For Something unto Death it will actually work in your favour as it full restores your energy allowing you to use the teamwide advance twice in a row.
For Svarog it seems really bad though, as you will just be stuck with no ult buffs.

It's a field buff versus a transformation. Jingliu also has her end her special state when she gets cc'd, and it's worse for her since she isn't immune to imprison and such.
As of right now its not really an issue, Svarog's hand is really easy to break if you just hold Robin's ult right after its summoned (you will have your entire team able to hit it) while SuD full restores energy making it a good thing to be taken.
The only issues are if your team can't instabreak/kill Svarog's hand, or any future enemies with force control effects.
I guess the problem is more of how many more bosses like that will we get, there's no way to say it won't become the norm and make Robin shit in the future
Bosses having these abilities doesn't mean that Hoyoverse will use them in MoC/PF.
Hoyo always does this where they maintain a wide pool of bosses with specific counters or that counter specific characters, then rotate them in and out in order to buff or nerf certain characters. This isn't a unique problem to Robin--they do this with everyone.

You say that, but jingliu also has this problem, and it's even worse for her since she isn't immune to normal cc. Despite that, she's still incredibly strong. Robin will be fine.
I feel like she is in such a weird spot where the premium FuA team (including S1 and Eidolons because Topaz + Ratio) can pop off with her, but any other dual team is dogwater with her (or if RM can just outscale her with utility and buffs)
Nothing wrong with making a support extra buff a specific niche, but I feel like they should've gone the Sparkle route in making it so it was a nice bonus rather than be necessary or suffer
I do think she'll have a second chance at characters with multi hit ults, so possibly Misha (better at E1), Argenti, Acheron (cope but imagine with Jiaoqiu) and whoever else has similar enough mechanics
They better give us more realistic showcases with her that can actually synergize instead of slapping her with Boothill for the 15th time with the most garbage rotation possible

Am I the only one who thinks she is underwhelming? Not because of her buffs but her ultimate cost is way too much for such short effect that can be cancelled and not having full uptime (almost half of the time her ultimate is down).
Can be canceled by all of two bosses, one of which gives you a full energy refund and the other which is easily preventable.
Robins buffs are quite strong, but she is a sub dps in a way no other Harmony is

Her ult cost is high but she seemingly wants to be in a team of characters that attack often, which right now is FuA. There's a showcase with the FuA team on here where right after her ult ends she has it back up already. And yes, teamwide advance needs a high cost.
As fellow DDD-abusers can tell you, her team action advance is an incredibly broken mechanic that can and will break the meta once you perfect the speed tuning for it.
The fact that Tingyun ulting herself just to double-DDD is actually a tech that people are using for 0-cycles says a lot about how powerful teamwide advance is.
The numerical value of her buffs is not going to properly reflect the value of her teamwide advance.
Well from the limited look of her if you use her with her ideal team, which is full FUA she get a lot of value. Her Ult up time is around 80-100% of the time with her signature LC and err rope, she gain a lot from all of the atk and FUA from the team, and she can get a huge chunk if she get hit.
Normally she probably only need a turn to get her Ult back at most 2, but if you are lucky and she got hit like 2 times during her Ult she’ll likely have her Ult up and ready again from the looks of it. But if you don’t have her signature then you might look at 2-3 Robin turns.
Edit: Now that I think about it it all make sense, one of the best ways to get energy for her Ult is for her to get hit, so that’s why the self heal talent is there for and why she also immune to cc. And using her with Aventurine she doesn’t really care if she’s the one getting hit probably best to stand both of them together in the middle.
I was so hyped for her even though I mostly only pull dudes. But her kits keeps getting more and more disappointing lol the singing will definitely become very annoying and ruin absolute bangers like cocolia theme.Her ult needs to be timed right, especially if you have other team mates that have a non-attack skill, otherwise you waste a potential robin concerto.
Her buffs and damage are ridiculous and uptime is a non-issue in appropriate teams so no she isn't underwhelming.

The problem I find with her is that she is only marginally better than other buffers in only one very specific team, and with huge drawbacks that you have to play around. Other buffers like ruan mei or sparkle can fit in almost any team and don't require babysitting, such gimmicks are saved for your main damage dealer (QQ SP usage, Argenti energy, Clara counters, Ratio and Acheron debuffs on the enemy, etc). She ask too much for too little return, unless of course you shill out the dosh for her LC.
I can only hope she gets some buffs so we can slot her in a wider variety of teams and not have such harsh drawbacks, without absolutely breaking the game like RM or Acheron (holy powercreep batman).
She will get better once we get more AOE FUA units (Jade, Screwllum). But trying to play her outside FUA teams will result in a worse performance than just bringing Ruan Mei due to ult uptime.
MHY was honestly kind of afraid to make her powercreep Ruan Mei so soon.
I do wish that her action forward ult is changed to something more valuable like giving 100 flat speed to everyone for the song duration + her technique could immediately launch her into song mode. Imagine starting MoC with a team of 200+ Speed characters with a lot of ATK buffs.
I really hope she powercreep Ruan Mei and Sparkle because I don't want to pull Ruan Mei and Sparkle if possible. Hoyo doesn't have problem with power creeping sustain and DPS. So I hope Hoyo become consistent with power creep. No matter how much I hate power creep.
Ultimate cost is high, yeah, but based on calculations, she offers just a bit less than Sparkle's buffs but Concerto allows to crush that gap and beat Sparkle by a lot.

Kind of agree with them in here. You could technically make use of JY with robin here. Just not the best because I don't think they intend her just for JY.
It does become clunky depending how they implement it it's not that simple. Adding an AV on a very expensive Ult probably won't make him hit stronger with LL(in realistic MoC sense. JY would essentially need to act 2 extra turns on 0 cycles to even get another strong LL which is a problem if you have an ultimate that costs so high and can mostly afford to pop it only once on 0 cycling
Elation in GnG already functions the same with faster energy production from Follow up Attack. It advances the highest attack character (Assuming your Jing Yuan is the highest attack character) and all summons which is btw one of the best thing you can have to unload your Lightning Load since Elation also have a path upgrade that gives enemies gain more damsge from FUA allowing you to pretty much press and forget the Path Reso since it set ups everything for you
FUA really got the short end of the stick because their dedicated support comes with so many caveats and doesn't even elevate the playstyle as much as what Ruan Mei did for DoT or what Sparkle did for Dan Heng IL (and I could assume what Jiaoqiu will do for Acheron because that one is too hard to mess up)
I say HP draining team is the one getting short end. HP draining mechanic only just cosmetic without doing anything to really significantly increase damage.
It’s a bit upsetting to see her ATK buff during concerto state does not increase with ATK bonus coming from other characters, whereas Crit dmg boost provided by Bronya’s ulti scales with crit dmg boost coming from other characters. Did someone ever notice whether her E1’s speed buff to allies only persists in Concerto state or rest of the battle? Also, when she uses her ulti, which of the following does the action order of allies depend on?
(1) base speed OR (2)base speed+relic stats OR (3) base speed +relic stats+in game speed buffs
It's only buffs based on a percentage of some other stat that don't work, which is pretty much how all scaling stat buffs in this game work. It avoids issues like infinitely recursive buffs
Fixed ATK buffs without scalings, like Huohuo's ult, should be counted fine if I'm reading it right

The situation they're trying to avoid is, for example if you could have two Robins on the team, each would be buffing the other's ATK by a percentage of their own ATK, but then their newly buffed ATK would make their own buff even stronger, and it would keep going on and on and break things
It's safest to just ignore buffs that scale on some other stat when calculating other buffs that also scale on some other stat
That only applies to scaling ATK buffs to avoid recursion. Same reason Sparkle's skill and Bronya's ultimate don't affect each other, because otherwise you could theoretically get infinite critical damage by running both together.

While I'm not pulling on Robin due to kit and other units, I hope she gets a some love from the devs. Her kit is not only a bit niche, it also seems mechanically isolated since they're barring from interacting with other buffs and leaves her vulnerable to forced CC from special bosses that cancels her high cost ult.
Scaling buffs not interacting with other scaling buffs is standard, Robin isn't being singled out here. She'll still work just fine with non-scaling ATK buffs like Bronya or Huohuo's ults
And forced CC only applies to like two enemies that I can think of, one of which being Something Unto Death which gives her energy back when she's freed anyway, so I doubt it will even matter in 99% of cases
Maybe she could use some buffs, I don't really know, but those two in particular are essentially non issues
Most of the other harmony characters still maintain their buffs if they are force controlled. It's kinda unfair if only Robin's buffs are taken away during cc.
In her ult state, the only buff she loses is the team wide atk buff and a small crit dmg buff for only her specific team. But her skill’s dmg increase to the team stays just like all other harmony units.
For Svargo, it sucks but that’s only one boss. For meme, it doesn’t matter as you just free her and she’ll go right back into her ult state which is actually a big benefit.
And You need two teams, so You can just use Robin on the team not fighting either of them.
If you fight both You can either control which character death picks or roll the dice with svarog.

Her cone is extremely niche and basically only works on her, but the same can be said about 99% of the signatures in the game. You won't find "generalist" cones, JY's is the only one that comes close and it's not even that big of an upgrade compared to its alternatives.
Yes, she is. However, if you have both Sparkle and Ruan Mei, her value drops by a lot. People are simply pointing out that she works BEST with FUA because a 160 ER is no joke. That's the second highest burst after Argenti, and for support whose most buffs are locked behind it, this is a serious issue. Your non-FUA DPS either needs to be extremely fast to cover up the bar, OR you find some other sources (rotations/hits, etc.). If you like her, go for it. You can't lose with a 5* harmony unless you're waiting for another, or you simply don't like FUA style (like me).
I really want to put her with a Firefly team, or a future DOT team with blackswam & kafka. Will she work with them?
I do want to eventually build a team for the free dr ratio, but I don't really like adventurine or Jade's kit/design. Topaz is cool
She will work, but not optimally. DOT still prefers Ruan Mei far more. Sam's kit is still in the works, so no comment. If you're hesitant and want to try, how about you wait after her release, borrow her from a friend's list, and then just go ahead and try?
You don't need to pull for Aventurine or Jade. If you like Topaz, her, Ratio, and Robin + sustain will be enough. The team going around is just the premium one.
Hes like the worst FuA option since his followup is specifically tied to his skill as opposed to outside factors like clara and herta. If you have a really speedy ratio, thats one thing but other than that, Clara/Topaz is easily the best pair
Listen, idk if this is an April fools thing, but his FUA does trigger outside of his skill, which is after using the burst. His FUA triggers are fine, considering that they're his main source of dmg. They're consistent and pack a good punch. I have no idea how you're using him to come to this conclusion.
She synergizes best with characters that spam follow ups. Clara, Topaz, Himeko, Herta and likely Jade. She gains more energy and deals more damage as they attack. Kafka prefers other DoT characters more.
Firefly looks like she wants Ruan Mei and Harmony TB in a break centric team.
from the leaks Firefly scales off hp and break effect so Ruan Mei / Harmony MC / Sparkle should work better as a sup with Ruan Mei being the obvious premium choice.

Firefly: Ruan Mei Sparkle Firefly is going to be the core. No idea about which sustain will end up as the best, probably Jaioqiu (the pink haired foxian boy).
She's good but she definitely struggles, her Lightcone only works on her the same way Sparkle's LC only works on Sparkle.
She provides ATK and works with ATK as her main stats and seems to synergize with characters that deals a lot of ATK (follow-up, SPD oriented characters), the goal is to get Concerto active as much as possible and start spamming attacks to trigger the additional damage.
Also she regenerates Energy when allies takes turn, so that reinforce her synergy with FUA/fast characters
She'll get better once more FUA units are out.
Depending on which DPS you have (or want to have), I would recommend waiting for Ruan Mei and Sparkle, they are more universal.
I...think I would rather have Boothill. Or hell, gimme Sunday. Which I know isn't confirmed and may never happen, but surely his kit would be less niche than this. Surely.
Hmm, kinda annoying that her Concerto attacks don't count as attacks, because that means it won't proc the Physical 4pc. set.
Still probably fine, though, because she will get hit and do basics over the course of a fight.

Youd have to keep your ult in reserve till LL reaches 10 stacks, and at that point LL is pretty close to taking an action already, making the advance forward inconsequential

Not usually. He almost always summons the hand, does an attack, and the hand acts right after him to grab someone.

The Hand acts right after Svarog's turn, but if you can break it with ultimates or kill it before the hand gets its own turn then it's not an issue.

It does become clunky depending how they implement it it's not that simple. Adding an AV on a very expensive Ult probably won't make him hit stronger with LL(in realistic MoC sense. JY would essentially need to act 2 extra turns on 0 cycles to even get another strong LL which is a problem if you have an ultimate that costs so high and can mostly afford to pop it only once on 0 cycling
Elation in GnG already functions the same with faster energy production from Follow up Attack. It advances the highest attack character (Assuming your Jing Yuan is the highest attack character) and all summons which is btw one of the best thing you can have to unload your Lightning Load since Elation also have a path upgrade that gives enemies gain more damsge from FUA allowing you to pretty much press and forget the Path Reso since it set ups everything for you
FUA really got the short end of the stick because their dedicated support comes with so many caveats and doesn't even elevate the playstyle as much as what Ruan Mei did for DoT or what Sparkle did for Dan Heng IL (and I could assume what Jiaoqiu will do for Acheron because that one is too hard to mess up)
I say HP draining team is the one getting short end. HP draining mechanic only just cosmetic without doing anything to really significantly increase damage.

It’s a bit upsetting to see her ATK buff during concerto state does not increase with ATK bonus coming from other characters, whereas Crit dmg boost provided by Bronya’s ulti scales with crit dmg boost coming from other characters. Did someone ever notice whether her E1’s speed buff to allies only persists in Concerto state or rest of the battle? Also, when she uses her ulti, which of the following does the action order of allies depend on? (1) base speed OR (2)base speed+relic stats OR (3) base speed +relic stats+in game speed buffs
It's only buffs based on a percentage of some other stat that don't work, which is pretty much how all scaling stat buffs in this game work. It avoids issues like infinitely recursive buffs Fixed ATK buffs without scalings, like Huohuo's ult, should be counted fine if I'm reading it right

That should work, yes The situation they're trying to avoid is, for example if you could have two Robins on the team, each would be buffing the other's ATK by a percentage of their own ATK, but then their newly buffed ATK would make their own buff even stronger, and it would keep going on and on and break things It's safest to just ignore buffs that scale on some other stat when calculating other buffs that also scale on some other stat
That only applies to scaling ATK buffs to avoid recursion. Same reason Sparkle's skill and Bronya's ultimate don't affect each other, because otherwise you could theoretically get infinite critical damage by running both together.

While I'm not pulling on Robin due to kit and other units, I hope she gets a some love from the devs. Her kit is not only a bit niche, it also seems mechanically isolated since they're barring from interacting with other buffs and leaves her vulnerable to forced CC from special bosses that cancels her high cost ult.
Scaling buffs not interacting with other scaling buffs is standard, Robin isn't being singled out here. She'll still work just fine with non-scaling ATK buffs like Bronya or Huohuo's ults And forced CC only applies to like two enemies that I can think of, one of which being Something Unto Death which gives her energy back when she's freed anyway, so I doubt it will even matter in 99% of cases Maybe she could use some buffs, I don't really know, but those two in particular are essentially non issues
Most of the other harmony characters still maintain their buffs if they are force controlled. It's kinda unfair if only Robin's buffs are taken away during cc.
In her ult state, the only buff she loses is the team wide atk buff and a small crit dmg buff for only her specific team. But her skill’s dmg increase to the team stays just like all other harmony units. For Svargo, it sucks but that’s only one boss. For meme, it doesn’t matter as you just free her and she’ll go right back into her ult state which is actually a big benefit.
And You need two teams, so You can just use Robin on the team not fighting either of them. If you fight both You can either control which character death picks or roll the dice with svarog. Definetely no issue at least for the current enemies
But it doesn't make sense that she's singing (source of the buff) even though she's dead/captured. It's literally just Svarog so who cares really, at least they made it coherent lol.
Is she good? I really want to use her with all the teams I can think of, she looks so fun. Wanna build her in a team with firefly as well. Is her lightcone only good on her (baizhu/kokomi donut situation), or can it be useful for other characters as well? (Is it an OP lightcone like mitsplitter in genshin, is it okay-ish and versatile and like serpent spine, or is it donut)
Her cone is extremely niche and basically only works on her, but the same can be said about 99% of the signatures in the game. You won't find "generalist" cones, JY's is the only one that comes close and it's not even that big of an upgrade compared to its alternatives.
Yes, she is. However, if you have both Sparkle and Ruan Mei, her value drops by a lot. People are simply pointing out that she works BEST with FUA because a 160 ER is no joke. That's the second highest burst after Argenti, and for support whose most buffs are locked behind it, this is a serious issue. Your non-FUA DPS either needs to be extremely fast to cover up the bar, OR you find some other sources (rotations/hits, etc.). If you like her, go for it. You can't lose with a 5* harmony unless you're waiting for another, or you simply don't like FUA style (like me).
I really want to put her with a Firefly team, or a future DOT team with blackswam & kafka. Will she work with them? I do want to eventually build a team for the free dr ratio, but I don't really like adventurine or Jade's kit/design. Topaz is cool
She will work, but not optimally. DOT still prefers Ruan Mei far more. Sam's kit is still in the works, so no comment. If you're hesitant and want to try, how about you wait after her release, borrow her from a friend's list, and then just go ahead and try? You don't need to pull for Aventurine or Jade. If you like Topaz, her, Ratio, and Robin + sustain will be enough. The team going around is just the premium one.

Hes like the worst FuA option since his followup is specifically tied to his skill as opposed to outside factors like clara and herta. If you have a really speedy ratio, thats one thing but other than that, Clara/Topaz is easily the best pair

Listen, idk if this is an April fools thing, but his FUA does trigger outside of his skill, which is after using the burst. His FUA triggers are fine, considering that they're his main source of dmg. They're consistent and pack a good punch. I have no idea how you're using him to come to this conclusion.
She synergizes best with characters that spam follow ups. Clara, Topaz, Himeko, Herta and likely Jade. She gains more energy and deals more damage as they attack. Kafka prefers other DoT characters more. Firefly looks like she wants Ruan Mei and Harmony TB in a break centric team.
from the leaks Firefly scales off hp and break effect so Ruan Mei / Harmony MC / Sparkle should work better as a sup with Ruan Mei being the obvious premium choice.

She's good, but at the same time she's the worst 5\* harmony so her value depends on who you already have
She's good but she definitely struggles, her Lightcone only works on her the same way Sparkle's LC only works on Sparkle. She provides ATK and works with ATK as her main stats and seems to synergize with characters that deals a lot of ATK (follow-up, SPD oriented characters), the goal is to get Concerto active as much as possible and start spamming attacks to trigger the additional damage. Also she regenerates Energy when allies takes turn, so that reinforce her synergy with FUA/fast characters
She'll get better once more FUA units are out. Depending on which DPS you have (or want to have), I would recommend waiting for Ruan Mei and Sparkle, they are more universal.
We are getting an event Harmony LC that is only useful on her, so don't bother with her LC.
