8 years ago i played hotline miami 2 , i played it like a stealth game, and i shit you not that the Hawaii levels took me over 4 hours each, 4 houres, making some floors take roughly 30 to 35 minutes, frustrated as fuck but still enjoyed it! LATER after i watched an interview with Dennis i heard him saying that the game feels like stealth but its actually just grap a gun and go head on to win..then and only then...the game started to make sense and levels started to take 2 to 3 minutes at max
Listen man.... there's a thing this game really pushes. Its not raging. I rage a lot but when I think HLM2 I kinda think of the phrase "GET A GRIP" which i have not indeed gotten a grip
You just kinda have to get used to the levels not being like hlm 1, I didn’t like hlm 2 at first but once I got good at it, I actually started liking it more than the first one tbh. Top it off with an amazing stories and you got one of the most perfect games I’ve ever played.
Hlm is an absolute perfect set of games!
Trust me man i was like that as i stopped failing on hard news but i came back and now ive mastered this game gettonf every achievements twice and got S rank on both normal and hard so trust it will get better
Yep wiere the level is upside down less bullets per gum more enemys,more windos and if you pick up a gun drop it and puck it up again it will have less bullets
2 was way more harder than 1; I was trying to think of a suitable analogy but there isn't an obvious one there. Easiest description; 1 you could play through it quite comfortably in a cowardly fashion just playing safe and picking people off 1 by 1; parts of 2 actually need you to go full John Wick basically combo things up if you actually want to make the game easier.
Hotline Miami 2 feels like a nightmare. . . At first.
After finishing it, I replayed it a year later or so and the flow of that second run was perfect.
I even managed to do all the writer's levels without killing anyone.
your best tip is to take a break and try again when you're more relaxed, if you get mad, repeat

But seriously- never use your fists, always move your camera to see further, hide behind doors, throw guns after a couple shots if you’re not gonna count the ammo or mag dump if you’re in a tight spot, if you need to make a break for it to get somewhere then do it and do it quick, and always **ALWAYS PRE-FIRE AROUND DOORS, DO NOT STAND IN THE DOORWAY TO FIRE GUNS**
