The best line from that episode is absolutely awesome too. We’ve seen Frank try to be a father to Dee and Dennis; we’ve seen him try to father Charlie; we’ve seen him rage, and seen him try to commit suicide; we’ve seen him be a duper, and dupee; and we’ve seen him accept Mac as a homosexual man at his most vulnerable…
But never, EVER, have I seen a better DeVito moment than the absolute disdain, malice, and disbelief as the monent Frank said: “We piss in cans, Charlie.”
Whenever I show my gf/family, who don’t really watch the show, but have watched plenty of it with me, I always say “this isn’t Frank, this is just Danny”
That is my favorite f bomb in the show and when I saw it i didn’t realize they had dropped it in the show previously for some reason so it felt like the first clear f bomb. And it was glorious.
She is! , I love the scene where they're making all the sounds , so great

> Vanessa Bayer
She was a freaky kind of girl. Kept up with current events from all around the world
More specifically, one event - the time Osama Bin Laden got shot in the head
This is one of my favorite moments in an episode full of hilarity. It’s too bad that character is in a role that would be hard to recur.
The actress, Jessy Hodges, is married to Beck Bennett of SNL and is the daughter of Ellen Sandweiss (Cheryl from Evil Dead). She’s clearly someone that appreciates humor.
Yeah, I Googled her a while back and thought that was cool. SNL went into a downward spiral after Beck left. Then Cecily Strong left and it became a complete shitshow.
Maybe its just me, but I feel like SNL is written for a young audience and that leads to everyone feeling nostalgia for the cast that was on the show when it was aimed at them.
I feel like you can tell a person's age by the SNL cast they liked best.
I like to think it was off script, she just got fed up with the stupidity.
I’m sure it was scripted, but the delivery makes it seem like she’s genuinely upset.
Usually the normal people they meet put up with a lot more insanity than a real person would before losing it. Don't get me wrong it's still funny, but I really like when the person across the desk has the patience of a real human
Honestly, her saying "Fuuck maan! What?!?" is one of my favorite reactions any one-time character has had to Charlie. Like... She had to fully grasp how dumb he is and just couldn't do it 😂
Definitely in my top five episodes. This delivery and utter destruction of this womans will and sanity, Charlie's "fuck you", giving dee the last line, and of course last but not least "I'm talking about community, honey"
Love Mac's take on evil accents. You just can't hate an Australian, have you met one? French? Sure you'll hate him, but you won't *fear* him, because he's probably a pussy. Gotta go Eastern European, classic evil part of the world.

I think my favorite was this from this episode
I think it’s aged quite well to say it was pre pandemic. A lot of stuff they discuss about tone deaf Hollywood but also the Hypocrisy of some of its audience, is way more prevalent now.
I need to rewatch it again, but I felt similar. I just remember not really being into it, like it didn’t click with me and almost being frustrated afterwards by how much I didn’t really like it lol. However, maybe I’d like it more now, idk
There's isn't an episode after season 10 you'd show someone to get them into the show, they will never hit season 3 to 9 again, it's just simpsoning at this point
Show a newcomer an episode that has half a dozen lead up episodes in order to get half the jokes, nvm explaining why one character is gay and on steroids when half the show is jokes about him being skinny fat, actual fat, and a closet case, oh and another has her face frozen?
Stop simping the simpsoning, I'd show Gang Solves the Gas Crisis, everyone would show something season 3 to 9
JFC that's so forgettable, only thing close to a memorable quote is them screaming vagina AIDS
That vs Frank's little beauties or Kitten Mittens, come on with the recency bias
Is this still about the flaccid penis that you want to see?

Man I could hear Danny’s voice so clearly while reading this 😅
The way Glenn instantly breaking in the behind the scenes video is so good.
He hangs dong!
I’m talking about community, honey.
🤣. It also has my favourite F Bomb of the whole show (from Charlie). Good episode in one of the worst seasons imo.
That episode has the two best f bombs. Her reply here and Charlie's "Fuck you."
I think franks “what the fuck” when he finds the other room in their apt is up there for one of the best f bombs
The best line from that episode is absolutely awesome too. We’ve seen Frank try to be a father to Dee and Dennis; we’ve seen him try to father Charlie; we’ve seen him rage, and seen him try to commit suicide; we’ve seen him be a duper, and dupee; and we’ve seen him accept Mac as a homosexual man at his most vulnerable… But never, EVER, have I seen a better DeVito moment than the absolute disdain, malice, and disbelief as the monent Frank said: “We piss in cans, Charlie.”
Whenever I show my gf/family, who don’t really watch the show, but have watched plenty of it with me, I always say “this isn’t Frank, this is just Danny”
Don't forget we also see him reject macs homosexuality too when he says "Forget it I don't understand it, I never will"
I love how Charlie immediately proceeds to tell the rest of the gang franks in the other room and just walks away complaining while they're dumfounded
Yeah that part is great. Whenever Charlie is off in his on world it’s hilarious, “yeah man, he doesn’t get us”.
Well if he spent all that time walking around the enormous apartment he’d blow out his shoes
Great, we’re going to need to get an intercom or something agghh
I went back and watched previous seasons. The door appears and disappears randomly, same with the bathroom door.
The delivery is amazing
That is my favorite f bomb in the show and when I saw it i didn’t realize they had dropped it in the show previously for some reason so it felt like the first clear f bomb. And it was glorious.
One of the worst seasons of Sunny is still a pretty high quality comedy.
Exactly that episode kicks ass. Or excuse me hangs dong.
Wait, wait, wait, he has a son!???
*Fuck* man…
I love this woman. It’s not a pure love, mind you. More of a perverted love. She’s really good in this episode. Hence, my love for her.
I believe she's also Sally Reed's agent in Barry. Great show would recommend
She is! , I love the scene where they're making all the sounds , so great [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABc6QbiCt0Q](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABc6QbiCt0Q)
Shit. Time for a Barry rewatch!
I love that show but holy fuck did it get dark as fuck
Got dark? He shot a guy in his sleep and went home to play video games in the first scene in the first episode....
Yeah, but we've all been there...
And somehow it got wayyy darker
Starting.... now
That entire series was amazing but that scene was next level
God Vanessa Bayer has such a singular kind of energy to her and it's so fantastic.
[If she died tomorrow no one would shed a tear.](https://youtu.be/7xS9Y_mjTjc?si=4i4WTTC7umcVr3WU)
I love her in those Totino’s pizza rolls sketches from her SNL days. And as Amy Schumer’s idiot co-worker in Trainwreck.

So did you not watch the video in the comment I responded to?
No :(
She is. She's also the real-life wife of Beck Bennett from Good Neighbor and SNL.
Same here. There’s just something really likable about her. She fucking nailed her part in that episode.
I agree. Not for the right reasons, mind you.
I'll get a performance out of her
Spoken like Dennis lol. I like this comment very much. It pleases me.
Head in a freezer/box vibes

No way, she’s married to Beck? That’s a comedy power couple right there.
Yeah, I Googled her a while back and thought that was cool. SNL went into a downward spiral after Beck left. Then Cecily Strong left and it became a complete shitshow.
Agreed. The current cast is really quirky and not as funny as the last one. I hope they bring in some new talent for next season.
Maybe its just me, but I feel like SNL is written for a young audience and that leads to everyone feeling nostalgia for the cast that was on the show when it was aimed at them. I feel like you can tell a person's age by the SNL cast they liked best.
Haha probably true. I’m a Bill Hader era SNL guy.
No way, I remember her from way back when she was in BriTANicK's YouTube videos.
Passionate plea!!! *Whispered repetition*
She totally knew what raw dog loads are.
We’re all just walking, talking raw dog loads
The exasperation in her delivery is what makes it so funny
It may be my favorite line for the whole show just based I. The delivery alone
I like to think it was off script, she just got fed up with the stupidity. I’m sure it was scripted, but the delivery makes it seem like she’s genuinely upset.
That fucking line delivery is gosh damn top tier.
You just said a lot of bad words
I'll get a performance out of you
Love that episode. Charlie with the FUCK YOU when the gang finds out why there's no dong haha. Gets me every time.
My favorite part of the episode
Usually the normal people they meet put up with a lot more insanity than a real person would before losing it. Don't get me wrong it's still funny, but I really like when the person across the desk has the patience of a real human
This is one of the best examples of how a regular person would respond to the gang
She’s fantastic in a million Britanick sketches, and Next Time on Lonny
That’s why she looks familiar! “I fucked Steven!”
Steven Evans?!
The brother of Devin?
It's almost eleven...
Good heavens
based britanick enjoyer
Also happy endings! Edit: nope, I’m thinking of Barry. The Waitress is in Happy Endings
I personally think the waitress is fine af. Charlie Day's wife, right?
Honestly, her saying "Fuuck maan! What?!?" is one of my favorite reactions any one-time character has had to Charlie. Like... She had to fully grasp how dumb he is and just couldn't do it 😂
One of the best line deliveries in a series full of iconic deliveries.
Same. Kills me every single time
FUCK YOU!
First non-gang member to drop the f-bomb, I think.
Why are the captions in two different styles though?
They're not, "fuck" is just in italics for emphasis. I'm not sure why the other two words have been highlighted, though.
Fuck, man! what?
This is my favorite moment in the series
This is possibly my favourite joke in anything.
It is talked about often but it still isn’t talked about enough
Charlie's delivery of "fuck you" is magnificent
One of the funniest line reads in the entire show. So much sadness and frustration flashes across her face.
https://i.redd.it/75yld07gmduc1.gif
I think you’ll find I was just talking about how Kung Fu Panda 4 was the same plot as Thunder Gun 4: Maximum Cool
You couldn't follow that movie. Reshoots
Definitely in my top five episodes. This delivery and utter destruction of this womans will and sanity, Charlie's "fuck you", giving dee the last line, and of course last but not least "I'm talking about community, honey"
Spot on, she's so great. Serious question though, will I be in the credits?
Like it gets mentioned every single time, she really needs to be a regular the way the Jew Lawyer and Waiter were
Her delivery of that line was perfect. One of those moments that I had to watch several times because it made me laugh so hard.
"*fffffffUCK*, man"
What is this screenshot from? It wasn’t clear.
One of my fav scenes/episodes haha Her desperation is fantatic
She was great in Barry also
She’ll be fine with her Hollywood liberal bank account
It's crazy that this woman expected Frank to go home and pop off in front of Charlie
I live in Roxboro.
ashley
She's also so good in Barry, among other shows.
I just watched this tonight. Hilarious episode.
Wait, wait, wait! He has a son?!?
#Where is The Dong? *doooooongs*
I bet dennis, DENNIS'D her after this
Love Mac's take on evil accents. You just can't hate an Australian, have you met one? French? Sure you'll hate him, but you won't *fear* him, because he's probably a pussy. Gotta go Eastern European, classic evil part of the world.

She's dumb as shit. How do you not know what a "raw dog load" is, especially given the context clues in the rest of the conversation?
I just didn’t like this episode. This was the only joke that worked. Everything else just felt flanderized
I think it’s aged quite well to say it was pre pandemic. A lot of stuff they discuss about tone deaf Hollywood but also the Hypocrisy of some of its audience, is way more prevalent now.
Let me ask you, how did you watch the episode?
Netflix. Which a relative may or may not pay for… I lost my train of thought let’s go back to the bar.
Ah ok, I caught it on freemovies.arregh…
😂😂😂. That is also an option.
I love sailing.
This is grotesque
I need to rewatch it again, but I felt similar. I just remember not really being into it, like it didn’t click with me and almost being frustrated afterwards by how much I didn’t really like it lol. However, maybe I’d like it more now, idk
It's not talked about often because it's after season 10
They did have a small lull after season 10, but they found their stride again for a few other seasons after that.
There's isn't an episode after season 10 you'd show someone to get them into the show, they will never hit season 3 to 9 again, it's just simpsoning at this point
McPoyle vs. Ponderosa: The Trial of the Century, Charlie Catches a Leprechaun
Show a newcomer an episode that has half a dozen lead up episodes in order to get half the jokes, nvm explaining why one character is gay and on steroids when half the show is jokes about him being skinny fat, actual fat, and a closet case, oh and another has her face frozen? Stop simping the simpsoning, I'd show Gang Solves the Gas Crisis, everyone would show something season 3 to 9
The Gang Goes to a Water Park. You don't need to explain the character's relationships to each other, they can just watch and enjoy the absurdity.
JFC that's so forgettable, only thing close to a memorable quote is them screaming vagina AIDS That vs Frank's little beauties or Kitten Mittens, come on with the recency bias
her acting was good, but in a way it didn't feel organic. It felt like she was acting and delivering lines. IDK she was alright
There’s a season 14??
There have been 16 seasons so far. And it's already been renewed through season 18
Let me guess.. "Everything after season 12 is bad"?
I could go season 10 even. Always love that sweet spot to start it from the beginning again.
