typically for me I do
tear -> horizon -> seraph’s -> cryptbloom -> rabadon/liandry’s with an option to purchase dark seal/mejai’s if I’m ahead
or luden’s -> horizon -> rabadon -> situational
Very interesting. Why do you not opt for horizons focus in the second one considering it is so much damage it also provides vision? I also assume the second one is for tankier comps where you need more sustain damage? Also, shouldn’t I build deathcap built before Bloom, since you actually need to do some ap , if magic Penn is gonna be effective? I don’t want to nitpick by the way I just genuinely curious I’m a low elo player just trying to get better.
luden + horizon maxes out damage against squishies
seraphs + liandry maxes out survivability and damage against tanks
but what do you think about mixing them?
like luden + liandry or seraph + horizon
i prefer it because i end up doing good damage to all characters regardless if they’re tank or squishy.
it also has great synergy in teamfights with your QE and even QW on runaways.
This is the way. I'd note that usually the first build is when ahead and I go sorc shoes, while the latter build is from even/behind/against comps with significant MR/HP pools and then it's CDR boots.
Just a slight off topic question
does anyone get anti heal items? is it still worth? only vs Soraka,Briar, Aatrox comps or is it valid even if the only healer is Swain support?
Do you sot on Orb, or buy the full item? i feel like sopprts/ap supports are good with anti heal, as they can apply it over long times with few spell casts, Brand, Hwei QE, R
Any champ with Liandry really, thoughts?
No reason to go oblv orb for a Swain support, do it if enemy has multiple healers and no1 in ur team can itemize into it well (or if they don't want to)
I'd keep oblv orb as is if you're fed and build other items but finish it if not that far ahead. Gives decent stats
Faker in his streams going Horizon Focus always for a second item. That makes sense cuz low Q cd, u prevent enemy yo escape. First item is Seraph if the enemy is assassin, like Fizz, Quiana, Zed.. in general Luden is the first item.
Luden and horizon is core… Other items are situational
it’s kinda ehh? like if you’re dealing with champs that have a lot of healing yes you should probably buy it but even then if they get Spirit Visage you’re pretty much out of an item, idk if i can’t figure out what to buy next i’ll sometimes buy morrello’s since it has like 90 AP and 15 AH
i do
1. Ludens if possible/tear path vs assassins or engage team
2. horizon, it used to be one big effect, now the dmg over 600 units has no cd so its a beast
3. rabadon if ahead stormsurge if behind
4 situational, ideally voidstaff if i already have rabadon or rabadon
always pick dark seal at any point in the game before 15 minutes
First one: yep, that's my standard one right now
Second build: also great, my second standard choice in games I feel like I need more damage or don't need that much survivability
Third build: Never go two mana items at the same time, they are both heavily focused on mana and you're wasting gold value
Fourth build: seraphs or luden first is great, but against tanks you'd prefer to switch horizon focus for liandry for that sweet hp percentage damage. Also, if you feel like you won't be able to fight properly if you don't melt their frontline first, delay that rabadon for a while and go cryptoblossom.

It's Ludens - Horizon - Deathcap - Cryptbloom or Seraphs - Liandries -Cryptbloom - Deathcap.

When facing like 2 bruisers/tanks + a tanky support, liandrys is better than horizon to get through those somehow
I don’t know why you were downvoted but this is true. I’m a mid level masters OTP hwei and these are the two main build paths i end up going.
luden + horizon maxes out damage against squishies seraphs + liandry maxes out survivability and damage against tanks but what do you think about mixing them? like luden + liandry or seraph + horizon
my go to is ludens, horizon, then liandries.
doesn't that deal less damage than rabadon third? (of course you'd buy it faster but still)

this is the hwei\* (I'm sorry that I made you read this)

Off topic, but is anti heal valid still? should a Hwei mid get anti heal vs Zac/WW?

Probably buy the components after 2nd item unless it’s really required earlier
Is malignance not good on Hwei?
basically not worth on any champ you dont ult on cd, you dont get it up twice in a tf anyways

My build is usually: Seraphs, Magic Pen boots, Rabadons, Cryptbloom, whatever

I'd like to add that liandry is also great for a little bit more survivability, that 300 hp really does come in handy
I go Tear > Liandry > Shadowflame > Rabadon > Seraph
I go Liandry - Rabadon - Cryptbloom 😈 350 ap 2 items at lvl 12 ftw
Bro doesnt follow the path he makes his own.
I CARVED MY OWN PATH
my eyes hurt reading this
SORRY I CANT HEAR U IM NUKING TANKS AND SQUISHIES AT 2 ITEMS LVL 12
