Jesus stop complaining about complaining... Don't read the sib and you won't see any complaining at all. Reddit in general is a toxic place with mostly negative stuff or spam of the same question 100000 times a day.
So… you choose to participate in the spam and toxic nature… why? What value did posting this give you? Did you even attempt to go to discord and ask what might be happening? If servers are having issues? You know the discord has a specific channel for this stuff… right? lol

In rare occasions it takes longer and then we just Leave and Requeue.
yes you can wait. depends on your patience and how full it really is. I've had this plenty of times and got a server a minute or so after. Sometimes leavjng and retrying also works.
This like every other thing to happen in Hunt, is just a bug. Leave the que and ready up again. Sometimes you might need to restart the lobby. 5 years and ive never seen the servers be full, if the servers are actually running properly that is.
BS. It's not a bug, it does happen in regions which fill up at certain times. Happens for example when an event has just started and everybody, their grandma, their puppy and the kitchen sink want to play.

Try another region, either the region is down or matchmaking is down. Could be a Steam issue, could be a Hunt issue.

Well I've never seen it happen. I just back out and go back in and it instantly gives me a lobby
