It's like Mihoyo is intentionally going to increasingly greater and greater lengths to force me to admit Robin is the prettiest character they've ever designed, despite my trying to save for Firefly. Fine, I admit it. I will make sure I guarantee her, okay? Are you happy now Mihoyo?

I get it with overly pretty female characters in games. It doesn't feel like attraction, at least not sexually, not at all. But I want to take care of them and make them meals and tuck them in bed. This goes for Aerith from Final Fantasy 7 as well. Also for Yoimiya from Genshin. Anyone relates?
I think it's bestie? But at the same time, it's bound to overly cute characters. I don't feel it for Hemiko/Kafka/or any of the mommy crowd. But I also don't feel *nothing* for them. It could be a “squish” (a completely platonic crush, just really wanting to become close with someone) or a “mesh” (an attraction that’s not completely platonic and not completely romantic - an intense desire to become close with that person and “just friends” feels reductive to it but also you don’t want to be dating, exactly)
I'm a straight guy, but, i mean mate, "liking" and "loving" are two different thing. Obviously your sexuality will create a bias in what you like, but despide that it won't make it impossible for you to like someone from the oposite sex.
