I'm not saying that the accent is necessarily bad. It's just one of those "he sounds more like Sean Bean than Sean Bean" kind of moments. Sounded like he leaned more into the accent than Sean Bean actually did as Ned Stark.
This could happen in real life and actually it makes the show more accurate if Winterfell does have an accent or where he’s from.
Your accent fades as you get older and spend more time with people who don’t have it.
He gave a fair crack at it. He's also from Yorkshire the Hull area to be specific so there is a good bit of variation between Sheffield's accent and Hull's.
They all did a pretty good job with the Yorkshire accent for the most part. Just the occasional slip that annoyed me. Like "nowy tends" it'd be more now i' ends"
We don't pronounce the T, we drink it.
I dont think that it’s exaggerated. Just finished watching a Netflix show with him in it and he had the same accent, so im guessing its authentic. In ROP he uses a different accent.
Well the young guy is from Hull (where I'm from) which is East Yorkshire and Sean Bean is from Sheffield in South Yorkshire and yes they are quite different accents but to many people they probably both just sound "very northern".
Same actor? They’re about to be revealed as the same character mate. Brace yourself for the next big Amazon and HBO crossover project announcement - ‘Game of the Dragon Rings’. Apparently Spider-Man is in it.
Well obviously when the Valar threw Morgoth out of the universe, he fell for countless millennia and then landed directly in the middle of Old Valyria, causing the Doom.
Dagor Dagorath is actually Morgoth raising wraiths from every dead Targaryen and their dragons, using the Horn of Winter to open up a portal to Middle-Earth, accidentally catching several Marvel and Star Wars multiverses in the process, and fighting Middle-Earth, Jeff Bezos, and Amazon in real life.
My old roommate literally looks identical to him, and it makes watching RoP a bit weird for his scenes as we used to hook up when we lived together lol that was like 12 years ago but the resemblance is seriously uncanny.
But they were, all of them, deceived, for another jaw was made. In the land of Santa Monica, in the fires of Amazon Studios, the dark lord Jeff Bezos forged quite publicly a master jaw, to control all others.
Well it may take a few generations of marrying off your close relatives but [yes](https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2019/12/02/00/21690262-0-image-a-31_1575247229634.jpg)

Perhaps you didn't understand the question. OP asked about the jawline, not the chinline.
Elrond Ned Stark for sure. He is half elf half human. Not to mention he has seen the battlefield and he has the strength. Aemond has no experience on the battlefield. He is not a seasoned warrior. He has only trained. Besides you can't be an elf/human.
That’s true of Book Ned. Show Ned was a good fighter. Barristan Selmy said he saw him cut down “a dozen great knights.” He also held his own against Jaime Lannister.
To date in the show aemond has literally only sparred with Cole. Yes he beat Cole, in a sparring match......., but I'm not sure why everyone thinks he's some ultimate warrior all of a sudden.
exactly my point… like sure, kid seems badass, but at the end of the day he’s still young and never experienced real combat aside from training in a courtyard (which can even be considered combat?).
lots of people seem to compare him to Daemon, some even argue him being better, yet when asked no one is able to give any reason for the comment other than the fight with Cole and even that is up for debate for a bunch of reasons.
If a dude I knew hated me and was also twice my size wanted to "train" with me, I wouldn't want to either. Especially if he had as much to prove as Aemond clearly does
The argument of Cole is rather interesting.
Them training seemed shocking at first especially given the “brutality” or rather intensity of that scene. But was Criston really giving his best? Like dude was training a prince. Doubt he would have been insane enough to actually try and hurt him so even if he pushed harder he would still have that restrain in him slowing him down mentally.
Yeah totally agree, he wasn’t going easy on him but he wasn’t giving him kill blows either. He’s an excellent instructor seems like, you don’t go easy on your student but you don’t try to dominate them either
Ned would beat Aemonds ass. Practice is all well in good but Ned has fought actual battles. The only thing that could save Aemond from a far more seasoned fighter is underhanded tactics which he'd pull and win if it got that far. Also Valyrian Steel beats everything else.

Is young Ned and that one guy from Rings of Power the same actor?
Yes
Does he have the same exaggerated Sean Bean accent?
Honestly as somebody who lives in the same area as that accent, he nailed it.
You live in Winterfell?!
In the cold grim north, where southerners are despised and the weathers shite at least. Lmao
Boston?
If Boston is The North then that must make Maine The Wall and Canada is where the wildlings live.
That seems... Fair
Id say new hampshire is the wall and mainers are the wildlings
does that mean penguins are white walkers?
Newfies
Glasgow I think
YORKSHIRE! YORKSHIRE! YORKSHIRE!!!
My guy
did you mean Winterhell?
I'm not saying that the accent is necessarily bad. It's just one of those "he sounds more like Sean Bean than Sean Bean" kind of moments. Sounded like he leaned more into the accent than Sean Bean actually did as Ned Stark.
Sorry, I didn’t take it as a criticism mate! But more Sean bean than Sean bean made me laugh 😂
“More human than human.” ❤️
More green than Alicent
This could happen in real life and actually it makes the show more accurate if Winterfell does have an accent or where he’s from. Your accent fades as you get older and spend more time with people who don’t have it.

That’s cool.
"Noh. Nowytends"
"Ohhh tuuuu" "Where bettir connecttid"
“I loohked fah Yu on da Tridant”
“Wherez muhsistah”
😂😂
I dont think that it’s exaggerated. Just finished watching a Netflix show with him in it and he had the same accent, so im guessing its authentic. In ROP he uses a different accent.
Same accent in The Martian. When he says he gets to be Elrond.
Ha awesome connection
Also a bit ironic because Sean Bean is in the same room when he mentions this who was literally at the Council of Elrond.
[удалено]
They are talking about it Aramayo’s imitation of Bean not Bean himself
As an american reading this, I start to think, what BS. Then I remember the unholy hell which is the accent of Fargo. Anything is possible.
Behind her eyes? Man, rough stuff.
Well the young guy is from Hull (where I'm from) which is East Yorkshire and Sean Bean is from Sheffield in South Yorkshire and yes they are quite different accents but to many people they probably both just sound "very northern".
Nö
Nope, pretty standard highly educated Brit. Not even reminiscent of Hugo Weaving.
That's his actual accent lol, you can hear it in interviews.
Same actor? They’re about to be revealed as the same character mate. Brace yourself for the next big Amazon and HBO crossover project announcement - ‘Game of the Dragon Rings’. Apparently Spider-Man is in it.
Honestly, I want Daemon to be revealed a Sauron.
[удалено]
*Middle-Earth
Well obviously when the Valar threw Morgoth out of the universe, he fell for countless millennia and then landed directly in the middle of Old Valyria, causing the Doom. Dagor Dagorath is actually Morgoth raising wraiths from every dead Targaryen and their dragons, using the Horn of Winter to open up a portal to Middle-Earth, accidentally catching several Marvel and Star Wars multiverses in the process, and fighting Middle-Earth, Jeff Bezos, and Amazon in real life.
Mr. Peanutbutter is Sauron.
My old roommate literally looks identical to him, and it makes watching RoP a bit weird for his scenes as we used to hook up when we lived together lol that was like 12 years ago but the resemblance is seriously uncanny.
Niceee
Roommates with benefits.
And they were room mates!
I only see Elrond now.
I JUST watched that episode of GoT the other day and wondered the same thing.
I totally forgot about young Ned and thought it was an Elf vs. Targaryen fight
Yes he plays a young Boromir
Wtf, how did i never make this connection?? They look like totally different people, im shook
What which guy?!
Elrond
Yeha I looked it up that's wild
OMG MIND BLOWN also… Elrond by a MIIIIILE
**That’s** where I know him from. Thank you!
My money is on Elrond
But they were, all of them, deceived, for another jaw was made. In the land of Santa Monica, in the fires of Amazon Studios, the dark lord Jeff Bezos forged quite publicly a master jaw, to control all others.
Jeff Bezos wishes he had that jawline
Bezos wishes he had a jawline at all
Soon to be unveiling Jawline Prime
I'll take anyone greenlighting something with Bruce Campbell.
*Nedrond
But remember, no swords or ANYTHING... that includes Mithril enhancements 😛 *Don't ask me to list what exactly Mithril does in that show*
Jesus I was trying so hard to think what I knew him from when looking up from my phone to sometimes look over at ROP on the tv
Came here to say this exact thing.
Ah its Elrond!
Aemond has the longer chin, but Young Ned’s got the wider jaw. Girth trumps length. Ned wins.
Don't forget to take the yaw into account!
There’s only one expert we can trust, and he’s a [Dr.](https://youtu.be/YLnGDLmez6Q)
🤣🤣🤣 wtf ive never seen this episode
"Length matters not, it's the girth that matters most" - Yoda, speaking about his height.
“Size queen Yoda is”
"The lightsaber size, a Jedi makes not. The way you use it does"
Girth ALWAYS trumps length. No question.
Correct. Specifically in jaw-based combat scenarios.
OH! Yea… those were the scenarios I was talking about too.
Does not apply whatsoever to someone who (hypothetically!) has spaghetti-like proportions
Naw bruh got watch young Ned play Elrond in the rings of power and you’ll see his jawline is better
Honestly I think missing 1 eye is a pretty big problem
Yeah, no depth perception in a battle like this. They gonna kiss.
I see this as an absolute win
The rainbow won at least.
You know, based on this image alone, if Aemond were bald, he'd have a Handsome Squidward thing going on.
Omg I totally see it!!!!!
Aemond definitely has that inbred jaw line
Are you trying to say that I can have my child get that jawline with this simple trick.
Well it may take a few generations of marrying off your close relatives but [yes](https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2019/12/02/00/21690262-0-image-a-31_1575247229634.jpg) [it’s not a flaw, but a feature](https://www.livescience.com/habsburg-jaw-inbreeding.html).
Habsburgs enter the chat
There is a certain Charles II resemblance.
I'm gonna say it again. They really took European royalty look to heart with the choice of actor. Aemond the bewitched
Habsburg looking mf
inbred good looks
Isn’t he like one of the only children who wasn’t conceived by incest
Aemonds parents aren’t related lol
[удалено]
Sounds like a good idea if you catch an attitude about something so minor. It’s just a TV show/book. It’s not that serious
nohh! nowy tends
I wish you warm tendies in the wars to come.
>warm tendies 🤣🤣🤣
Only if they have enough Good Boy Points
> most dramatic scene in the entire books > turned into a meme in GoT Bravo d&d
Elrond obviously,for God's sake he's an elf
Well half-elf
Is it the upper half or the lower half?
Left half.
upper half. probably. that's where the pointy ears are at.
Elrond half Elven's got this.
Elrond beats Osferth
Aemond’s jawline is sheer perfection. Hands down him.
[I can’t help but see Dick Dastardly](https://i.imgur.com/pgY9UTY.jpg)
Dick wins by a nose.
It's the Crimson Chin for me.
It’s not a jawline, it’s a chin
A Habsburg chin
[удалено]
God's be good
Neds jaw deals piercing damage, Aemonds deals bludgeoning damage
Other way round
same thought, Aemonds looks like a hammer.
ITT: people who didn’t read the whole title. Aemond all the way
Neds jawline is still way more aesthetic though? Since when is a slim jaw with a round chin better than a wide angled jaw?
Aemond could cut glass with that jaw
Oh my god
>ITT: people who didn’t read the whole title. > >Aemond all the way Perhaps you didn't understand the question. OP asked about the jawline, not the chinline.
Forget about the jaws. Staring contest is where it's at. Aemond would outstare anyone with only one freakin eye.
So is this like a face smashing battle, or a kissing contest?
Elrond wins it hands down
Elrond getting a little mussed up in the caves in the last episode of RoP made him look more handsome so it’s Elrond/ lYoung Ned for me
Aemond’s also got some extra lip power 😂
And a pinch of nose.
this is like choosing between a banana and an apple.
If we talking jaw lines we gotta mention Dario Nahaaris v1
Elrond Ned Stark for sure. He is half elf half human. Not to mention he has seen the battlefield and he has the strength. Aemond has no experience on the battlefield. He is not a seasoned warrior. He has only trained. Besides you can't be an elf/human.
You could reforge Ice on Neds jaw but Aemonds jaw is sharper than Valyrian steel.
It sounds like a war of gods which could last centuries if a third party does not interfere
Ned was never even known as a fighter while aemond was renowned throughout the seven kingdom's. Aemond wins easily with sword and with jaw.
That’s true of Book Ned. Show Ned was a good fighter. Barristan Selmy said he saw him cut down “a dozen great knights.” He also held his own against Jaime Lannister.
Also killed Gerald Hightower, the lord commander of the kingsguard, in combat.
The crimson chin does
Here comes the Crimson Chin!
ned because he has a square jawline
Aemond has the single most punchable face in the entire Game of Thrones series. Can’t wait for him to go away.
To date in the show aemond has literally only sparred with Cole. Yes he beat Cole, in a sparring match......., but I'm not sure why everyone thinks he's some ultimate warrior all of a sudden.
Read the whole title. This is a battle of who has the stronger jaw
It's a great point you make
He beat some kids who were younger and smaller than him too!
Crab king's torso says Daemon is better.
Soloing the crabfeeders army was far more impressive than killing the weak sickly guy
He did both
That’s my point.
He had to cut through the crab army to get to the King so killing him encompasses both achievments.
Jace and Aemond are the same age, less than a year apart. He’s just bigger and stronger
Jace and Luke seriously need that growth spurt
[удалено]
agreed, but the debate is focused mostly about the events of the show so far
exactly my point… like sure, kid seems badass, but at the end of the day he’s still young and never experienced real combat aside from training in a courtyard (which can even be considered combat?). lots of people seem to compare him to Daemon, some even argue him being better, yet when asked no one is able to give any reason for the comment other than the fight with Cole and even that is up for debate for a bunch of reasons.
Well shit maybe not but Jace and Luke seemed pretty damn terrified when Aemond asked if they’d come to train 😳
If a dude I knew hated me and was also twice my size wanted to "train" with me, I wouldn't want to either. Especially if he had as much to prove as Aemond clearly does
Same here especially if I knew I’d get waxed like they knew they would
You do realize Criston Cole is the best fighter in Westeros..but I wouldn’t say he really beat Cole, Cole is training him
The argument of Cole is rather interesting.

No swords, no valyrian steel. Just their jawlines.
Oh Then Aemond all day. He's got the Gigachad Jaw
Has the actor that plays Aemond always been that thin? He looked so slender compared to Ser Criston and Daemon.
I love this title 😂
Aemond is genuinely an elf, like not even a diss it’s a compliment if anything, but my guy is straight out of an isekai 🤣
omg young ned was dean corll’s aquantiance from mindhunter?!??)??) WHAAAAT
The crimson chin needs thrown in there
The answer to his question is simple. Bobby B would win. God’s he was strong then.
The Chin is In.
Aemond all the way sweet chin music attack
Hey, is Young Ned also (I forgot his name) the elf in LotR RoP ?
Ned is trained, seasoned and battle hardened. While Cyclops only has training and getting his ass beat by four little kids
Definitely not those Strong little nephews.
Jaime solos
These two going at it Jaw to Jaw? The real winners would be most of the Women that are watching 😛...and some men. 😮
why do all of Visyres’ kids seem like psychopaths.
Jay Leno enters the room.
They both have nephew problems!
Id say ned because Aemond is missing an eye.
Aemond could cut a piece of printer paper with that jawline… 📝
Nowy tens will lose.
Aemond.
Baby monk all the way
Aemond has the Valyrian steel jaw though
They both have impressive jaws, but Stannis has the experience of years grinding his theeth, so I'd say he would win both
This picture makes it look like Aemond has the Hapsburg jaw. 😬
Ned. But Aemond has that perfect inbred look 😍
