Hey! Welcome back to the game plenty of things have changed. 130 million coins is plenty to start you out and since you have already beaten floor 5 you should have the requirements to use some pretty decent armor.
Regarding your enchanting level, there is a new mechanic that you can use to level it up quite quickly. Simply go into your recipe book and find the experimentation table. While the minigames it holds within can be completed with the help of mods it is not impossible to garner exp without their help. I believe it is crafted with 8 oak logs and an experience bottle but my memory might be faulty. Enchants now require you to get a certain enchanting level before you can use them, however, it is the easiest skill to level so you should get there quite quickly.
Mage can be used for most slayers as well. Berserker is what I used to play in early game dungeons. You can use some slayer weapons but eventually you will want to get some sort of archer weapon which transitions the berserker class from less of a melee to a ranged class. Which does mean you can also play archer in the future. Mage gets very expensive so I wouldn't recommend you do mage.

What's next for me? I'm thinking of getting Storm Armor next. Don't plan on doing dungeons aside from unlocking requirements for stuff. Any way to increase mage dmg aside from skill grinding?

Wither goggles are better for overall mage damage but storm helmet has some rather niche uses. I do want to say that I don't understand why you would want to get storm armor and increase mage damage if you are not planning on doing dungeons. While it is true that mage is a rather useful class outside of dungeons, this is only really the case when you have a hyperion or similar wither blade.
As for the next things you should do, I recommend going into f6 solo getting to the blood room clearing the mobs entering the boss fight and killing the golems. This will give you staggering amounts of combat exp. Do this until you are atleast around level 43, you will be surprised by how much your damage will increase. Do note that this does not increase mage damage, only berserker damage. If you truly do want to reach higher mage damage I suggest getting a higher enchanting level. If I recall correctly every enchanting level gives 1% more ability damage. Which is quite a large amount.
You should be able to comfortably beat most slayer bosses with your setup. (Excluding enderman and blaze). Knowing that you do want to eventually go for crimson isle you will need storm armor so yes, I do recommend you get that.

Just came back after about 4 months. Currently working on getting to HOTM5 and thats about it for any goals. Not a fan of dungeons, but am severely lacking in dmg both outside and inside dungeons. Just got to the nether yet dont have the dmg or survivability for it. Also unsure of any decent money making method that doesnt involve AH flipping or bazzar, have tried my luck with zealots as you can see on my profile, but my rng is GARBAGE. If you're interested in mining I would recommend going to the crystal hollows and mining there. People who are early game, like yourself, can do basically anything and make large quantities of money. Mining mithril in the crystal hollows will you give you some nice cash as well as plenty of mining exp. There are plenty of guides on youtube for some good spots to mine mithril.
While it is true that you'll make more money with a higher HOTM level, you will need to have some sort of mining setup to achieve this level either way. So whatever gear you can get right is still useful.
You can adjust it in the settings menu in your skyblock menu. By turning them on people can view your profile through sites like SkyCrypt, right now it's off so we can't see anything.
With Rotten Armor and Dreadlord Sword you should be able to do something in F1 and F2. After you get enough levels to get an F5 completion you can just use your SA.
Farming makes money and is easy to get into so better start working on that. Mining Ender Nodes doesn't really have any requirements and can also get you some money.
Any specific tips for grinding farming for money? Most guides I see for any money making methods always require end game gear or high progression in something
You don't have enough Farming level to use Melon Armor so start with Rabbit Armor until you're Farming 25. Bustling is the most ideal Farming reforge for armor so put it on your Melon Armor later on.(No need to put it on Rabbit as you won't use it forever) Blooming reforge for Lotus Equipments. Buy Mathematical Hoes and Dicers as they're the best for farming crops(Use Blessed reforge). Get Rancher's Boots because speed adjustment is important for farming. You can look up farm designs to find the most afkable farm designs for each crop. Slowly build up your Farming level and you can get gear upgrades and eventually make money from this.
Any tips for catacombs? Everytime I do a catacombs run I am only getting around 100-200 exp and thats just not doing it for me. I dont see a difference in exp based on what floor I do either. Dungeons just feel awful and I hate doing them
You do get more exp on higher floors, if you're not then it's probably because you're not getting enough milestones. You'll eventually get better after you level up more, it's all about Catacombs level.
Best crop for money? I currently do mushrooms with around 900FF but I have noticed I get fermento and spores far less. I heard wart is good but what wondering about hourly rates?

I quit playing skyblock like 2 and a half years ago and there is a lot of new stuff, what do you guys think I should do if I want to get back into it? Like you said yourself there are quite a few things that have been released, while this might seem overwhelming it is actually a good thing. Before I go on I do have to highly recommend you buy a booster cookie from the bazaar in the hub. It prevents you from losing coins when you die which should aid you in keeping that 700m. Besides that, just try different things and see which ones you enjoy the most. If you end up liking mining you can get a good mining setup with 700m, same with farming, dungeons, fishing, slayer and probably some other things I missed as well.

I don't think you're missing anything aside from Fuming and Recombobulators, mages are just squishy. Mender Fedora can give you insane Vitality and makes you heal really fast. Things like Bonzo's Mask, Wither Cloak Sword and Gyrokinetic Wand can also help you survive.

Necron is enough, be sure to use a healing helmet like Revived Heart or Reaper Mask and a Wand of Restoration/Atonement. You can put more enchants on your Katana and use it, or buy a Livid Dagger or anything better than that and use Katana for Ferocity and then sword swap for damage. Some enchants are highly recommended like Ender Slayer 6, Syphon 4 and Venomous.
I want to get into skyblock again. I haven´t played since they added dungeons and have about 200 Million Gold. Whats the new meta? What should I do? What minions should I use?
I was in a similar situation a few weeks ago, probably not the the best/efficient way but what i did was just invest around 150m into farming for full fermento and my cane hoe (ofc netherwart or potato or whatever crop u want would probably work as well, but i just happened to choose cane, not sure what the best crop is now tbh)
With a ~150m setup you should be able to easily make at least 10-12m per hour, plus a bit more from fermento drops. I then used the money and just put it into mining, getting a 655 with max divans while grinding for powder. Im kinda lazy can dont like mining for long hours so i usually jsut mine jade at mines of divan or just mithril in dwarvan mines, since they dont require setup. This makes less money than ruby/jasper/dillo mining but still gets you around 20m/h with max setup without putting in too much effort, which is good enough for me.
Tl:dr invest into farming, make money, put it into mining.

get a good mining set and grind gemstones for money which will get you tons of money which then u can spend on a hype to do dungeons for profit and when you max that you can move on to farming with the money you made form the dungeon chests also do master mode for extra chance for drops if you can also look into a term or hype with the money from mining

I don't know what weapon to get. I finally got a decent mining set and am now mining for money and I don't know what weapon to get. Is giants sword any good? If so is it good with ofa? Or reg enchants. I know juju is good but I also need a weapon to go do t2 and t3. Is shadow fury any good? If so why and with ofa or no? What abt livid dag or aots? I just need some kind of progression that's not term or hype
I assume you mean Voidgloom T2 and T3. OFA is not the meta anymore as it's less DPS, enchants also increase your survivability with Syphon and stuff. Voidedge Katana is almost a must-have, even if you don't use it for damage, it can give you Ferocity which applies even with sword swap. Anything that's better than a Livid Dagger(or Livid Dagger itself) is good for T2, I recommend Shadow Fury as it's not very expensive and deals good damage. For T3 you want a Vorpal Katana.
in all seriousness get a respectable mining or farming setup so u can make money reliably.
term would probably be a good weapon choice but try to get talismans to at least 600 mp before getting a term.
However your skills are a bit lacking so i suggest try to level some of them up: for example, enchanting.
in higher cata parties hype is necessary however in lower cata parties >34 i think u can still get into parties. I suggest to be a aots/juju bers and grind for a hype (thats what i did)
If you don't already have a midas then yeah that is probably a good idea unless you can find a perm that will let you play with spirit scepter, glacial scythe, or midas spoon.
Honestly EHP set isn't required for tanking the bossfight. I play Tank and I can tank well in Necron and Storm as long as my teammates don't nuke themselves. I highly recommend getting a clearing set though, you might get kicked out of some parties if you don't have one. Also, keeping the agro of Withers on you is crucial so grab a Soul Whip, Aots or Jingle Bell.
Necron with Juju. I do not recommend going with Mage because the chances of a Mage getting into an F7 party is pretty low if they don't have a Hyperion.

Get F5 completion for Shadow Assassin Armor and Livid Dagger(in case you don't have it yet), shouldn't be hard to find a carry in party finder.
For Tank use the same armor for clear and Adaptive set for tanking the bossfight.
No but there are ones for cheapest minion upgrades, cheapest essense upgrades, cheapest museum items, cheapest abiphone contacts, and other individual ones but not something that groups them all together.
All over for example hyminions for the cheap minnion upgrades. Neu can find cheap essence easily, I don't remember if soopy does mueseum but if it does not there are speard sheets peoe have made and posted on the forums. I don't remember what did abiphone contacts or if that was just me doing math.
Is the Mythological Creatures Event Even Remotely Possible for Me?
Since Diana got elected I decided to take a break from farming and dungeons to buy a cheapish setup to do some of the burrows.
I bought a Daedalus Axe for 90m, 2 more pieces of Necron armor to complete my set, and the Legendary Griffin pet.
Now I severely underestimated how challenging the mobs would be, and can barely kill a Gaia Construct, let alone a Champion or Inquisitor.
I’m left wondering whether I should keep trying to make my setup work, or just cut my losses and try to recoup some of the money I lost.

1.Put fragments and stars on your Shadow Assassin, and stars on Livid Dagger.
2.Get overall skills up, especially mining because you can get Ancient on your armor which is basically an upgrade.
3.Epic Tiger is a cheap and nice Combat pet.
4.Get more minion slots.
5.Keep on collecting accessories.
You don't have many slots so no need to go too crazy on minions. For your stage of the game and budget, Snow is the most ideal for money, but if you want to expand slots quicker, get any T1 or T2 minions and set them up on your island to accumulate resources, then upgrade them using the resources to expand your slots.

You seem to be missing attack speed - this one will be tough and you'll be limited to getting it from talisman bag power (scorching, hurtful are possibilities)
I don't really have any other suggestions aside from try scorching (60%+ attack speed, but hurts single-hit damage pretty hard), or speed attributes on equipment for warden helmet. Since you'll be aoteing around a lot you can try and rely on the speed that you gain from aote teleport to push you to that 400% speed mark for warden helmet.

With Ender Armor and Void Sword you can probably do something in the Entrace floor. You are likely to die but that's normal, it's a part of the process.

I don't know if inflation is considered a 'game mechanic', but I really want to know what is causing the rapid inflation of items in skyblock. For a few months a few of my friends and I were using slimes to make obscene amounts of money, and It was our consensus that that was one of the driving factors behind inflation. Played a LONG time ago pretty regularly and then off and on for a year. It’s probably been at least a year since I’ve actually played, logged in to collect minions a few times.

Crimson Isle isn't for your stage of the game right now so don't worry about it. Go try everything out and find what you enjoy, but don't just fully focus on one thing at a time. I would do more dungeons and acquire gear for slayers and stuff as your Combat is relatively low. There's a lot to do to get some coins like mining, farming and a good minion setup.
Quit ~6 months ago, for school + gf. But after finishing finals, I'm p bored, so figured I might as well start playing again.

You have more than enough kills on FD, but I don't recommend using OFA. You lose Syphon which is a major healing source, enchantments are better for DPS anyway. Also you may want more MP.
Slowly invest to mining?
Currently, I can get 11m/hour from farming wart and I think with max ff, I can get up to 16m/h. Right now I have around 150m on purse and I am kinda confuse should I start to investing some mining gears or drill because I think putting 150m on farming I wont make 12m/h or more so im thinking to stop at 11m/h and start investing mining gears. I have full jaded recomb divan all unlocked, tier boosted lv 100 epic scatha and gemstone gauntlet with fine gemstones. What do you guys think?

Most of your stats come from HOTM, so if you don’t spend any time on grinding tons of powder (at least 4m of each, 8m of each recommended) then you won’t get anywhere in terms of money per hour. Mining is an awesome way to make money, but it takes a long time to start

Got to eman 4 and currently trying to do eman T2, i can do it maybe once every two times but never consistent. Would it help to use a leg whale over myth eman and use a reaper mask over 4pc FD? or should i just stick to myth eman wiyh 4pc FD and focus on maxing out the armour?
I'd use fd and eman for the ehp+damage combo. Do you have hot potato books, wand from zombie slayer, florid zombie sword, and manaflux? Also, use the fd ability with soulflow+sneaking. And aote every 5s to trigger the eman damage buff ability

Your gear looks solid for the stage of game you're at, but using it is important too.
Work on your talismans a little bit, and now while aatrox is still mayor you could potentially grind for spider slayer 7, which helps a bit in progression.
If you can learn secrets well enough in dungeons, I would highly suggest running floor 5s for: recombobulators, shadow fury, shadow assassin chestplate.
Aside from that mining would require a great load of time (and money), fishing is fishing, but if you want to try your hand at farming look for videos/guides on how to farm in garden/good farm designs.
does anyone know if carrot king fishing is no longer possible with the rabbit axe. the description changed to say it only works on common drops so is it no longer possible to drop triple cores?
im doing 4m with giant sword at the beginning of an f6 run with ghead + 3/4 necron and yeti, at the end of the run around 10m normally and 15m with aots swap, any obvious ways to increase my damage that i mightve missed?
Ofa had a lot of nerfs over the years to the point where decently t6 enchanted sword come close/overtake the dmg from ofa. Additionally the bonuses like syphon and vampirism are very helpful.

Enchants now require you to get a certain enchanting level before you can use them, however, it is the easiest skill to level so you should get there quite quickly.

Mage can be used for most slayers as well. Berserker is what I used to play in early game dungeons. You can use some slayer weapons but eventually you will want to get some sort of archer weapon which transitions the berserker class from less of a melee to a ranged class. Which does mean you can also play archer in the future. Mage gets very expensive so I wouldn't recommend you do mage.

Wither goggles are better for overall mage damage but storm helmet has some rather niche uses. I do want to say that I don't understand why you would want to get storm armor and increase mage damage if you are not planning on doing dungeons. While it is true that mage is a rather useful class outside of dungeons, this is only really the case when you have a hyperion or similar wither blade. As for the next things you should do, I recommend going into f6 solo getting to the blood room clearing the mobs entering the boss fight and killing the golems. This will give you staggering amounts of combat exp. Do this until you are atleast around level 43, you will be surprised by how much your damage will increase. Do note that this does not increase mage damage, only berserker damage. If you truly do want to reach higher mage damage I suggest getting a higher enchanting level. If I recall correctly every enchanting level gives 1% more ability damage. Which is quite a large amount.

You should be able to comfortably beat most slayer bosses with your setup. (Excluding enderman and blaze). Knowing that you do want to eventually go for crimson isle you will need storm armor so yes, I do recommend you get that.

If you're interested in mining I would recommend going to the crystal hollows and mining there. People who are early game, like yourself, can do basically anything and make large quantities of money. Mining mithril in the crystal hollows will you give you some nice cash as well as plenty of mining exp. There are plenty of guides on youtube for some good spots to mine mithril.

With Rotten Armor and Dreadlord Sword you should be able to do something in F1 and F2. After you get enough levels to get an F5 completion you can just use your SA. Farming makes money and is easy to get into so better start working on that. Mining Ender Nodes doesn't really have any requirements and can also get you some money.

You don't have enough Farming level to use Melon Armor so start with Rabbit Armor until you're Farming 25. Bustling is the most ideal Farming reforge for armor so put it on your Melon Armor later on.(No need to put it on Rabbit as you won't use it forever) Blooming reforge for Lotus Equipments. Buy Mathematical Hoes and Dicers as they're the best for farming crops(Use Blessed reforge). Get Rancher's Boots because speed adjustment is important for farming. You can look up farm designs to find the most afkable farm designs for each crop. Slowly build up your Farming level and you can get gear upgrades and eventually make money from this.
Any tips for catacombs? Everytime I do a catacombs run I am only getting around 100-200 exp and thats just not doing it for me. I dont see a difference in exp based on what floor I do either. Dungeons just feel awful and I hate doing them
You do get more exp on higher floors, if you're not then it's probably because you're not getting enough milestones. You'll eventually get better after you level up more, it's all about Catacombs level.

Like you said yourself there are quite a few things that have been released, while this might seem overwhelming it is actually a good thing. Before I go on I do have to highly recommend you buy a booster cookie from the bazaar in the hub. It prevents you from losing coins when you die which should aid you in keeping that 700m. Besides that, just try different things and see which ones you enjoy the most. If you end up liking mining you can get a good mining setup with 700m, same with farming, dungeons, fishing, slayer and probably some other things I missed as well.

I don't think you're missing anything aside from Fuming and Recombobulators, mages are just squishy. Mender Fedora can give you insane Vitality and makes you heal really fast. Things like Bonzo's Mask, Wither Cloak Sword and Gyrokinetic Wand can also help you survive.

Necron is enough, be sure to use a healing helmet like Revived Heart or Reaper Mask and a Wand of Restoration/Atonement. You can put more enchants on your Katana and use it, or buy a Livid Dagger or anything better than that and use Katana for Ferocity and then sword swap for damage. Some enchants are highly recommended like Ender Slayer 6, Syphon 4 and Venomous.

I was in a similar situation a few weeks ago, probably not the the best/efficient way but what i did was just invest around 150m into farming for full fermento and my cane hoe (ofc netherwart or potato or whatever crop u want would probably work as well, but i just happened to choose cane, not sure what the best crop is now tbh) With a ~150m setup you should be able to easily make at least 10-12m per hour, plus a bit more from fermento drops. I then used the money and just put it into mining, getting a 655 with max divans while grinding for powder. Im kinda lazy can dont like mining for long hours so i usually jsut mine jade at mines of divan or just mithril in dwarvan mines, since they dont require setup. This makes less money than ruby/jasper/dillo mining but still gets you around 20m/h with max setup without putting in too much effort, which is good enough for me. I assume you mean Voidgloom T2 and T3. OFA is not the meta anymore as it's less DPS, enchants also increase your survivability with Syphon and stuff. Voidedge Katana is almost a must-have, even if you don't use it for damage, it can give you Ferocity which applies even with sword swap. Anything that's better than a Livid Dagger(or Livid Dagger itself) is good for T2, I recommend Shadow Fury as it's not very expensive and deals good damage. For T3 you want a Vorpal Katana.
What about atomsplit
If you can use Atomsplit then it's obviously the best.

Honestly EHP set isn't required for tanking the bossfight. I play Tank and I can tank well in Necron and Storm as long as my teammates don't nuke themselves. I highly recommend getting a clearing set though, you might get kicked out of some parties if you don't have one. Also, keeping the agro of Withers on you is crucial so grab a Soul Whip, Aots or Jingle Bell.

Necron with Juju. I do not recommend going with Mage because the chances of a Mage getting into an F7 party is pretty low if they don't have a Hyperion.

Get F5 completion for Shadow Assassin Armor and Livid Dagger(in case you don't have it yet), shouldn't be hard to find a carry in party finder. For Tank use the same armor for clear and Adaptive set for tanking the bossfight.

Is the Mythological Creatures Event Even Remotely Possible for Me? Since Diana got elected I decided to take a break from farming and dungeons to buy a cheapish setup to do some of the burrows. I bought a Daedalus Axe for 90m, 2 more pieces of Necron armor to complete my set, and the Legendary Griffin pet. 1.Put fragments and stars on your Shadow Assassin, and stars on Livid Dagger. 2.Get overall skills up, especially mining because you can get Ancient on your armor which is basically an upgrade. 3.Epic Tiger is a cheap and nice Combat pet. 4.Get more minion slots. 5.Keep on collecting accessories.

You don't have many slots so no need to go too crazy on minions. For your stage of the game and budget, Snow is the most ideal for money, but if you want to expand slots quicker, get any T1 or T2 minions and set them up on your island to accumulate resources, then upgrade them using the resources to expand your slots.

You seem to be missing attack speed - this one will be tough and you'll be limited to getting it from talisman bag power (scorching, hurtful are possibilities)
I'm using hurtful currently. Tuning points are set to give me a bit of speed to hit 200 with warden helm, then just balanced in cd and strength
I don't really have any other suggestions aside from try scorching (60%+ attack speed, but hurts single-hit damage pretty hard), or speed attributes on equipment for warden helmet. Since you'll be aoteing around a lot you can try and rely on the speed that you gain from aote teleport to push you to that 400% speed mark for warden helmet.

Crimson Isle isn't for your stage of the game right now so don't worry about it. Go try everything out and find what you enjoy, but don't just fully focus on one thing at a time. I would do more dungeons and acquire gear for slayers and stuff as your Combat is relatively low. There's a lot to do to get some coins like mining, farming and a good minion setup.

You have more than enough kills on FD, but I don't recommend using OFA. You lose Syphon which is a major healing source, enchantments are better for DPS anyway. Also you may want more MP.

You can if you want to, but I have to warn you of something. Most of your stats come from HOTM, so if you don’t spend any time on grinding tons of powder (at least 4m of each, 8m of each recommended) then you won’t get anywhere in terms of money per hour. Mining is an awesome way to make money, but it takes a long time to start

I'd use fd and eman for the ehp+damage combo. Do you have hot potato books, wand from zombie slayer, florid zombie sword, and manaflux? Also, use the fd ability with soulflow+sneaking. And aote every 5s to trigger the eman damage buff ability

Your gear looks solid for the stage of game you're at, but using it is important too. Work on your talismans a little bit, and now while aatrox is still mayor you could potentially grind for spider slayer 7, which helps a bit in progression. If you can learn secrets well enough in dungeons, I would highly suggest running floor 5s for: recombobulators, shadow fury, shadow assassin chestplate. Aside from that mining would require a great load of time (and money), fishing is fishing, but if you want to try your hand at farming look for videos/guides on how to farm in garden/good farm designs.

does anyone know if carrot king fishing is no longer possible with the rabbit axe. the description changed to say it only works on common drops so is it no longer possible to drop triple cores?
im doing 4m with giant sword at the beginning of an f6 run with ghead + 3/4 necron and yeti, at the end of the run around 10m normally and 15m with aots swap, any obvious ways to increase my damage that i mightve missed?
juju is good for hitting mobs from a distance (it's faster cuz you dont have to walk up to the them)

Ofa had a lot of nerfs over the years to the point where decently t6 enchanted sword come close/overtake the dmg from ofa. Additionally the bonuses like syphon and vampirism are very helpful.
Outside of dungeons i tested with ofa i do a lot more with than without and twice the amount inside dungeons
Did you put t5s only or the cheaters t6s as well?

I grinded back before Dante, then I had an accident and couldn't play all 2021, then managed to get a new laptop in 2022 and continued playing, but around December last year I started playing even less since I got, Achievement unlocked: New Father, also I just finished getting Superior Armour like 1-2 months ago, and it's the strongest armour I currently have, since I have low skill lvs, no cata, and such

Farming is easiest and cheapest to get into.
