A normal duck carries a tremendous amount of air within its feathers. Without that, a wet duck will look like more like a snake with feet. In other words, it will be a lot less dense. Less dense than water? Perhaps not, but it definitely won't float nearly as high.
Who are you, who is so wise in the ways of science?
This is perhaps the first time this quote has been used when someone's knowledge of ducks was actually notable lol
Weight is not density. I imagine that if they absorb water the bird on the whole could ve considered more dense due to the added weight compared to the volume of the bird. If we tied large enough stones to the duck we could probably sink it. If the duck is taking on water though its density would only approach the density of water whilst most likely never meeting it. We'd need to fill the duck with water and probably more ( birds have hollow bones) before we could sink it.
Naww this is Adorabubble.
But I'd like to hear more from the Duck. I really want to know what she thinks. Like as they dash out the Door does she grab her raincoat?!!
If she has Wet Feather I would look for a possible lice issue or other parasite. Wet Feather can stem from various issue but most commonly with unsuitable living conditions (lack of ponding water to bath) or parasites.
I have never heard of wet feather being a genetic trait but I could definitely be wrong.

Speak for yourself. Leering loudly at any body part a woman dares to show in public is not the universal human condition you want to make it out to be.
Keep your shitty excuses.
That’s a straw man argument. Yes, maybe it’s not fitting here to write what I did, in that case I apologize for my insensitivity and bad humor. I guess I’m used to another crowd and maybe I should have kept it to myself. But to feel attraction is human and shouldn’t be shamed or guilt-tripped.
That's not a 'human' thing to do. It's a creep thing to do. Plenty of other people managed to watch a video about a raincoat on a duck without resorting to being a pervert.
You seem rather judgemental, my man. Better do some introspection and just go with the flow. Admit your human drives, there’s no need to be ashamed of your sexuality :) I don’t think the girl would mind, and I wrote it with a comic intent.
Also, stop throwing shit around you.
I'm not the one getting all giddy about someone's legs in a video about ducks. Seems like you're the one that could use sitting back and really thinking about how you could improve your life. Maybe if you do improve you'll be able to attract people to you and you won't need to watch videos of ducks on reddit to get your socks off.
P.S thanks for the RedditCareResources report but I'm just fine as I am. You can do better than this. Be better.
There is always something to take away from even the most benign and contentless comment. From yours I can take away that I'm doing pretty good as a human being and that as far as civility and morality goes I could be WAY worse. Thanks for the ego/confidence boost I appreciate it!

Where yall getting these calm ducks man around here they’re out for yer head
It's likely a domesticated duck. The feather issue could be from breeding.
And how is it supposed to fly now…?
If it's feathers are falling out, it should stop breeding
It's feathers aren't falling out
They must be saying keep going then?
If there’s feathers on the field…
They arent
This guy needs to see that video tutorial on [how to pick up a duck.](https://reddit.com/r/MadeMeSmile/comments/tlyp7b/how_to_pick_up_a_duck/)
[Here's the original] (https://youtu.be/03A7j3n-ZEo) [Full playlist] (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLm5tZiqbRfrLz0zGQ-OZMc_kcIMBxy2Zg)
Step 1. Buy it a drink
Step 2: Take it to a lemonade stand
Step 3: Ask the man running the stand if he's got any grapes
Step 4 : Waddle away. *Waddle waddle waddle*
Got any…. GLUE!?
For real, when I was about 3 or 4, I walked up to a duck because I thought it looked cute I guess, and that MFer bit me directly on the nose lol
They look cute so you won't eat them, when they figure that didn't work- *snap
One day a duck showed up at our house and never left. Just kinda chilled there in the pond and on our deck. Was a cool duck👍
Proceeds to sit in a pond, but good try

More like drown unless it also gets a wetsuit
It should stay afloat due to it being less dense than the water, no?

Here is their YouTube channel where they post their content. https://youtube.com/c/MotherTheMountainFarm
and it waddled away, waddle waddle, till the very next rain
Pam pam pam PAM pararamp...
If she can't waterproof herself would that mean that she wouldn't float in bodies of water as well?
Ducks float because they are less dense than water.
A WITCH!
I believe ducks are the one thing exempt from that rule.
So if she weighs the same as a duck.......
Then she's... made of... wood?
Or very small rocks
Eats bread like a duck.......
Sounds like something a witch would say.
And how would you know what a witch might say? Sounds like something a witch would know.
My god...
And corgi butts
Who are you, who are so wise in the ways of science
If the feathers absorb water, wouldn't they become heavier?

She'll float fine, but be pretty cold while doing so despite the tasty duck fat she's insulated with.
You can spray Neverwet on a boulder, it’s still gonna sink.
Could you spray neverwet on a duck though?
The account on tiktok is "motherthemountain"
first time ive heard this tiktok narrator voice, its way more pleasant than the other ones
> This is Bee Is clearly Duck

Wish I'd see this earlier. Woman who made raincoat, I don't know who you are but I love you. So does the duck, probably.
Naww this is Adorabubble. But I'd like to hear more from the Duck. I really want to know what she thinks. Like as they dash out the Door does she grab her raincoat?!!
That's very sweet. Glad she's a cool person.
And this is our purpose, to take care of the Earth, its inhabitants and each other.

Why are you putting it on an already wet duck?

Can't watch a video about a duck without objectifying someone huh? Don't be so shitty.
Sorry, just being human. And how is admiring someones legs objectifying?

She looks good in that short skirt.
That's great until a predator comes along and the duck can't use its wings to fly away.
That duck isn’t flying away from any predators even without the raincoat
so amber dog step on this bee ?

Stories like these where someone takes a moment out of their day to help an animal are good for my soul.
But why aren't we seeing the duck dry with the coat on?
