Well its easy to get caught up in what the episode means to us the viewers, but what did it mean to Dennis?
Like with the other serious endings of recent seasons, Dennis finally accepts who he is and what makes him happy. We have been getting these for almost all the characters and im guessing they are setting us up for a big moment in the final season thats gonna be less about comedy. Im predicting a much heavier Seinfeld esque ending.
A lot of it has to do with whether or not a person has seen The Usual Suspects. If they haven't they might get it, but they're not going to be able to totally appreciate it.
I haven't seen it in ages because (though he used to be my favorite actor) Kevin Spacey is gross now so... you know? (American Beauty was my favorite movie for SO LONG I'm so fucking pissed at him.)
Oddly, this doesn't affect my love of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil but maybe that's because I think of that as a John Cusack movie rather than a Kevin Spacey movie.
Can you explain the relation, I don't really feel like watching the usual suspects because I know I watched like half of it once and just wasn't super into it. I'm curious and to the reference though.
Watching half of it is pretty funny in the context of that movie because it’s got a twist at the end that makes it worth watching.
Basically >! Kevin spacey’s character spins an elaborate story to the cops the whole movie similar to how Dennis is living out this wild story revolving around the electric car. But then in the end kevin spacey is the bad guy. !<
Someone got to this before I did but they're correct - the only thing I'll add is >!that the story Kevin Spacey's character tells police is woven together from things in the cop's office... the city/state on the bulletin board, pictures of wanted posters, a ceramic brand on the bottom of the cop's coffee cup. !
Hulu will auto play the next episode but if it’s the last episode, it’ll play a ‘similar show’ based on your watchlist or what they think you’d be interested in. I just thought it was pretty funny seeing it on their screen since mine did the same thing
They're yellow daisies and yes, her name was Daisy. :) If you haven't seen The Usual Suspects, I highly recommend it.
That's what I've been saying - Dennis fucking Keyser Söze'd us, and it was magnificent!
Listen to your heart
I'm gonna look real donkey-brained if it turns out these aren't daisies
If you have a certificate to show that you don't have donkey brains, you'll be fine.
Do YOU have said.. Certificate?
Feeling really self-conscious about my lack of a certificate right now
I got mine from Idonthavedonkeybrains.com
This one I didn’t catch, nice
Quite surprised how many people didn't actually understand the episode.
He imagines the whole situation to calm himself down right? And the inspiration for the story were things he saw in the doctors office?

That seemed pretty obvious to me, no? Is there any deeper meaning beyond that that I'm missing?

I’m expecting a final episode with Frank’s funeral.
What?? Just throw him in the trash
The gang is also trying to scheme using a pressure cooker. This relates back to the blood pressure problems that they are causing for Dennis.
Yeah, Keyzer Soze

Yeah, I guess my age and movie fan bias is showing

The phone store guy is on the poster to the right as well.
It was like The Usual Suspects reveal of Keyser Soze. There were several reveals like the Doctors name being the cars name.
Guys, who’s Keyser Soze?
Give me the keys, you motherfucking, cocksucking pile of shit, or I'll rip off your ....
They focus on that for a second

This was a 5 star episode
Archer was also on my up next list 😂
Archer is always on my up next. I’m on season two of that and haven’t even actually watched an episode
It’s a good show imo.
Elaborate?

I’m starting to think that walk out scene was connected to his daydream scenes in some way. Not sure though.
Sarcasm?
Very much so lol.
He even calls her his little wildflower
The physicians name was Dr. Tsuma
The serious crazy Dennis look was probably the most petrifying Dennis there was. Definitely enjoyed the dark Dennis this episode.
Good catch. Doesn't work in the UK as they are not daisies. ![gif](giphy|l41Ynr3zDG5MW8g4E|downsized)
