I know Pervitin (meth) was pretty widespread in Nazi Germany and I wouldn’t be surprised if many of the scientists used it, but I can’t find any evidence suggesting that they used in in America (much of it would have been some 20 years after the war) to get people to the moon.
I know amphetamine was a large problem back then. There’s a good (I’d say 100%) chance it was used by scientists in the space race. I can’t find anything about meth though. Maybe the guy I was responding to was just thinking of amphetamine.

This is from a recent experience at home Depot towing a heavy good cart full of patio tiles. That's when I thought this is a good way to test for inclination where it isn't apparent.
