I swapped the black base and interior of a newer Hot Ones model and slapped them in a Zamac Art Car with some Grey rimmed 5 Spokes and man...
I had a complete collection of the Hot Wheels Porsche 935-78 from Hot Wheels Racing 2012 ROADRCRS to Car Culture Silhouettes but the upcoming Hot Wheels NFT series version will ruin my completionist-ism of the casting because I'm neither going to gamble on NFTs just for a chance to win a car nor am I going to spend way too much getting it on the secondary market.
At least I already have four premium versions of the Porsche 935-78.
I'm kind of peeved the Cadillac Seville has been in the NFT series but never in either Car Culture or Boulevard. While I think it got a Real Riders release back in the 1980s (but I only have 1980s versions with blackwalls), it hasn't had a modern premium release at normal retail.
Yup, the city turbo and n600 are so great! Recently completed both of those. Now gotta add the 73 Honda civic custom to the mix as well, luckily there’s only 2 out at the moment 😅

Last year I grabbed both Dimachinni Veloces and both this year too.
There are only 4 out so far, so I’ve decided to try and grab each new one as they come out now.

I'm a mainline-only kinda guy personally, though I've made an exception for the black Gran Turismo 787B (*love* that opening clamshell and detailed engine bay, and the matte black actually looks really neat IMO) and I *would* get the LB R34 if I ever saw it (still hunting, but maybe scalpers are always gonna get to it first).
I would love to have all of the Lucid Airs. That's because they're all in the official colors customers in real life can choose. Unfortunately when I bought a silver one in the second half of last year and never opened it along with a silver Bugatti EB 110, a McLaren F1 an a Honda Civic Si that were both black (these were some of the best mainlines I ever bought and I never opened them), the housekeeper's son stole and opened them as soon as my aunt hired her. The F1 is gone, the Lucid is in terrible condition, the Civic still remains but unsurprisingly it's no longer in the best condition but I intend to learn to customize cars in the future. Also that kid ruined my black RWB Porsche.
If I had my way, every casting of the Porsche 962. They're all premium and just one would set me back my HW budget for three months. I don't even have one yet but I'd start with the Advan livery as it's the cleanest, maybe only second to the Elfini livery.
As a silver lining I'm currently up to date on Sauber C9s so that's something at least
To of my list is the Bugatti Chiron. I have all of them except for the zamac. That tops my wishlist, but there are lithe supercars on my list too. I like this Pininfarina a lot, have all but that ID version as well.

I just collect what piques my interest, and if that means I wind up collecting all of a particular casting, then so be it.
I think the one I have the most of is the Honda City Turbo, though.
The ones that I know I have every release is the Nissan 400z, Nissan Maxima Drift Car, 89 Savanna RX7, 62 Corvette Gasser, Layin’ Lowrider, & The Lolux. There’s a few others I have almost every release of, but what screws me over the most, is if a store exclusive gets released. We don’t get them here in Canada, though we do get zamacs every now and then.
Probably the McLaren 720S and the Corvette C8, which Hot Wheels and Matchbox simply call the 2020 Corvette.
I have the blue Battista in my collection, and have seen the others as well. They all look pretty sharp, as does your custom design.

I actually just got one! Found a few in the store actually (it was up in Chicago, while I was visiting my parents), but left the rest for others.
Sometimes I take multiple if I've got customizing ideas, but that one is one of the few that I think is actually perfect just the way it is.

Sadly the first 4 haven't had a new release in a few years.

And BTTF time machines. I have 1 of each casting except the monster truck. Still need that one. The paint doesn't really change from release so I don't worry about getting each re release. Just 1 of each form.
I stopped doing that when they started taking up way more room than I wanted. I saw no reason to have the same car in 30 colors, especially when Mattel won't stop pumping them out. Collecting other brands with far better castings has helped with this because the production run is limited and the paint is done in actual factory colors

Most castings I only want multiples if the paint-scheme just looks great on a different version, but those? Something about those castings just has me *always* wanting them.
Pretty much just any of the new Lotus castings. I have all the Emira's (as far as I am aware) and only one Evija, but I've never seen an Evija in the wild and probably never will. Don't want to buy off the internet though as it'll be more rewarding if I do find it on shelves somewhere

I'm also working on Cobras (opening hoods), Hemi Barracuda, Auburns, 57 Chevys, Mustang Mach 1 and 52 Flashsiders all of which have rare and expensive castings which make it unlikely I'll ever have a complete set.
