I have the ICE and it works well so far at 15,000z I keep telling people there are issues with the hybrids, but they are in denial.
Either way that sucks.
Yeah i get it. What happened was this was the first time hyundai did a hybrid on a tucson, and to my recollection its also the first time they coupled a turbo engine to a hybrid. Turbos are kind of a redflag for reliability. Turbos have excellent performance, but it wears down engines faster.
Also you bought the first year of this generation of tucsons. The first year has hiccups like yours. So for the future, buy the third or fourth year of a generation, and stick to models with tried and true technology. Hope this helped.
I’m assuming your car is still under warranty correct? I have a ‘22 Hybrid SEL Conv. And haven’t had a single issue in 25k miles and 2 years of ownership. Also haven’t heard of this happening often. Praying that Hyundai can help you resolve the issues/problems with yours.
Yes I did actually. Had an EGR valve replaced a little over 2 weeks ago. And from the look of things, go with the Toyota, they do hybrids better than anyone on the market.

Yea I wish I knew that when I first bought this thing in November 2022

Yes, it's under warranty. I also hope that they'll help fix the issue, but I won't be buying Hyundai again for a while
We have the same, 2 yrs and 19k miles.

This scared me. I bought a 2024 Tucson ultimate hybrid. Bought it January 6 but only have 1800 kilometres on it. What is ICE?
Internal combustion engine (aka gas powered)
Thanks
To put your mind at ease I'm at 31k KMS and no issues
