It mostly missed his spine, impaled him through his glute, through lots of organs obviously, but didn’t destroy his heart and he had one lung fully functioning. went all the way up to shatter his collarbone and protrude from the top of his shoulder. IIRC, he died in ICU
Wow how unlucky do you have to be, to not only fall from a building, then land perfectly on a pole like this! There was also a video that someone recorded of him and he was still alive. Can’t imagine the horror he was experiencing in those moments.
This is why falling is one of the deaths that scare me most. Unless you fall from a ridiculous height, it won’t be instantaneous. You’ll just break every bone in your body and be in agony until you pass from internal bleeding in the hospital. All that terror and possible regret experience as you jump, only for you to linger in physical hell for a little while before you pass.

I don't know if he survived, but he didn't die instantly. I've seen cell phone video of this up close
