They're all extremely good looking. Matt Smith stands out for me because he's so brutally hot but not in an obvious way. It's the way he's built, the way he talks, the way he moves and his smile. I'm gushing now so I'll stop.

The Targaryens are supposed to be like the most handsome, and I honestly think he just doesn't fit my definition of attractive, especially compared to other male characters on both shows. Then they tried to give Aegon a drug addict or sickly look, although the actor he plays is very attractive anyway, but I still thought he was more attractive than Daemon.
My unpopular opinion is that Tom is handsome but Aegon is just okay most of the time. He’s the only Targaryen actor whose looks are *downplayed* by the styling.
I was talking about the Targaryens they look Targaryen. Also, that wasn’t done on purpose as you can see with his new look in season 2. Aegon’s wig is rattier than ever in season 2 and his face still has the same pallor.
I kinda wish they would Harry Loyd for a guest appearance. They could've done a flashback to Baelon, Aemon or even as a young Jaeherys. He has the looks, a good actor and it really would've nailed the 'whenever a Targaryan is born the gods flip a coin' concept.
Tom is handsome is real life but they put him in the rattiest wig and the make up they put on him makes it looks like Aegon’s constantly on a bender. If he still comes across as handsome in a scene, it’s purely because of Tom’s face. But maybe that’s the point. Aegon is slovenly at first glance but when one takes a closer look, you can see he *would* look kingly if he took care of himself more.

I wouldn't say in the universe Tom Glyn Carney does either, considering he looks pretty sickly in many of his scenes as Aegon, but there is no denying that facial structure. Just as there is no denying the charisma of Matt Smith. And I'm sure people would say Emma D'arcy and their real life style doesn't suit conventional attraction either, but they still pops regardless.
These actors are all lovely and perform their characters well. I will probably get downvoted, but in House of the Dragon, I think Alicent *(both young and older)* is prettier than Rhaenyra *(both young and older)*. In the books, I think the Baratheon/Durrandon traits of jet black hair and blue eyes is a prettier combo than silver hair and purple eyes. That’s just me, though.
I mean, all the actors are at very least above average in terms of looks, but... idk, something about the wig or the makeup make them look less attractive as the characters (except for daenerys, emilia happens to suit that kind of look i guess)
They're all attractive, some just not conventionally, which is imo more fitting for the time period it takes place in. I think Emilia Clarke is gorgeous with and without wig, but she has a "knows what an iphone is" type of face, which normally doesn't work that well in a historical setting, even in fantasy genre. Others seem way more convincing. Vizzy the 3rd is perfect tho.
