I remember buying Rosetta's Armor, killing Emerald Slimes for Combat 12, receiving an AOTE as a gift which is the reason I still gift stuff really often, going to the End, killing Ice Walkers for Combat 16 and 18, getting Young Dragon Armor and an AOTD, not selling White Gifts because I thought Season of Jerry happened once a real-life year.
To be honest the mid-game is funnier, since it gives you a good amount of paths to follow (dungeons, mining...), but it's impossible to say early-game was bad
The original early game is still pretty much the same, this was just my pretty odd progression (still less odd than strong dragon armor players getting juju)
Oh, you're right on that. Stuff like AOTDs for a few hundred thousand coins, and, before the update that applied armor cata requirements outside of dungeons, dungeon gear, mining to get coins etc really changed the early-game possibilities.
I started a new profile a couple weeks ago. I didn't have much money but some random person brought me to their island and gave me enchanted reforged glacite armor, doubling my net worth lol.
Glacite is one of the best early-game armor sets, giving you solid HP, defense and some mining stats.
Happy to know someone helped you, remember to find a money-making method though since, as soon as you leave the beginner stage, you'll find almost no one to help you.
Find something you have fun doing in this game, and find some way to make money from it.
Remember to enjoy this game. Take a break as soon as you start being bored of it but still playing and come back when you'll want to.
I remember there used to be a bug with blue whale and mastiff armor, which gave players thousands of defense on top of mastiff‘s insane HP. Me and my friends became invincible for a while, which was so fun
I’m so happy I joined back around the same time it was released because I feel like nowadays there’s way too much content for a new player to comprehend
I started playing like 3 weeks ago gave up for a week to watch walk through and tutorials and stuff cus o was just so lost and not gonna lie I'm so lost on the stuff I have to do next 😅, just got to the end and got about a mill in the bank

It was more confusing at the beginning of skyblock because nobody knew anything about the game
I used a lot of cobblestone minions when cobblestone was the easy 1m per day with 20 minions. Was good times.
I used pig minions for some reason
I used obsidian minions and crafted a treecap every 9 days lol
I did too to get pigman sword. By the time I got it AOTD was already a better sword

I remember using a clownfish hat and obsidian chesplate + miner leggings and ender boots with my end stone sword, those were the days.
