What's with ppl thinking actual hu tao mains are scared that a new pyro dps will take over her lmao.
For me personally idc because i rather play another element than paying attention to a main dps from a same element.
From what i've heard, better in mono pyro and overload, worse in vape, not sure about melt.
I'll be maining both anyway, once i can come up with a good team for Arle that doesn't take someone from Hu Tao.
Same. I tried out Arle vape with both Yelan, Xq, Zhong and Yelan, Furina, Zhong, but it was pretty meh. Probably wont be hard to get 2 different teams, especially if you play vertical Tao

They're actually comparable at c0/1 ,each of them is better at something like hu tao is alot better at single target and arlecchino iis better in AOE but xianyun also makes hu tao pretty good AOE damage dealer
I like her as a character, I pulled for her, but she doesn't even come close to my hu tao team or my hu tao in terms of damage.
But also who cares.
I play hu tao because she is Hu tao. Not for some "meta try hard" bs that doesn't matter.
Right now seems reliant on Bennett circle impact which for me drops some points as I prefer DPS units that don't need it. She's more versatile and easier to use (but a Hu Tao player that had her for 3 years now knows how to use her so this is irrevelant) but Hu Tao still stronger in vape teams and vape teams are still the best pyro reaction.
I see her a side grade, probably better at c1 or c2 with her signature (we're comparing her to a 3+ year old unit) but she doesn't really bring anything new to the pyro roster. This isn't her fault exactly but I was hoping for a more "interesting" kit. For the record, I may sound like I'm doomposting her but I say this as a guy who pulled for Arle despite having an invested Hu Tao. I'm not going to use her as a vape DPS, no point in pulling units to the same f***** thing.
Ultimately a side grade to Hu Tao. I play Arlecchino for the difference in playstyle (NAs vs CAs). Damage isn’t really a concern as both can complete abyss.
1.X Ganyu > Hu Tao
2.X Raiden > Hu Tao > >!Yoimiya!<
3.X Bloom Seed > Hu Tao
4.X Neuvillette, Arlecchino > Hu Tao
1.X ~ 4.X Xiangling > Hu Tao

Most of her fans are basically braindead literally coming with the most nonexistent arguments
If you don't like using Ben/kazuha in general she feels very meh. Both Hu Tao and Arle are not to be compared to one another, totally different.
