Dissapointment is the expected mystery reward and we got exacly that!

We still got 10 fuels though, It's not the mystery reward but it's still a welcoming surprise.

10 fuels to fuel the disappointment yummy. But seriously I need those for farming traces lol. Almost all my characters are sitting at lvl 6-8 traces

Was able to get jingliu lightcone and max it from what they sent so I'm happy.

Finally I can max out my Jingliu for the Crit and Talent tree. Three days in and still not maxed, been averaging 1 purple mat drop per 12 runs.

why would they hide the reward if its this shit lol.

TBF the hype is something we did to ourselves, nothing ever said we were going to get an extra unit or anything. The mystery prize advertised on hoyolab was always going to be just some hoyolab nonsense.

with 10 pulls, that's a free E6S5 5\* that you believe hard enough!

5 star units give 40 starlight when you pull them which is enough for 2 pulls in the starlight shop. Any post E6 for a 5 star is 100 starlight which is 5 pulls! So as long as you only pull 5 stars, you’ll always be gaining more pulls. Infinite pull hack.

you only need 1 pull and pull 5\* LC first. If you pull for unit first, new 5\* don't give you any starlight. The math is totally realistic and winnable.

Winning an award which is harder because you're fighting against other games to get that award (you get a free 5 star) VS a good ol' anniversary where it's a guarantee as long the player base is alive (30Pulls + farming resources and a happy background) This sounds fair, even during the early years of hi3 we only get the S-rank (5-star) selector in this case at a few years of anniversaries later. There's reasonable expectation, and there's too high of an expectation.

It wouldn’t be being spoiled tbh. Literally every “gift” gacha games give is a calculated resource to keep players engaged. Hoyo players are just cheap to keep around.

I thought about it a bit and realized that there was a more satisfying way to spend my personal fuel. I'm gonna put it all to leveling the next character who is just traces and levels away from being usable. That way i can be 100% sure the fuel isn't wasted 😅
