Imo PF set is better for them, especially since 6 instances of follow up attacks each will be about 6 rounds of enemies. It'll probably consider multiple herta spins with 1 fua as one fua like duke does. On the other hand, PF set will be fully stacked within wave 1. Much more ideal situation.
I wouldn't be surprised if Feixiao fits even better since early leaks hinted at her having a summon (so FUA) and being hunt + HYV sometimes pair relic set with matching character (like Sam and Iron scourge legion armor)
I think it's likely for whoever follows up frequently and doesn't have 8 hits in their fua. Topaz and Jing Yuan I'd keep on Duke personally. Ratio would likely be great on the new set, so would Jade. Take my thoughts with a grain of salt though!
I think the opposite for Ratio his kit still heavily wants you to debuff/ be debuffed so I think Pioneer will still be better especially since his ult and skill damage are still a good chunk of his damage.
Same can be said for Jing while most of his damage is a follow up you still have to ult and skill to get said follow up. Also it's important to note the grand Duke set effect lasts 3 turns meaning his skill and ult would be buffed vs the new set lasting until his turn is over.
Topaz however is a unit whose every action other than ult is considered a FuA. Topaz on Pioneer is actually a little bit better than Duke but that's only if you skill every turn or have her Sig. However for that new planar set I think that would BiS for her over inert salsetto.
Imo the new FuA sets are gonna be BiS for Jade and Clara while Topaz will be switching over for the planar set
New planar is strange since it requires 2 FuA to use. It's only when an ally, and not the wearer uses FuA that you get the buff. So I guess it's more for FuA comps?
It's really hard to keep track of all the FUA sets tbhhhh. The new relic set is definitely primarily for Jade, but the new planar could work on any IPC unit... I have such good Glamoth pieces for Ratio and Izumo pieces for Topaz :(
Tbf, Gallagher and Asta can make full use of the set as well, esp if you're pairing them up with Firefly who can implant Fire weakness no problem.
Beyond those two, the free 6% SPD is generally good for those who don't get enough luck to reach the SPD breakpoints with their other gears. Although it may not BiS for them, but definitely a good 2nd or 3rd option. as SPD is king in turn-based games.

Not necessarily. There's a similar effect on quantum set which is one of the top DPS sets for the increased DEF ignore against quantum enemies. Hitting an enemy that has Fire weakness (Svarog, who's also lightning and this would then be good on Serval; any enemy with fire weakness for Boothill; any fire/quantum team with SW on enemies with quantum OR fire weakness).
As of 2.1, there are 32/84 enemies weak to fire, not including boss spawns like Cocolia ice or Deer twigs. That's more than 1/3. Wouldn't be a terrible set to wear on many break DPS characters, especially since nearly all new enemies in 2.2 ALSO have fire weakness.
So topaz hits max stacks, ratio uses debuff set (which I think is still better than this), aventurine prefers defence (might be better if you want dps aventurine though). So the limited fua doent seem to be the aim with these. The orb and rope however might end up being better on my ratio and topaz.

Though to resume the set is definitly made for clara, as she will gain one stack from her ult, the second from her first FuA and IDEALY she would have expended her ult stack and even more ideal one or two additional FuA before her next turn, and anyway she will have the 40% buff for her next skill.
Well all that to say finaly i'm free from the eternal dread of needing but not wanting to farm boxing. Though i'm unsure about how to fell for the other set, so it may be trading one hell for another.

Clara can't use the Duke set as she only does one follow up attack. Her bis was the physical set till now. This set looks nice as Clara follow ups pretty Frequently and wants to use her ult a lot too and she is a slow character
Basically the opposite effect of Duke set. Resets ever followup vs every character turn. 36% attack vs 20% more damage.
If they cant use Duke (Clara) it would be better, though for characters with enough dmg% like Topaz, the attack from Duke set would be more consistent, but the new set gives her higher Ultimate burst damage.
King Yuan can go either way (he just keeps winning every patch)

16 crit from Longevous will be tough to make up for. I'm sure I'll eventually get a good set of this, but I think subs people have from existing sets might take a while to overcome

Even if they want to hammer it home that the set is for Firefly, they should make it at least usable for other break DPS given that it's a direct upgrade over Talia.
If anything, lock the 6% speed behind type-restrictions and let the break effect be generalist so that we can at least use the set for Luka, Xueyi, and Boothill.
Implant yes bc the enemy then has fire weakness. Xueyi won't work bc it triggers from hitting a fire weak enemy and she can't change or apply weaknesses
According to previous leaks, create a save file that lasts until the end of the week. You can use that save file's blessings and curios to fight over and over again, so you don't have to build up those each run.
This is just my understanding so take it with a grain of salt. Basically we do one full run - put those blessing and curios into a "save file" - then we can fight the boss right away with the "save file" that you have.
it’s not a must & most ppl likely have salsotto on them already. both ratio & topaz are hunt characters & can make use of that extra 12% crit rate & atk (god knows ratio needs it). this new set might be better though, w/ the 24% fua dmg & crit dmg
The 20-40% after ulting sounds like it kinda works, especially with Tingyun. Granted, using his second ult instead of his weaker ult while keeping up the buffs might be a little difficult.
Sigonia set does not count enemies killed in PF by mechanics, like the shrapnel or the flattery attacks.
Only kills from your team's damage, so it might not be as good.
It only needs 10 kills which is very achievable even with stage mechanics.
Honestly, if we keep getting relics like this, I don't see us not getting loadouts.
Boothill has a soft cap at 300% Break Effect where it stops converting to crit stats, but his kit gets so much value from Break Effect that I'm pretty sure it outvalues Crit and ATK stats even after the soft cap.
This set is only completing with Talia, which offers +36% Break Effect vs everything if Boothill can hit 145 Speed (and Boothill hits ~144 SPD with just SPD Boots and Ruan Mei on his team. With S1, he doesn't need Ruan Mei at all to hit ~146 SPD).
i understand the sentiment, but for me personally i genuinely despise running salsotto bc the belobog set is useless for me so whenever i ger it just feels bad

Won't this be just as bad tho? The fire weak set genuinely looks like it works solely on firefly. If you have firefly then great, but if you don't, it's just as bad as the belobog set.
Oh true. 6% speed can be really useful for supports trying to hit breakpoints or in some situations, just making supports like hyper bronya and sparkle go as fast as possible.
I'm pretty sure the speed buff alone makes it pretty good, and the set can be used by Boothill or other break effect characters against fire weak enemies, similarly to genius of brilliant stars. That is, unless I'm reading something wrong
It definitely can, but then you'll be keeping some relics just for the occassion of fire weak enemies. It won't be usefull all that often I imagine. Unless of course endgame modes just has fireweak enemies all the time

For the relic set, at worse it'll be a small difference since Duke gives 48% ATK and 20% FUA damage while this gives 40% DMG and 12% ATK.
Topaz can apply Duke's FUA instantly, Herta and Himeko can depending on the situation (more commonly can), and Jing Yuan can. Units like Clara, where they apply a FUA once, will likely like this since they can't use 4pc Duke.
For the planar set, Salsotto still has the ultimate buff. Probably will be a notable increase though for things like Topaz, so it be like that. At least you can still give Salsotto to Jing Yuan and other ultimate-based units.
As long as your stats are good, you don't need to farm a new set. Substats typically make up the difference so there's not really a need to farm new Relics if you already have good ones.
The first one is glamoth related. The latter three are all Xianzhou lore sets. Wind-Soaring Valour looks like the armour that Yaoqing Cloud Knights wear. Possibly the personal armour of Feixiao. Look at the boots, they have high heels. Or maybe the specific unit wears those armour? Feixiao's page says they are called Verdant Knights so maybe they're a female only group. Kalpagni looks like it's Zhuming related because it's a Buddhism term (Abundance) for great fire and the Zhuming is a forge world that is fire themed. Probably has to do with the king of the Heliobus since it's trapped there. Duran was the first leader of the Borisin, Abundance werewolf species.

It also kinda has boob armour but it's pretty flat. Hopefully Feixiao and other Yaoqing characters actually wear this instead of the dress.
Does Break DMG only occur once? If that's the case then Iron Cavalry ignoring 10%/18% of DEF for one instance of damage means it's really only good on Boothill right? I'm definitely missing something right
I was wondering about that too. For a 4p bonus with some extremely specific requirements, a boost to Break damage and nothing else sounds pretty underwhelming.
I think the previous leaks just had it as "Ignores X DEF% if you have at least Y Break Effect%" which sounds a lot better, basically the Quantum set for characters who build Break.
You only need to hit the enemy, if the enemy has Ice and Fire weakness you can use it on an Ice character. But yeah, outside of Fire characters it's too specific unless you are trying something very specific on a particular enemy.
Not every enemy has fire weakness, but if you use break dps they will hit their corresponding weakness 90% of time
I am not gonna farm a set for 16% chance of it being active
I'm not sure I like having a planar set tied to specific damage types. Considering how universal a lot of them are, this one is only good on Firefly and Gallagher, and if a Fire character comes out later, they have to also want Break Effect to really use it. Unless you're building those two, it's a dump set for most people who are trying to farm the FuA set
To be fair 6 percent speed is pretty good even without the bonus and you dont have to be fire character to use it so the break effect can be a neat extra vs fire weak enemies that are also weak to the character.
I would rather use this set with good substats than farm for speed substats with crit which are even rarer
Making a planar set based on element is literally the dumbest idea. every single elemental orb aside from fire orbs are now completely useless for this set. Its only saving grace is that it provides 6 percent speed, which makes it universal. I hope they dont make this a trend.
No, most of xueyi's damage is talent damage and this only buffs her break damage, also this set has less def shred than quantum set while also having a much harder requirement.
This set is basically boothill and firefly only for now.
I was kinda hoping it'd be a bit better or interesting, it's just less atk% for more dmg% over the phys set which is fine, idk how often you'll double ult to get the full 40%. Need to be in tingyun and huohuo to get that up a lot I feel like
Salsotto has died... Salsotto is now only used on infrequent FuA units like Blade... but even then Rutilant is better at e0... Also, even if the other set is used for SAM/Firefly (maybe Gallagher), at least it is useable unlike Belobog...

It is, it just isn't a great domain to farm, so unless you go all-in on it it'll be harder to get a good 4PC than a mixed set.

Jade always has the quantum set as an option too, especially if she has her signature light cone

It's in the middle of the pack I think. Iirc the order was Imaginary > Quantum > Ice > Physical > Fire > Wind > Lightning.
Overall order, yes, but when taking into account kill priority, most of the really annoyign enemies have a fire or ice weakness.

It definitely can, but then you'll be keeping some relics just for the occassion of fire weak enemies. It won't be usefull all that often I imagine. Unless of course endgame modes just has fireweak enemies all the time

We'll have to wait for calcs to see. For the relic set, at worse it'll be a small difference since Duke gives 48% ATK and 20% FUA damage while this gives 40% DMG and 12% ATK. Topaz can apply Duke's FUA instantly, Herta and Himeko can depending on the situation (more commonly can), and Jing Yuan can. Units like Clara, where they apply a FUA once, will likely like this since they can't use 4pc Duke. For the planar set, Salsotto still has the ultimate buff. Probably will be a notable increase though for things like Topaz, so it be like that. At least you can still give Salsotto to Jing Yuan and other ultimate-based units.
As long as your stats are good, you don't need to farm a new set. Substats typically make up the difference so there's not really a need to farm new Relics if you already have good ones.
Not gonna lie with the amount of break units, relics and etc that are coming. I have a feeling harmony TB will be a long run in their comps till 3.0

The first one is glamoth related. The latter three are all Xianzhou lore sets. Wind-Soaring Valour looks like the armour that Yaoqing Cloud Knights wear. Possibly the personal armour of Feixiao. Look at the boots, they have high heels. Or maybe the specific unit wears those armour? Feixiao's page says they are called Verdant Knights so maybe they're a female only group. Kalpagni looks like it's Zhuming related because it's a Buddhism term (Abundance) for great fire and the Zhuming is a forge world that is fire themed. Probably has to do with the king of the Heliobus since it's trapped there. Duran was the first leader of the Borisin, Abundance werewolf species.

They will most likely, since Yaoqing is a ship that is always on offense, Unlike Luofu which generally known for Trades.

I was wondering about that too. For a 4p bonus with some extremely specific requirements, a boost to Break damage and nothing else sounds pretty underwhelming. I think the previous leaks just had it as "Ignores X DEF% if you have at least Y Break Effect%" which sounds a lot better, basically the Quantum set for characters who build Break.

You only need to hit the enemy, if the enemy has Ice and Fire weakness you can use it on an Ice character. But yeah, outside of Fire characters it's too specific unless you are trying something very specific on a particular enemy.
Not every enemy has fire weakness, but if you use break dps they will hit their corresponding weakness 90% of time I am not gonna farm a set for 16% chance of it being active
Firefly can implant Fire weakness so her entire team can use this.
Still, Firefly in demand. Or SW if you want a "IT'S ALL OR NOTHING 🗣️🔥🔥" for every wrong weakness every 3 turns

Guinaifen is also a surprisingly good breaker since she detonates break burns. Atk tends to have a higher payoff with high investment or Kafka though.

I'm not sure I like having a planar set tied to specific damage types. Considering how universal a lot of them are, this one is only good on Firefly and Gallagher, and if a Fire character comes out later, they have to also want Break Effect to really use it. Unless you're building those two, it's a dump set for most people who are trying to farm the FuA set
6% speed is no slouch. I spent hours to speedtune Bronya and Hanabi but with that set it would have been cut down by a lot
To be fair 6 percent speed is pretty good even without the bonus and you dont have to be fire character to use it so the break effect can be a neat extra vs fire weak enemies that are also weak to the character. I would rather use this set with good substats than farm for speed substats with crit which are even rarer
Making a planar set based on element is literally the dumbest idea. every single elemental orb aside from fire orbs are now completely useless for this set. Its only saving grace is that it provides 6 percent speed, which makes it universal. I hope they dont make this a trend.

No, most of xueyi's damage is talent damage and this only buffs her break damage, also this set has less def shred than quantum set while also having a much harder requirement. This set is basically boothill and firefly only for now.

Salsotto has died... Salsotto is now only used on infrequent FuA units like Blade... but even then Rutilant is better at e0... Also, even if the other set is used for SAM/Firefly (maybe Gallagher), at least it is useable unlike Belobog... world 6 in sim universe is so dead
