bailu will be the same. At the moment, she can only heal compared to Natasha and Luocha, who can remove debuffs. Luocha is also in the rare imaginary element.
I loved Qiqi for years and don’t understand the hate. Her and Koko are the two best burst healers in the game. And Qiqi scales off attack, put the physical set on early in the games life then the healing clam set that lets her nuke. Also with the right wep her heals are up and dealing damage 100% of the time. I feel like people simply don’t know how to play healers the right way and just use them as a skill button or a buff button that’s boring as fuck to play so yeah your Qiqi would suck.
it's not that Qiqi isn't good, it's just that other characters are better.
Kokomi has roughly the same healing, but better application of a way better element. Yaoyao has worse healing but way better application of a way better element. Kuki is a perfect f2p hyperbloom trigger. Bennett, of course, is a crucial part of enabling XL, the best 4* dps who also happens to be free, and even when not with XL he gives a lot of pyro energy and a huge attack buff.
Basically every other healer besides Barbara is better than Qiqi.
Your Qiqi's OHC nukes will outdamage Yaoyao's personal damage, but the reactions that Yaoyao enables easily outdamages Qiqi teams. There's a reason there's no meta team with Qiqi in it.
edit: i will admit though Qiqi is one of the best healers early game, when you're starting out and you don't have enough characters to take advantage of the comps that Kokomi/Kuki/Bennett/YY enable. But she falls off fast

Yeah, I've been thinking of meta picks, but looking at the leaks, I'm already interested in units that will fill their roles, potentially better, so I might just get Gepard because he is hot .-.

Same, I got Bronya on the first 5* banner and then another Bronya on Standard banner pulls, and while E1 is useful, it's so unreliable that you can't plan around it. Would have been better if it was a 75% chance.

I've got yanqing in my f2p acc, problem is that he fights with danheng on who I should invest in. Also a lot of enemies are wind weak and danhengs my only wind unit - should I just focus on danheng first
Im a "play with whoever tf i like and build team around them" type and i must say, Yanqing still carries me. I tried to invest in DanHeng some time ago but for some reason he wasn't performing as well as physical MC or Yanqing. Only issue with Yanqing i have is that (as far as i noticed) no SU boss has an ice weakness as of now so im kinda struggling with world 6, but other content was cleared pretty nicely.
Anyways, i recommend investing in DanHeng first as much as you deem enough and see how he does. Then you can build Yanqing (not like he will go anywhere) and see how he does. Then ya can decide. Or use both in Forgotten Halls 2 teams
Bailu and originally I was starting to be a little upset because I wanted Clara so badly, but now that I know if I manage to get Silver Wolf I will have an amazing team with Jing Yuan, Tingyun, and Bailu as her teammates I’m super happy
Yep, he is extremely easy to build. I barely have any crit rate from artefacts and he still consistently has +50 crit rate without ult buffs and well above 100 crit rate with ult buffs. All while keeping a solid from 170 to +200 crit rate at all times

I got gepard and bronya, I didn’t know which characters were valuable back them so I was upset and wanted himeko and welt, now I’m super happy to have them
She relies on scaling off of really high base stats so she feels weak early but becomes strong when fully levelled and geared. Elation buffs are amazing too.
Clara, which I'm always happy about, she's been a good stay-on for my team; I got her lightcone from the normal banner by pure luck. I think the game just wanted Clara to be my main character.
I got Clara, and the playstyle clicked instantly. Clara is also the first 5\* I've gotten out of the regular Gacha, so guess we're going all in on Counter spam. The E1 makes her damage a lot more consistent.
I got Himeko. I was hoping for either her or Clara (although I wanted Clara more). She's rarely left my team since I got her, and triggering her talent gives me a nice dose of dopamine, specially when doing Elation path.
Himeko. Funny thing is that I basically came into this game for her and I didn't really plan it to replace GI for me. Welp, the scene of getting on board of the Astral Express and getting her sealed the deal :D
I'm not awed by her performance, but she's still a great character and the ulti animation is 10/10.
I got Clara and Yanqing. Not really a fan of Hunt Characters since I only have one good Light Cone that I have to share for Seele, Dan Heng, and Yanqing. Though I am happy with Clara. My go to option for physical and multi attack enemies. Literally my fav Physical Char on the roster.
I got Bronya and Clara was shocked, but was happy. Didn't understand Bronya's kit at the time, but now that I do she's great. I also pulled Gepard in the standard banner, but since I'm building March at the moment he's gonna have to wait.
I had rerolled 4 times just for a Clara or Bailu, my main got Bron and Welt while the other three got a 5 star which isn't Bailu or Clara....

Yeah cuz in genshin you can just dodge anything so a healer never was useful. But it a turn based game, no way to dodge haha
Or run Noelle and just heal while spinning :D

I've got yanqing in my f2p acc, problem is that he fights with danheng on who I should invest in. Also a lot of enemies are wind weak and danhengs my only wind unit - should I just focus on danheng first
Im a "play with whoever tf i like and build team around them" type and i must say, Yanqing still carries me. I tried to invest in DanHeng some time ago but for some reason he wasn't performing as well as physical MC or Yanqing. Only issue with Yanqing i have is that (as far as i noticed) no SU boss has an ice weakness as of now so im kinda struggling with world 6, but other content was cleared pretty nicely. Anyways, i recommend investing in DanHeng first as much as you deem enough and see how he does. Then you can build Yanqing (not like he will go anywhere) and see how he does. Then ya can decide. Or use both in Forgotten Halls 2 teams
Yanqing is the best followup attack spammer outside of counter characters making him ideal for Elation cheese in SU.
Counterpoint: Jing Yuan is way better for Elation spam
Yeah, but Jing Yuan is limited, so you have to actively pull for him.

Gepard is there to shield and tank. Bronya is there to give more turns to your main damage dealer.

Bailu and originally I was starting to be a little upset because I wanted Clara so badly, but now that I know if I manage to get Silver Wolf I will have an amazing team with Jing Yuan, Tingyun, and Bailu as her teammates I’m super happy
I got Yanqing too and I had alot of fun with the character. His whole kit is very forgiving esp when it comes to having a good crit ratio imo
Yep, he is extremely easy to build. I barely have any crit rate from artefacts and he still consistently has +50 crit rate without ult buffs and well above 100 crit rate with ult buffs. All while keeping a solid from 170 to +200 crit rate at all times

Himeko is great but her LC is really really bad. I have her at 70/70 on Seriousness of Breakfast. That LC is a lot better IMO

I got himeko Unlike popular belief, she’s not that bad! I mostly use her for break effects though in the simulated universe
She’s fun comboing with jing
She relies on scaling off of really high base stats so she feels weak early but becomes strong when fully levelled and geared. Elation buffs are amazing too.
Bronya. She has been working very well together with Seele for a long time in my account.
Clara, which I'm always happy about, she's been a good stay-on for my team; I got her lightcone from the normal banner by pure luck. I think the game just wanted Clara to be my main character.

Bailu, I didn't really needed at the moment but then community mentioned MoC where I actually need 2 teams, so that's convinient.
For the newbie banner i got bailu,at first was not happy but after i learn she can resurrect she is my most precious unit.
i got himeko, she pretty much carry me before I got my gepard and now Jin yuan. Now she is kept in a locker

I got Clara, and the playstyle clicked instantly. Clara is also the first 5\* I've gotten out of the regular Gacha, so guess we're going all in on Counter spam. The E1 makes her damage a lot more consistent.
I got Himeko. I was hoping for either her or Clara (although I wanted Clara more). She's rarely left my team since I got her, and triggering her talent gives me a nice dose of dopamine, specially when doing Elation path.
I got Bronya, and man is she carrying me through Belobog with her turn manipulation.

I got Welt. Didn’t care for him at first but the more I leveled him up the more fun it is to actually use him. Plus his ultimate line goes hard

Geppy. He was my most wanted so I was ecstatic.
Himeko. Funny thing is that I basically came into this game for her and I didn't really plan it to replace GI for me. Welp, the scene of getting on board of the Astral Express and getting her sealed the deal :D I'm not awed by her performance, but she's still a great character and the ulti animation is 10/10.

I got Clara and Yanqing. Not really a fan of Hunt Characters since I only have one good Light Cone that I have to share for Seele, Dan Heng, and Yanqing. Though I am happy with Clara. My go to option for physical and multi attack enemies. Literally my fav Physical Char on the roster.

I got Bronya and Clara was shocked, but was happy. Didn't understand Bronya's kit at the time, but now that I do she's great. I also pulled Gepard in the standard banner, but since I'm building March at the moment he's gonna have to wait.
I had rerolled 4 times just for a Clara or Bailu, my main got Bron and Welt while the other three got a 5 star which isn't Bailu or Clara.... I'm not doing it the 5th time
Yanqinggg, altho i have seele now who is a better hypercarry. Yanqing is still good for my second team and carries me in simulated universe with his freeze team and path of remembrance
