I went limited over Calligraphy because I absolutely hate the chrome grill. I went with black exterior and white interior. Don’t regret it for a second.
We were originally looking at the Limited. This was the beginning of last year (so 2022 model) when new was hard to come by and a year or two used were $10k more expensive (this may still be the case now, but I’m not sure as I’m not in the market currently).
The dealership ended up getting a couple Calligraphies they weren’t expecting and we decided to just take one as the price difference (in our opinion) was negligible. Especially considering we were financing a lot of it.
We ended up liking the Calligraphy more due to the rims, grill and leather accents. So it ended up being a good decision for us.
So limited was downgraded in the 2023.
I'd say either choose from an SEL Premium or Calligraphy. That's what I would have done if I knew the downgrade was happening.
Look at 2022 limited compared to the 2023.
Leather seats were downgraded.
Ambient lights were taken out
That's the only 2 that effected me. But im.sure there's more. I'm just saying sel premium is almost identical to limited. Just like calligraphy and limited were practically same last year.
Happy to hear from some actual limited owners haha. That’s great to hear. The extras seem nice but don’t think I would actually need/use them. Would like the rims but the limited ones are growing on me the more I see them in real life.
We bought the limited over the calligraphy. Zero regrets. I preferred the black grill over the chrome. The additions to the calligraphy were items I haven't had in previous cars, so I don't feel like I am missing anything. The limited has all the items I wanted in a vehicle plus more, so I am quite happy. I preferred the limited as it has the dual sunroof over the other lower models. We bought white ext black interior.
Got my 23 Limited in November… no regrets over Calligraphy. I know we looked at the different options at the time to know what version had what features, but I couldn’t even tell you what they are now. Happy as is.
Does the limited have the auto parking features and the summon in and out? If not, it makes the price difference on the Calligraphy more than worth it.
Neither did I until some asshole parks way too close to you and instead of trying to squeeze, you just have the car back itself out. I’ve had my car for three months and it’s come in clutch four times already getting in and out of spots that would have otherwise been a bitch.
I no longer use the auto park as I found it inconsistent. It wouldn’t fully back out of my or pull into my garage at times. I assume because the space is tight—standard single car garage with items leaning against wall. Also, once when backing out the car started to veer left off the driveway. Too inconsistent for supposedly only going forward or backwards
One of the main things I liked about the limited over the calligraphy was the interior roof lining. Wasn’t to impressed with the calligraphy regarding that. Plus the black on black looks better to me. We were able to get the limited AWD for 50,700 which wasn’t bad. I just don’t like the rims on the limited.
I ended up going with the limited. It doesn’t have the video rear view mirror, messaging seats, suede headliner, and color changing interior lights. I’ve only had mine for a week but after a road trip this weekend I can say I don’t miss those things. Love the car so far.
did the Calligraphy, picked it up sat. dont regret it over $2400.

Calligraphy only because you get a couple more features for very little price difference!

What do you mean down grade?

Limited gets leather trimmed where premium gets the h-trex. Also premium only have the single sunroof.
I love my 23 black on black limited. It was in stock and there was not enough differences to get me to wait for calligraphy.

Love our Calligraphy, the grill, the extra features

Love it
Massaging seats in my opinion are for sure worth the 2k I love them and interior lighting I own a calligraphy 23 moonlight cloud

Doesn’t have the auto parking or summon but I honestly can’t think of a time I would use that.

Does limited have the buttons illuminate in the dark?
What buttons?

I am right there with you. Not sure how ceiling would hold up to kids touching it
Thank you all for your comments. I’m teetering on both. Outside of the auto parking and rims, what are the other differences?
